Hi D,

Any idea why I’m still receiving e-mails from the newsletter form that is empty? I’m worried that I miss out on subscriptions because of some bug.

I have to mention that every time I test it myself, it goes through fine, with name and e-mail as it should. (I solved my earlier problem with the google crawler reading my e-mail address from the form, thanks)

I don’t feel I get these e-mails as much (the same problem occurs on the contact form page) as I used to, but as said, it worries me.

Another issue with the contact form; Spammers, “businesses” and scammers uses my contactform.

Is there a way to implement keywords, so that when someone writes a message containing one or more of these words, and upon sending the message, gets rejected with a reason?

I guess there will have to be some coding, I just want to know of there’s a possibility to implement this.

the easiest way to implement a captcha for secure forms is by using the “contact form 7” plugin which works great!

My site went slow – wait-for-1-minute-slow-between-pageloads-slow-crap.

I expected it to be serverside, so I grabbed ahold of my providers support team, and they first made me change my DB HOST in the config file. Allright, not too hard, but didn’t solve the problem. After talking with the technical team, the supporter told me this;

As per the technical team, your template is the one making your website slow. They asked you to try to use another template just to check, If you find that it is faster with other templates, then you will need to find a way to optimise your current theme scripts, particiularly these scripts: 1. themes/notorious/css/screen.php 2. themes/notorious/js/templatefunctions.php

At this point I’m NOT ready to dig into other templates because that’s way too many working hours down the drain. I just want to talk to you about this to check if this is a known problem, and hoping you might have a solution.

Don’t you agree that your hoster must have changed something if it has been running fine before?

I totally agree with you. They ALWAYS blame the theme. Occasionally they admit that there is some maintenance going on. I’d love to be able to check the servers status just to know if they’ve put my site on some scrap.

I am having trouble with syntax errors on my website (http://dare2dreamdesigns.com) I updated my plug-ins and Option Tree and now I am receiving all kinds of weird error messages. Can you take a glimpse at my site and tell me what’s going on? Or do I need to update the Notorious theme?

Hi D,

For about a year, there have been a notification on the top of my backend pages, telling me this: “The OptionTree plugin is required for this theme to function properly. Install now.”

Site is functioning fine, I do have OptionThree installed, can update it with new menus and so on. Any way to get rid of this annoying notification?

I bought this theme and it is great! I was wondering if there is a way to create 2 different portfolios which have their own unique content – For example I would like to separate my wedding video work and my corporate video work on 2 different portfolio pages on the same site. Please let me know any suggestions or if this is possible.

Hey, Okay, one other question: is there a possibility of linking each of the front 4 thumbnails to pages instead of pulling up the portfolio? i.e. We would like to allow people to click on the thumbnail to navigate to a specific service

Sorry since this our oldest theme it does not allow for many customization options. You will need to do manual css changes.
