is it wordpress 3.0.2 competible now? can we upgrade wordpress?

I’ve recently purchased this template and im just having some problems with getting images to appear in the slider..

In the Oliver Slider section i added my text post for the left hand slider which works fine and then uploaded a JPG photo for the right hand slider (620p X 261p) as specified and it worked perfectly the first time. Since then I decided to change the picture and had no luck.. after fiddling for ages I decided just to put the old pic back up but now that doesn’t work either… its strange because as far as I can tell nothing has changed?.. Do you have any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Kaya,

I did actually have the image names starting with lowever case, however I changed them and updated all the image links but still no luck unfortunately.. I current only have the default plugins and they are both deactivated… Anything else I could try?

Since my last post, all of sudden it doesn’t let me upload my pics anymore!.. I get the error msg “missing a temporary folder” but I havent changed anything.. so not sure whats going on.. Anyway, if you can fix both issues I’ll be very happy. What is your direct email address.. I will set you up a new wordpress user log on and email you the password

Ok cool, will email you the login details now.. By the way I managed to fix the upload problem by setting up a tmp directory but still got the issue of the image not appearing in the slider when I preview the page.. Cheers James

Having problems with the Half, Third and Fourth shortcodes. I tried ending the last one with [/LastHalf] which seems to work, but then page shows the [/LastHalf] code!:

I’m trying to use the WP-prettyPhoto plugin but as soon as I activate it the slider on the home page stops working. I know they both use JQuery script and I’m guessing they are conflicting but I noticed that your demo page uses both and all works fine..? Can you kindly advice how I can fix this?

Hello, Just purchased, for some reason my pages bar at the top is not there. Instead they are listed in just regular text by the logo? How do I fix?

Figured out the menu problem…. Now is there anyway to slow down the slider, it is too fast to read anything. Also how do I seperate testimonials with the front page?

sadly something is not working right. Don’t know what’s going on here…I’m not a bad rookie though…

There are also some issues when writing normal text. Doesn’t seem like the systems takes any spaces or empty lines between textblocks. I always have to add p oder br tags. That’s way strange.

how can i embed a Page with Blog- or News-Template into the FrontPage? I’ve tested this with some Pages, Normal-Template-Pages will be embedded, Blog- or News-Template-Pages will not be displayed.

I want to use the Space underneath the Slider as a News-Display.
