Dear onioneye,

is there any way for me to buy the psd version of this template? Or if I buy this one will I get psd files also?

Thanks in advance!

onioneye

Hi there,

thank you for taking an interest in the Omm theme!

I design straight in the browser – it’s a popular way of designing websites nowadays – so I unfortunately do not have a PSD version of the theme. The theme does offer full layered PSDs of all the icons (retina + regular), and page content such as the one under “Our Services” and “Our Clients,” but as said previously, I do not offer PSDs of the whole layout.

Have fun working with Omm, if you still end up buying it! :)

Sincerely,

OnionEye

Hi onioneye Your themes are gorgeous and I’d like to purchase one. A quick couple of questions to help me decide which one: Can Omm or Kabuto have a single image/slider at the top of the homepage and the rest of the portfolio in masonary layout/ grid underneath? OR Which of your themes would I use to do something clean and simple like this filterable portfolio site www.room11.com.au? – needs to be WP 4.0, responsive etc.

thanks! susie

onioneye

Hi Susie,

thank you for your wonderful compliment about my work! :)

To answer your questions:

1) If you want to put the slider right above the portfolio in both themes, then you would need to add some very minor customizations. Namely, you would have to add the_content function to the portfolio template (up to just three lines of code), and then add a line or two of custom CSS code to let the space around the content breathe. This should be a really easy task for a freelancer.

2) I would say that any of my three latest themes should work for you. If asked to chose, I would go for Kabuto, since its layout is more similar to the example you showed me.

Have fun working with one of my themes, if you end up making the purchase!

Sincerely,

OnionEye

Hi onioneye.

You make really lovely themes. Just before I purchase – a question:

Is it possible with Omm or Kabuto (responsive) to have a slide show at the top of the homepage and the thumbnails for the rest of the portfolio underneath, similar to your Equilibrium theme? I’m trying to make something like this: www.room11.com.au

thanks! susie

onioneye

Hi Susie,

thanks again for such a wonderful compliment about my work! Appreciate it very much. :)

I am not sure if you are aware of it, but your last comment actually went through, so I answered your question there. It’s right above this comment, so please check it out.

Are animated GIFs usable as Featured Images on the homepage?

onioneye

Yes, as long as you use GIFs with the following dimensions: 600 × 600 (pixels). Any dimensions less than that should work as well.

Hi onioneye. I would like to by your nice theme but first I have some questions. First of all, I need to do something like this http://www.marcellobarison.com/ and I think that Omm theme is right. What do you think? And now some questions: 1) when portfolio appears in homepage it makes a movement from top left to bottom right. Is it possible to stop it? 2) is it possible to add some px of margin in the grid between images in a gallery of 6 images per row? 3) when clicking on an item of the gallery can I land in a single page without any portfolio below, but only with a picture and a description of it? That is, like in a simple, classic portfolio post?

Thank you

Silvia

onioneye

Hi Silvia,

thank you for taking an interest in the Omm theme! :)

The presented web site shares a lot of similarities with Omm, so I think you’re on the right track.

To answer your questions:

1) I am not quite sure what you mean by that? Care to explain further?

2, 3) This would certainly be possible, but some customization work would be needed, since the mentioned features are not available out of the box. A freelancer should be able to complete these tasks without a problem.

Sincerely,

Thank you for your kind answer. About the first problem, I thought that the theme is good as it gets. Thank you Silvia

onioneye

You are very much welcome, Silvia. Glad you think that about the theme! :)

HI, I would like to know if the portfolio item shows on main page by date? I want to set my latest post on top.

Thanks a lot!

Hi onioneye,

Thanks for helping, I searched support forum and found solution :D

onioneye

Great! Glad you found the solution. :)

Enjoy working with the rest of the theme,

OnionEye

I’m very disappointed with your support! Takes ages for your staff to reply (if they do)! Never happened before! And it’s not the first wp theme i buy.

onioneye

Hi there,

sorry to hear you are having problems with support.

This situation is very odd though because our customers are usually very satisfied with our support times. Can you please tell me if you got a response, and how long you’ve waited for it? It’s possible that the staff missed your ticket by accident, or that the support system misplaced it. Also, another possibility is that you haven’t gotten an email, which is supposed to notify you of a response, so please check the ticket again, to see if it has been replied to in the meantime.

By the way, have in mind that we usually provide replies within 24 hours on working days, and 48 hours over the weekend.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

OnionEye

onioneye

Hi Veronica,

your ticket has just been replied to, with clear instructions on how to fix your (minor) issue.

By the way, please have in mind that you posted your latest replies only yesterday, so staff was bound to solve your issue any moment. Therefore, even though I understand your frustration, I urge you to be more patient should a need for any further queries arise in the future.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Love the design. Is there demo content for easy setup?

onioneye

Hi there,

glad you love the design! :)

As far as your question goes, the demo content file comes packed with the theme, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Have fun working with the theme, if you end up buying it!

Sincerely,

OnionEye

Hello!

I just bought your theme and I have a few questions for you :)

1. How do I remove the Logo “shake” on desktop view and “slide” on the mobile view?

2. I would like to fix the left sidebar in place when in desktop view, but when i change the css positioning to “fixed” it stays put in mobile view also, and breaks the mobile view. I would like it to switch to the regular mobile layout you designed. any ideas?

Thanks so much for your help!

Cheers, Simon

Hi,

The logo size shown in IE and Chrome differs. It looks just alright in chrome but when it’s shown in IE, it is way too huge that it stretches into the images.

Great theme. Really fun to play with. One question from a noob.. Am I able to take the portfolio grid widget and use it in into the default 2014 theme? That way all of my portfolio stuff works with the 2014 theme? I’m using it for a website class and don’t want to make another portfolio with the same work just for the default theme.

Thanks! - johntreash.com

Hello, Am I safe to update to Wordpress 4.0.1? Also I installed WooCommerce but the Featured Image option isn’t working and some forums suggest this could be theme related? Is there a work around for this? Thanks
