@hollosch If it is good it, you have to edit the file “frontpage1.php” which is in the root of your folder theme and:
FIRST BACKUP THIS FILE “frontpage1.php”
after, edit:

Really enjoying the theme!
One issue:
- A profile avatar & group avatar are both set to the same height & width. - This squashes the profile avatar uploads in horizontally. - If I fix the code so the profile avatars are correct on upload, then the group avatars are stretch horizontally.
Any info would be appreciated.

I have uploaded the original functions.php (BP_AVATAR_FULL_WIDTH is set to 185px (185).
I have added the previous code into style.css.
The group avatars are fine, but profile avatars are still squished horizontally?
So now replace 125 for 185 in the functions.php

The group avatar is still stretched as it crops to a square & displays as a rectangle?
In buddypress you can crop user avatars and group avatars to 1 size only.
For anyone else who has this problem (should be most people), I just uploaded the group avatars manually and set the sizing correctly for profile avatar uploads.

Yes The blog page is created and the blog slug is there. So when you click on it, the blog page opens up. Now as a member, how do you start a post? or does this have to be done via wp-admin?
Also for forum posts, how do post images?

2. When a user writes something new in his specific group/forum does it automatically gets shown on the global forums page?

2. Yes.
Attachments plugin (attach to topics and replies) does not work with this theme. Developer says it only supports the bbpress forum plugin (new) and not buddypress group forum (old). Any suggestion?

Just realised when I put in ‘Spider-Man’ in the search box (upper right corner) there is nothing found although it is definitely there in one of the forums post.
So I just checked the advanced search page:
