How can you force the navigation to only show the drop-down version for all screen widths?
I have a links for Days 1 through 30 and do not like hot they wrap and display multiple rows. What’s the simplest way to force the drop-down view only for any screen width?
Thanks for the purchase!
This will require a bit of customization work on your part, but we can point you in the right direction. If you want to retain the responsiveness of the template, but keep the top navbar in desktop mode, you’ll need to do two things.
First switch the stylesheet being used from bootstrap.min.css to bootstrap.css in the html. Both files were included in the download and will already be in your css folder. Next, go to bootstrap.css and delete lines 5111 – 5236 and save the file.
That will keep the top menu the way you want, but you’ll have to add some additional css to style.css to get things to display exactly as you need.
Hope this helps!
I have one problem.
why the file contact form php is not included ?
The Ocean template is an HTML5 template. The majority of HTML templates on themeforest do not include php files. You can use Ocean’s contact form styling in combination with any php contact form you build or find on the web.
hello , u said 6 months ago that WP theme is coming in month,
i need to buy W theme is two weeks, ur theme is coming or what..?
We are intentionally holding off on a wordpress version of Ocean. We have been busy lately working on major updates to all of our templates and will be releasing a few new ones soon. Wordpress version is still a good bit of time away, definitely not in two weeks.
Sorry, but I hope this helps.
I’m having trouble visualizing what the home page will look like once I’ve customized it. I’ll have Home, About, Services, Resources, Blog, Contact, and (possibly later) Testimonials. Will the About, Services, Resources, and Testimonials pages appear on the top menu bar?
Thanks! Love the template.
Yes, all of that should fit in the menu bar, and you can give each one whichever icon you choose from bootstrap’s icon set http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/base-css.html#icons
When do you anticipate the bootstrap 3.0 version?
We’re finishing up now and will submit for release at the end of next week!
Really appreciate you updating this to Bootstrap 3. This is such a nice template and quality work on your part. Great job.
Would so love to have one or two other boothstrap 3 templates from you. Something slightly different then Ocean, but with the same great clean qualities.
We do have a couple more bootstrap 3.0 templates in the works that we are planning to release before the end of the year.
Ocean 2.0 is out now!
We’ve worked hard to make Ocean a great theme to work with. In addition to the bootstrap 3.0 upgrade, we’ve adjusted thousands of lines of code to make Ocean the best it can be. See release notes at the bottom of the item page for more details.
In Chrome, the icon-boxes on the home page do not line up – can this be fixed please?
Thanks for purchasing!
I believe this issue was fixed in the 2.0 release. Make sure you have the latest version downloaded.
If you do and you still have the issue let me know, and I will help you out.
The current live sample you have here on Themeforest for Ocean has a lot of tags that are not Bootstrap 3 tags. You’ve indicated this is a BT3 template, so I’m wondering if you could explain the live sample?
The live preview is still showing version 1.0 of Ocean, not the new version 2.0. We didn’t update it right away because the look and functionality of both versions is the same.
However there are a few small new features like the ad rotator that aren’t visible there. We will definitely update the preview to reflect the Ocean 2.0 changes this week. Thanks for the reminder!
