Ocean Premium WordPress Theme

I am so very disappointed that I purchased this theme. Your documentation does not explain how to add images to the slider or does it adequately explain how to add a gallery, two very important items of your theme that should be included rather than having to negotiate the theme files via ftp. Shame on you for giving the impression that your theme is easy to navigate and configure.

Hows the new version Serge? Can we create more than one Gallery to feature different content?

So rather than explain to me how to complete the issues I’m having problems with you’d rather tell me there’s a new version on the way that does nothing to help me now?! Wow, I think my complaints to Theme Forest and following social media blasts are warranted. It’s a shame because the friend I’m trying to help with this really likes the look of your demo, breaks my heart to have to explain to him that it doesn’t work the way it’s shown.

I emailed for support on this theme. I got a reply email back. I replied to the emails, and i yet to get any response. It’s been a week now and i have things i need to fix with the template. If i don’t get this resolved, i will be asking for a refund.

@MsJaszy – I feel your pain. No where does it really show you where to add images to slider. Then i get email telling me how, but i can’t locate where. I think a refund is now due. My client cannot wait another week when this was supposed to have been up and running by now.

we have actually changed the color of background already, although the font is still white. we are having issue finding where the code pulls for text font on website.

I am very happy with the theme, very well designed.

That being said, I have a problem implementing the portfolio page.

I followed the instructions and edited the gallery.xml file and added the shortcode to the “portfolio” page : http://www.altexnouveau.comoj.com/portfolio/

I get the portfolio menu but no thumbnail nor description.

I would really appreciate your help here !

Thank you for your reply. I am afraid I did not change path in the new portfolio page (see below) so I don’t see what the problem is here.

I created a “portfolio” page with : [ocean_gallery col=”2”] as html content.

The images are located in the folders : img/gallery/large for the large ones and img/gallery/thumbs/two_column for the thumbnails.

And my gallery.xml file includes : /img/gallery/large/ /img/gallery/thumbs/two_column/ /img/gallery/thumbs/three_column/ /img/gallery/thumbs/four_column/ as paths.

Where might the problem be ? I assume we don’t have to enter a complete path.

Yes, I made multiple tests to the gallery.xml, trying to edit the image names, paths to get it working, but unfortunately, it still does not work.

I can share the gallery.xml file via PM if you want. For now, I just reused the original xml.

Nice theme design, I’ve managed to get it to do nearly everything I wanted, but stuck on a couple little items. I don’t mind changing the code myself if you could just point me in the right direction real quick..

Under recent projects, it appears that any post appears under this section. I would like to add a filter so that only posts of CATEGORY =”PROJECTS” actually appear in recent projects, all other posts will not be seen there.

Can you give me the magic line of code for that and tell me where to paste?

Thank you for creating this theme. Suites my clients needs very well. Just one most likely simple change that i am over looking. How do i change the roll over colour on the main menu? Its blue, i need it to be gold. Can you please let me know where in the style sheet to change this. Thank you in advance!

Also very dissatisfied with this theme, and dont tell me the BS that “so many are satisfied” , were not. And i read the other responses. No idea how to get the two column gallery working, your instructions are shit.

I simply cannot get the gallery to work, but have settled for a plug-in gallery at this point. Is it possible to remove the posted in, date, and time fields?

Good theme, but I can’t seem to get a hold of Serge. I’d like to upgrade the to the new version. Because the posting is beyond primitive in that you have to create three sizes of images for it to look proper. The theme itself works great and Serge has answered questions in the past. Recently in the 6-12 months, he’s disappeared.

Hi! Great theme. I’ve got everything working good so far. Couple of questions:

1) How can I format the Featured Image of posts to be the same size as their smaller thumbnail size? For example, when I’m on the Latest Projects page, it shows a list of all posts with the featured image of each in a small form. When I click on the post to enter, the image goes to full-size. How can I keep it small thumbnail size within the post?

2) I would like to implement a shopping cart in my site. Do you have any suggestions as to what the best way would be to do this?

Hi, can you explain how to upgrade this theme to 1.03 without losing all of the customization entered in 1.02? Is there a specific file or file I can just replace via FTP to fix the dashboard/wp admin issue? Thx!
