great job
Thank you
Stupid question… why did you use Chicago in the address. Just Curious! Thanks.
Hi How to install contact form? Where add my email address?
Hi
The templates contact form actually send the client data (Name, Email, Message from users web browser) to specified server page (i.e php script). But currently you should setup your own server side script to send emails.
How come the font’s were not included…?
Due to copyright issues i can not redistribute font files with my template. But preparing fonts are fully described in documentation (please refer to JavaScript section of the document).
Can you explain the contact form further please and how to make it work… I don’t understand your answer above to WronaStudio regarding this.
Needless to say I bought this template believing the contact form would work after installation as part of the template.
You also have inconsistencies in the file structure and then references to files which I had to correct as a result of the use of captial letters.
Otherwise great.
I look forward to hearing from you – many thanks.
As you may know server script (script that receive the client message on the web server and send the actual email or store that message in database for later review) isn’t part of normal HTML template here. But i respect my customers needs and I’m in process of creating scripts necessary to make server side email sender to work and I’ll update the template to reflect the changes.
Also template files are fully tested in windows 2008 server (IIS7) and several web browsers and i did not noticed any problems regarding file naming but I’ll defiantly check it on other web servers too.
Thanks for purchasing my template and your constructive feedback.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated – I look forward to the update.
Great instructions regarding the fonts in the documentation btw.
Are the used background images copyrighted or free for use?
Background images are free for personal use only.
contact form does not work:
fatal error while trying to execute /home/www/pxxxxxxx/html/contact.php No such file or directory
Please test this on Apache (not only IIS ), especially the references to files because of capital letters and the URL in ajax form is false.
Thanks for your helpful comment, I’ll fix problems you mentioned soon.
Hi,
Just purchased this and uploaded it. Error I get when trying to run the config script is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in config.php on line 63
Can you advise?
Hello, I think you’re using PHP 4 (or below) which currently is not supported. If possible, you should update your PHP to version 5.
I’m having the same problem as @different_light and I have confirmed that HostGator is using PHP : 5.2.4 but my error shows a different line number
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in [...]/config.php on line 77
It’s not the same error. If possible, please email us your server details to further inverstigate the problem.
Hi,
This things displays fine in my browser when loaded locally. However, it completely falls apart when uploaded to our server and viewed. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanx
Checked out all the possibilities, we’re running PHP 5 + and everything else we install on our sites using PHP and JS works flawlessly.
Buyers beware: This product appears to SUCK . Normally, as power buyers, we’d request a refund—but it’s chump change in this case and you can keep it.
Take care.
Hi, same problem here:
http://www.acclife.com.tw/parked/config.php
It’s installed in this folder: http://www.acclife.com.tw/parked/
CSS is somehow wrong and the two php-scripts do not seem to work.
Please advice on what’s wrong with your great looking website script
Thanks Thomas
@cavalorn
Yep, that’s exactly what we see on our server as well. Let us know if you get any help or find a solution?
Cheers!
I checked it now on two servers, same issue…
Some help would be appreciated!
PixFlow, you should say that the page is tested only on Windows servers, I use 3 hosting servers (LAMP) and I have real problems making this work.
The first most important thing you should always remember: don’t use capital letter on files, and if you do it, take care to use the same form in the code also.
I have bought the template to make a quick under construction page. now I am sorry, in the time spent trying to prepare the page I could make a really nice one an put it also here for sale.
This is a lesson for everyone after all. Sorry mate
Ditto.
Hello. It seems cool template. Why don’t you use Webservice for AJAX request ? I think web service enables other users that using other web server technologies to use this template. Regards.
@deej: I would appreciate it if you could send an email through my profile to get your problem solved before you say those things about this template. I’m always here to help.
@cavalorn: sorry for your inconvenience, I’ll update the theme to address the issue.
@webstrateg: You’re right, that was my mistake. I didn’t know that when i created it, i’ll correct it in next update. But like i said you could email me and get your problem solved without any further effort from your side, i would be more than happy to help you out.
@shahoon: thanks for your suggestion, i appreciate it
@PixFlow: I sent you an email but received no response. Anyway, I hope to see an update here soon that corrects the problem—since several others are obviously having the same exact legitimate issues with this product. Thanks.
