I found the problem: fontsquirrel generated a name for LeagueGothic that wasn’t the same as in the script. In the font folder I changed ‘league_gothic-webfont.xxxx’ to ‘league_gothic-regular-webfont.xxx’ and everything shows properly.

Unfortunately we can’t include fonts (in original pack, names of font are the same).
I have purchased the template, and it works fine. Only the contact form does not work in ie8. is there also a way to use the Form in ie8? I need this because many of our customers still use IE8, and it is important because the customers order on the website. thanks for the support and sorry for my english!
In IE8 contact form works fine, but…

As you know, IE8 is not supporting shadows. So, what you need to do is add some border that will be visible in IE8. Here is how to do it:
Edit your css file, find ”#contact-form .error” and add before or after box-shadow>
border: 1px solid #CF9585;
Now, errors will be visible in IE8.

<!DOCTYPE HTML>is case-insensitively. and gives an example of uppercase characters, your template has lowercase characters but as it is not case sensitive this can not be the problem .I can get hungarian / greek or any otrher language to display if I change the doc declarations to the old standard html4 / utf-8 but then it’s not so responsive.. Could you look into this and help thanks, I’m sure others might have the same problem.

Propably, the problem is that olipizza uses non default fonts that not supports the encoding that you want to use. For example – those fonts not supports polish characters as well.
No, the problem is not with the fonts, if for example I select Times New Roman, a basic font that gets installed on every machine, I still see the question mark sign in a diamond box.
I have got around the issue by adding these lines to the head.

hello i am having trouble with the fonts , i changed it for arial so i can use special latin characters becuase it is a spanish site, it works fine in chrome , safari mozzila , and in the ipad but in the iphone it displays the special charcters only when it is connected to wifi not in 3g it doesnt display the special characters , why is that ? help please

Geting started with this theme took a while as when you first open it, it looks nothing like whats in the live demo.(I’ve modified the authors comments to make them clearer)
the first step is to get the fonts from font squirrel search for 1)Daniel 2)League gothic 3)pacifico
download the TTF file for each font.
the 2nd step is to:
Use fontface generator http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator (upload font, leave optimal checkbox checked). and download the fille.
Inside the downloaded folder are the font files,move the files into the font folder of your website, Then copy the content of stlesheet.css(in the font folder) to style.css (in the css folder of the theme) and replace the font css styles.
use find and replace to make sure the filenames of the fonts in the font folder matches those in the css code in your style.css file, also make sure the font family attribute of the fonts(at the top of style,css) is the same used in the body of the css

I can’t make the font work. I downloaded the fonts, copied then in the font folder, uploaded but the website showed other type of fonts.
