Hi Jonathan, this is an absolutely great looking page, I completely agree with all other similar comments:
I am ready to buy it and I have 2 questions that are not answered in prior comments or product description.
I am not a developer, and have very basic understanding of your “language”.
1 Since this is HTML , does this mean that in order to have the sales page appear in my existing word press theme (Phoenix), I merely have to create a “New Page” in word press, then copy and paste the HTML code of the sales page into the new page?
2, I assume the color scheme of the sales page is fully customizable so I can match the colors of my existing theme?
Thank you,I appreciate your time.
Steve
Hi Steve – please go ahead with your questions and I will try and help answer any.
Many thanks!
Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I had posted my question in earlier message, not sure why they were hidden.
anyway, questions were:
to use your sales page in an existing WP Theme, am I correct in understanding that I need to create a “New Page” in word press, and then copy the HTML code of the sales page into the new page?
and, are the colors of your Sales Page template customizable so that I may match the color scheme of my existing Theme?
Thanks again.
Steve
Hi – this is a HTML landing page – not a theme – there is a full Oceanic wordpress theme available – link is on the item description here – click here – but to answer your question re using the theme (not this product) – you have to install it as a theme – as for customization of colors used – yes it’s totally possible and easy via CSS which you can edit and FTP or you can use the admin area to add / replace your own.
Thank you Jonathan…
I understand this is not a Theme.
To clarify…I already have a WP Theme (Phoenix),but I want to use your product to create a sales page that will reside on my current web site. So, that is why I am asking if I simply need to copy and paste the HTML code of your sales page, into a New Page that i create in my web site.
I understand about the colors…great news!
Thanks again for the fast reply
Steve
Well you can’t really do that because it will inherit the css styles from your current theme and therefore will not look the same – sorry
Hmmmm, okay, so if the Sales Page is not a Theme, and I cannot simply copy and paste html code into my existing Theme…how is your sales page supposed to be used (short of switching to the Oceanic theme altogether)?
Would I use it directly in something like Mailchimp, or Constant Contact, to create a Sales campaign?
Do you have any recommendations on how I would integrate it to support a sales campaign via my existing site?
Thanks again.
Steve
You would use it as a specific landing page – in HTML – separate to your theme – a specific domain or url on your own – setup as the index page.
Mailchimp etc are HTML emails – a completely different thing (however an oceanic email is also available that can be used for campaigns in these services)
Other than styling a page using your themes included capabilities I don’t have any other advise apart from that which I mentioned above Steve – thanks.
Hi Jonathan -
I just purchased oceanic and tried to upload the zip to my WP site but got an error:
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
Name Description Oceanic_Finals Stylesheet is missing.
Hi – the error you got is because you tried uploading the entire zip file you got from themeforest – you should unpack the zip folder first, then follow the instructions supplied within your new folder you unzipped – thanks
— Jonathan
Thanks for the FAST reply Jonathan. I’ll follow your instructions and let you know.
Still having trouble with the install. I unzipped your original file. Opened the HTML files folder. Then zipped the folder titled download_now
When I tried to upload the theme I got a page that looks like this:
http://cl.ly/300l2e2G2H1R3D3T2u10Sorry – I just realized you bought the Oceanic Landing Page and not the Oceanic WordPress theme. WP will not accept this as an actual theme. You would need to purchase the Oceanic WP theme and install that.
Thanks
Jonathan
I just purchased.. having problem with the tabs. Here is my link http://www.everyappliancerepair.com the slider tabs look plain instead of blue. ANy ideas how to fix?
Hi Jonathan,
Is this a wordpress theme? I bought this file but I believe I need to know how to convert it to wordpress. I see you have another version that is a wordpress template. If this can’t be converted can I upgrade?
Hi you bought a landing page – html – you’ll never get a wordpress theme for around $8 sorry. We do have a full blown wordpress theme based around this design – you may want to take a look and see if it fits your requirements -
http://themeforest.net/item/oceanic-premium-wordpress-theme/180074(We also supply links under the main product image showing you all the various associated products and their types etc)
authors are not the sellers that would be the marketplace and I don’t believe there are refunds on digital items I’m afraid – but you could try contacting support to see what they say.
Many thanks
Jonathan
Why is the software box not include as .psd file? Could you send it to me if posible? remy@680.dk
Because of copyrights I cannot redistribute sorry – the 3d software box is created using a very inexpensive photoshop plugin from graphicriver – if you do a search there’s plenty of them.
Many thanks
Jonathan
Hi,
I have your theme and i just bought the landing page item, how do empliment the landing page into the website. What do i do to make this work.
Please let me know
Grtz.
David
Hi and thank you for your purchase. This HTML doesn’t actually go with the theme, so you would upload the files to a server and just use custom links within the WordPress theme to point to your HTML URL of the landing page.
Hi I just bought this and trying to install into wordpress, but it comes up with this message: Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
please help!
Hi – you purchased a HTML landing page not a WordPress theme I’m afraid. I do have a WordPress theme of this product available here:
http://themeforest.net/item/oceanic-premium-wordpress-theme/180074oh no! can i return it please i don’t know html?
You will need to open a support ticket with Envato (theme forest) as the are actually the seller and it is their decision when it comes to refunds sorry.
Hi Jonathan that is understandable, thanks for your reply, do you by chance have a wordpress version of it?
yes see my first reply where I mentioned you purchased a HTML and that I have a WP version and supply a link
Thanks!
Hi, Please, help me! I have 2 problems with these theme:
1) I start to getting sql error messages in virtuemart admin pages, after change the front-end default language to brazilian portuguese.
2) I turned on the catalog mode on virtuemart, but the button “add to cart” still showing at product lists.
Thanks
Hi – seems you have me mixed up with the wrong support – your errors are (as you state) coming from virtuemart admin pages and mysql – mysql errors would be your hosting company, and virtuemart would be the creator of that I’m afraid.
Thanks
Jonathan
Sorry! I posted at wrong theme. Please, ignore it. :/
No problem – good luck with your issues!
