How do I make it always the light blue theme without having to select it every single time.

Little-Neko

Hello, Thanxs a lot for choosing our template.

As stated in the documentation:

- Locate css folder, you have all the colors in there - Choose your color - Open the file, copy the content - Open “colors.css”, replace content with the one of your color file - Finally, open “custom.js” and erase the lines at the top (see comments in file), to remove the color switcher script

Hello again Neko. Quick question regarding the Flex Slider. By default the Flex Slider text slides in over the image. Is it possible to set the (h2) and (div txt) to fade in/out rather than slide in?

Thanks!

Little-Neko

Hello, You will have to first modify our js extension of the Flex slider, then the css that positions the elements outside of the slider.

Open custom.js and locate the animateTxt at line 730, replace with this:

function animateTxt(curSlide, state){
    if(state == 'off'){
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('h2').css('display', 'none');
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('div').css('display', 'none');
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('a').css('display', 'none');

        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').fadeIn(200, 'easeInOutQuart', function () {
            $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('h2').fadeIn(200, 'easeInOutQuart', function () {
                 $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('div').fadeIn(200, 'easeInOutQuart', function () {
                     $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('a').fadeIn(200);
                 });
            });
        });
    }else{
        //change the display state
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').fadeOut(400);
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('h2').css('display', 'none');
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('div').css('display', 'none');
        $('.slideN'+curSlide).children('.txt').children('a').css('display', 'none');
    }
}
Then in layout.css change from line 2036 to line 2076 to position the elements:
    .flexslider .slides .txt h2 {
        font-weight:800;
        padding: 0;
        font-size:  3.916em;
        line-height:1em;
        color:white;
        text-shadow: 0px 1px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
        margin-bottom:0.4em;
        /*margin-left:-800px;*/
        margin-left:0;
        margin-top:0;
        width:100%;
        text-transform:none;

    }
    .flexslider .txt div {
        /*opacity:0;*/
        opacity:1;
        -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=0)";
        filter: alpha(opacity=0);
        -moz-opacity: 0;
        -khtml-opacity: 0;
        margin-bottom:1.5em;
        padding:1.5em;
        /*margin-left:490px;*/
        margin-left:0;
    }
    .flexslider .txt div p {
        margin:0;
        width:432px;
    }
    .flexslider .txt div ul {
        margin:1.5em 0 0 0;
        list-style: disc;
        list-style-position: inside;
        width:432px;
    }
    .flexslider .txt a {
        /*margin-top:230px;*/
        margin-top:0;
    }

How to create a PrettyPhoto gallery. The ’ rel=”” ’ comment does not appear to work as the plugin is intended?

Little-Neko
Hello, To get gallery working,please, open custom.js and add this line (on line 115):
$("a[rel^='prettyPhoto']").prettyPhoto();

then open your html file and add a ‘rel’ attribute on your links like so

rel="prettyPhoto[yourGalleryName]"

Please note that your page will not validate (W3C), but that is how the plugin works.

Cheers

Thanks, it worked and we now have 13 galleries on a single page.

I would like to use the template-header-style2.html template but currently it is covering part of the top page. This is even true in the demo. I can fix it but I wanted you to be aware as maybe you have a better idea.

Little-Neko

Hello,

First, thanxs a lot for choosing our template!

Yes, i see there’s something missing here…

Please open layout.css and replace
.logoBig{ padding-top:160px; }
with
.logoBig{ padding-top:142px; }

The padding value will have to be tweaked depending on the height of the logo. It’s needed for the fixed menu behaviour.

Some media queries should be updated too (as fixed menu is removed in smaller width, we don’t need any padding on the body):

@media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 979px) {
    /* GENERAL */
    body {
        padding-top:0;
    }

replaced with:

  body, .logoBig {
        padding-top:0;
    }

And for tablets:
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.logoBig {
        padding-top:0;
}

Btw, we recently launched our support forum, to help us keep track of the support requests, and allow users to search through previous threads. Forum is opened to everyone to read, you will ony need to register to be able to post a new topic.

Thanxs for pointing this. Let me know if you need further assistance.

The new Twitter Widget displays the oldest Tweet at the top of the list. Any fix for this so it displays the most recent tweet at top so the list displays newest to oldest?

Helllo, It works fine for me. Please post your issue on our support forum, adding the URL and attach the HTML code of your page so we can take a look? Thanxs.

Hi, I’m having trouble creating a support account. I add my TF account name and purchase code but receive no email confirmation for that or forgot password option. I have a few questions I need to answers to. With 697 purchases I find the support forums have few entries possibly due to this signup issue. I’ve checked cookies, spam folders, added the url to whitelist etc. but not registration is not happening. Thanks for your help.

Little-Neko

Hello, First thanxs a lot for choosing our template.

Supports forums have been launched a couple of weeks ago, so that is why there are only few entries, and btw, we don’t get that much support requests :).

It looks like something went wrong when you registered, though account is created. I updated it and I send you password via mail (you will be able to change it once logged in).

Hello Little-Neko, I am thinking of getting this theme, I was wondering at the description it doesn’t say support IE10 will it also support new browsers \ retrina?

Also I can’t decide what to buy this or Snowflake, can both themes swap the footers? For example OHMY footer at Snowflake?

Or have in the Ohmy: Latest projects, latest news, Mini contact box.

Greetings :D

Little-Neko

Hello, Thanxs for your interrest in our template! :) Template support IE10 (just updated the description). Not sure what you mean about new browsers \ retrina…

Both themes are based on Bootstrap framework, you would just need some css work to mix elements between them.

Cheers

Hi ! Is it possible to get the .psd files of this template? Thanks.

Little-Neko

Hello, It was designed in browser, so there is no psd files, sorry.

We have built several sites with this template in the past. Your download package is missing some files and scripts. There are obvious code errors in download package. Download 8/16/2013 themeforest-3589661-ohmy-html5-css3-bootstrap-website-template.zip Your download files do not match preview. Please advise as to the status of this template.

Little-Neko

Hello, The package should be the same as the demo. Please try to download it again, in case something went wrong with the zip file.

Update!!
It looks like my downloaded package had a few corrupted files “custom.js for one” that caused a multitude of errors across template.
Downloaded a new template to another workstation and all looked normal. Also looking forward to building a site with your new Snowflake template.

Big Thanks. Great work.

First i want to tell you that i love your template. is it possible to change the direction the images exit on the slider. for example: now the fist image “ohmy1.png” comes in from the right and exits back to the right as well. • I want it to come in from the right and exit to the left. in other words to come in right to left stop in the middle and exit right to left.

Little-Neko

Hello, Thanxs for choosing our template and glad you like it. We included the sliders documentation in the package where you will find all options available.

Hi – great template. Are there any plans to update the template to use V3 of Bootstrap now it is released? Many thanks.

Little-Neko

Hello, thanxs for choosing our template.

BS3 is too fresh to be used in a stable HTML template at the moment ( https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/pulls )

Sure BS3 is good for marketing, but we are not willing to force our customers to beta test bootstrap on their live project :)

That being said, we keep an eye on it and probably will be upgrading in the near future. Cheers

Hello, I bought the template for you, however, does not home2.html banner, why?

Hello, thanxs for choosing our template.

I’m sorry i don’t really understand what you mean. Home2.html is in the package I just downloaded. Maybe try to re-download it.

If you meant anything else, please be more precise.

Cheers

Default-user

Hello, yes the home2.html is in the package. What is there in the banner home2.html.

I’ve done the download again, but to no avail, How to proceed?

Little-Neko

Ah, i guess you mean you don’t see the slider? You need to put the website on a web server (online or local). Slider won’t work in chrome but will in FF or IE (if you allow script loading), untill then, for security reasons.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
