No, everything will be the same but bbpress is more powerful, for example each user can have different role.

WOW I am so looking forward for this. as I was straggling with buddypress groups and forums settings up roles, I had to install few plugins to do exactly what I want.
Like Editor can create groups and subscribe cant create groups.
plus bbpress gives you that forum look, I really cant wait this is going to be so awesome .

In our community we need to add both: users photos and groups avatars. I read the FAQs. I know what the problem is. Is it possible to make all avatars (users and grops) square, or rectangular to solve the problem? If so, how do I do this?

I can’t make groups, users create groups all time. I know Horizontal group thumbnails look much better. I know BuddyPress 1.7 will be soon with major changes. Do You know somethig about new BP? I decide something after update.

I have a question before I want to buy this. Is there an option to get rid of the groups? I just want one forum to show subcategories, and in those categories will be topics. No groups.
Yes, but you have to install bbPress and it has different topics styling. I’ll provide aditional styling for bbPress plugin within 4-6 weeks.
You can setup main forum as your frontpage.
My site is not live yet I am using localhost/xamp but today I am unable to login to my admin screen. When I login it takes me to the home page. Any suggestions?
There can be many sources of this problem, search in google – wordpress can’t login
It doesn’t look like a buddypress issue, but try to remove buddypress folder – your database will stay untouched.
It looks like the problem is with bbpress. I reinstalled everything again and after installing bbpress if I log out of the admin panel and try to log back in it takes me automaticaly to home page. Any help would be appreciated.

Now another question. When I upload my avatar, and check it out, it’s in perfect condition.
When I look at the Avatar on the first page it is in really bad condition. “pixeled”.

I have a few problems, like “breakpoints” on the responsive side. There are “four” breakpoints. One makes the blog unreadable and such.

I will update it within 4-6 weeks. In the mean time use built-in BP forum and bbPress as a site-wide forum.
Royh1 my site uses both group and sitewide forums with this theme no problem. However I can’t seem to get the front page forum widget to work properly – it’s just a jumbled mess.
“My Recent Topics Widget” displays latest topics from built-in BP forums but there will be a big update very soon.

There can be many sources of this problem – duplicated Forums or Groups page, deactivated forums component. Generally this is not a theme issue.

1. Can you add “search” function within the Forum section so someone can search a particular topic or forum category? 2. Can you add “Login with Facebook/ Twitter” etc. ? 3. How much “content locking” is achievable with this theme? For instance, if i only want registered users/members to see certain things like ‘members’ or certain content that i want previewed only to members..

3. It works like a Default BP theme – you can hide specific groups + you can show some text for registered members using shortcode. You will find more powerful plugins and use it with my theme.

Is this meant to happen:
Seeing as we can’t add more menu tabs to the top right hand tiles, I thought I’d add a few images in the sidebar following the same style as the tiles.
Each time I add an image into the sidebar as a widget without a title, all other widgets are displayed below the main content. I’ve tried just using a single tap of the space bar as my title but this resizes the image.
Is there a way I could add the images without a title?

I don’t know it but if it works with 3rd party BP themes then it will work with my theme too. Anyway IMO it will work.

1. This is not a theme issue. I never had such problem so I don’t know how to help you. Does it work when Default BP theme is active?

In this situation there is no support and no access to new versions of theme.

I have a question, How do i get a categorie linked in to one of the tiles? I tried to copy the name of the slug in it but that doesn’t work. It does work with a page.
Another question, Shouldn’t i be able to asign a categorie to the blog template. Can’t seem to find it….

Proper slug must contain category word too – “category/title-of-category/”.
