You have a bug, with cross li.remove_frame a you will need to add position:absolute to it

ReneMerino

I will look up into it, thanks.

Really interested in this template, but I notice that the countdown works on all browsers except IE. I mean, it shows the numbers but the numbers don’t move. Could you please check that, I really want to buy this.

ReneMerino

Thank you for noticing that I’m checking on the issue, do you mind telling me what version of IE you see this issue?

Potosina

Sorry I forgot to tell you that the version I am having trouble to see the countdown is IE10 . I also see that your description says IE 7 ,8 and 9. I checked IE9 and works fine. Thank you for your prompt response.

ReneMerino

I haven’t checked it in IE10 will do is as soon as I can and fix the error…

How do you change the date for the Countdown?

ReneMerino

open scripts.js located in the js folder. Find the following code:

    dDay = new Date( 2013, 0, 1);

The format goes as follows: YEAR , MONTH, DAY

the month however is a little tricky as january is not 1 but 0, february 1, march 2 and so on.

Hi,

I just bought this theme and was wondering if there was a way to get the main flexslider at the top to not be responsive. The reason I ask is because the image that we need to use when being resized does not keep the focus where we would like it to be.

Thank you.

ReneMerino

You would like the whole slider not responsive or just the main image?

Is it just me or why am I not able to click on the submenu of ‘About—> ‘Features’. Everytime I try to catch one of these sub-links they disappear. As soon as I move my mouse away from ‘Features’. Is this a bug? Can you fix that please. Cause I really would love to buy your theme.

Tested it with Chrome 23 on a Win7 PC.

Best Regards.

ReneMerino

Hi, Thanks for your interest in buying this template, this is a css bug, I’m working on a fix and will be releasing an update soon…

Hi, I am trying to install this on Wordpress, but it does not work (I extracted the html.zip file and used that). (do I need to download some other files?) it gives a “style.css” not found error

Also, I tried to install it on Joomla, but there it says that the XML Setup file cannot be found.

Can you please shed some light on this? with what system/s is your template compatible? (the file I am using is themeforest-3303910-orcur-multipurpose-event-responsive-template.zip, which contains the PSD folder, the Documentation folder, as well as html.zip file)

cheers! waiting for a quick answer … we need to roll out our website asap :)

ReneMerino

Hi,

Hi! can you tell me with what kind of engine can I use it? or do I have to develop the back-code myself?

ReneMerino

This is an HTML template, so if you want to generate content dynamically you will have to develop the back-end yourself, or you could wait for the wordpress version thats coming out soon…

If I want to increase the height of the logo, and corresponding nav to match and stay centered vertically, what code would I need to edit for that purpose?

Currently the logo is 50 pixels tall and the nav too?

Thanks.

ReneMerino

Hey NWM,

Thanks for your purchase, to change the height of the logo you would need to edit the following code in the css file, header {}, #logo > a {}, nav {} and nav ul li {} currently is set to 50px height, also make sure you change the line-height.

NWM

Thanks for the response. So I would match the line height too then, correct?

ReneMerino

Default-user

Default-user

Tried using IE 7,8 and 9, Firefox, Safari and even Android 4.0 tablet using Chrome and it works fine. Only the desktop Chrome doesn’t count down.

ReneMerino

ReneMerino

Issue has been resolved, please download upodated version

Default-user

Thank you. Instead of replacing the whole theme, I just replaced jquery.countdown.min.js. I guess they have a newer version out.

I fixed the Countdown Chrome issue BTW. You just need a new version of the Countdown JS http://keith-wood.name/countdown.html
ReneMerino

Thanks @tonytiger for pointing this out, I found this was the issue as well, updating to the new version. Check the Changelog to download the fix version along with some header fixes
