Hi,

Is there an easy way for me to limit how many categories (or least number of characters) are shown for portfolios in the Popup style? Many of my portfolio items have many categories and the text runs outside of the popup box…

check it out here (specifically rollover Inner Elements or Santosha)

Hi there,

There is no default option to limit the categories there. Maybe you can assign less categories to the post and add them in the description.

What you can do is send us a message with the contact form on our profile page. Include your question, WP Login details and FTP details so I can assign it to the developer. But I can’t promise there is a simple solution for this.

Thanks, I ended up solving it with a character count:

When you open up the /js/custom.js you’ll find the testimonial JS code. You can add these options:

Hey, great theme. Quick question. I’m trying to use the toggle shortcode where the toggle content is hidden until the viewer clicks on the arrow to view the content. When I use the shortcode the opposite is happening. The toggle content is already open and visible. Any way to make this happen?

in the portfolio “project info”, which appears next to the images: Is there a way to make the “what we did” listed categories to links? For example in your demo it says next to a portfolio image: “what we did: Design, print” but the “design” and “print” is just plain text and I like it for my website to be links to the categories. Is it possible to make changes in the code somewhere?

Appearance -> Menus
Click on “Screen Options” at top right
Check “Descriptions”.

Now you can add a description to each menu item.

Hi, WPScientist, I purchased Nuance yesterday, Now I am trying to apply it. I want to choose category like blog module of Eptonic theme also in Nuance. How can I make it? and I wanna make each blog module have differenct category.

For example,

blog module 1—-> category 1

separate module

blog module 2—-> category 2

I thought I could choose category in Nuance because Eptonic support that function. After purchasing I got to know that Nuance didn’t have such function like Eptonic. Please let me know how to choose category function in Nuance.

Hello,

First off, this is by far the best WordPress theme out there, period. The customizing possibilities on this are INSANE . I’m hoping that some kind soul out there can help me, as I’m relatively new to WordPress and PHP .

First, is there a way to change the text on portfolio-type pages, where it says “What We Did”? That doesn’t for what I need, is there a way to change that? I’m trying to avoid creating custom fields as I am not comfortable doing that…yet.

Second, please – how in the heck do you get to select/add more slider images? I have uploaded tons of pictures to my media library yet only 3 are available in the slider images? Why is that? Is it a certain size only, or? I’m totally lost

Hello again, sorry to add to the thread again like this but – did I sent the support request to the wrong email? I’m not sure if I did it correctly, I just used the contact form in the corner, is that the one?

I really only need to figure out how to change that “What We Did” text for my portfolio pages – so I can start uploading my products. Something more like “Categories:” or whatever would be better suited for me.
