Arabica Purchased

Hi

When i try to uploade the template to Mailchimp, it says that only HTML -files may be uploaded. How do I upload the images? I have tried to zip the template and images and uploade it to Mailchimp, but without luck.

What to do? Thanks.

Hi Arabica,

Thanks for purchasing Okay Business, go to Mailchimp, in the dashboard click on the “Templates” button, then “Code Your Own”, “Import Zip File”.

Thanks for the instructions – works fine.

Another question: If clicking the “view online” link in the mail the webpage is name “Okay business” – where can this be changed?

Thanks.

Hi Arabica,

Glad everything worked fine :)

In the source tab in Mailchimp’s visual editor locate the tag <title> will be in the first couple lines of code and update Okay business with your title.

Regards.

Hi, You are quick :-)

The source tab in MailChimp does not show the first source lines. Title, metatags etc. is not shown there. But I can see them, if I try to view the mail online and then look at the source. But where do I edit them?

Thanks.

Well, since there is no way in Mailchimp’ source editor, then you will have to open the original HTML file in any text editor and search for <title> once you update the title re-upload the template to Mailchimp.

I was thinking the same myself, but then I will lose all the changes I have made on the template allready…

Should have had the info before the upload…

Try this: click on “Templates” button, the choose “My Templates”, you will find the template click on the < > sign, edit the <title> tag. Enjoy!

Regards.

Can someone please explain how I would use this in say Gmail or Outlook?

I have purchased and designed my newsletter but I was noticing the HR elements and some of the images I used are being called to in a folder…

what I am confused about is how I can just take the code insert it into the email and it will generate what I have designed for my personal newsletter use. and do i need to upload my images every-time ?

Hi motionmechanic,

Please contact me via my profile contact form so I can send you the steps with a screenshot how to use the template in Outlook.

You don’t need to upload the images every time you create a new newsletter if you embed the images when sending (like in Outlook).

Regards.

Hey. Very nice template. Is it compatible & tested with Sendblaster

http://www.sendblaster.com/

Thanks

Gifky

Hi Peaceonearth,

Sendblaster allows importing HTML files so all my templates should be compatible with it.
