oh, you use it on front page. Sure it won’t work.
As you can see, there are so many custom loops ( categories ) in front page, there is no point to have a pagination there. Which category you suppose to use for the second page? Thats why I didn’t put a pagination on front page but only for archive pages.

I’m looking into purchasing this theme, but I have a question about ad space. Is there ad space for a horizontal banner that is above the menu bar?
Also, is the sidebar (where the navigation, flicker and user link feed is) widget ready? Would I be able to add a HTML widget in this area?

As you can see, the area above menu is not enough space ( for now ) for a horizontal banner ( 728px X 90px or 468px X 60px ).
But if you really want it to fit in, I can customize for you. Let me know.
PS: Remember, you may reduce the logo size too.

Use the ‘include’ or ‘exclude’ to control the category you want / don want to show.
Disqus commenting system won’t work, why?

When activating disqus commenting system, the homepage disappears and seems to be loading. But it never shows up again.

Hi—This theme does not appear to be compatible with an extremely popular Sharing plugin called Share and Follow (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/share-and-follow/). It is actually the first theme I’ve seen with a conflict here.
Any suggestions?

Okay I got it—You need to select the “img” tag (rather than CSS ) in the Share and Follow admin options, which is NOT the default.

Hi Susana,
You can first backup your database and current theme. You can export the data to xml file, then download a copy of your current theme.
Then, upload the new theme and activate. It shouldn’t have any problem as I re-used most of the custom value. But something you may need to change is the menu ( if you want to use the new menu feature ), flickr and twitter widget.
Keep in mind, make sure you DO NOT have wp-pagenavi and flickr plugin activated.

one more problem, I use AdRotate to show banners in my posts, in the beginning I something like that “[adrotate group=”4” banner=”14”]” but in the excerpt of posts in frontpage show some text included in adrotate banner.
is possible to remove ‘[adrotate group=”4” banner=”14”]’ from the excerpt in frontpages?
Hi Susana, I am not sure how your plugin works. But what you can do is insert the excerpt into the excerpt field. Can you try that?
Yes, if I use the excerpt field it works, but I have to change hundreds of posts and not take advantage of the automatic size of excerpt, because in the archive pages happens the same. It includes the AdRotate text in the excerpt.
One example of one excerpt that show text from adRotator
“Newsletter Manias da BelezaInscreve-te na Newsletter e recebe via mail um vale de desconto de 15€ na Email:” [This text between ”” is included because is configurated in AdRotator and apeears because I have [adrotate group….] in the begginning of the post]

is not possible to configure, we put the tag [adrotate …] in the middle of the text where we want to aapear in the post, that is in the begginning of the post, but will be great if we can that appear only in the single post page

ty for replying! when i try to upload the theme to my wordpress dashboard, it failed. it asked me to repeat the steps and i did that and still nothing happened.
and when i check my theme dashboard is not there, meaning is never uploaded. BUT it is on my hardware already it just not go into wordpress.

kailoon, all went good so far with my blog i just need to reorganize my tags and categories to maximize the presentation of the blog.
my question is to change the blog logo currently is your theme logo. do i need to drop my own logo through FTP again? is there any short way to do it, i think my FTP file is a bit messy tough the theme work just fine on my blog …lol.

You an upload your logo via the wordpress media upload.
In dashboard, goto Media > Add New. Then choose the logo and upload. After that, copy the image url.
Then goto the theme settings page, insert the url to the logo text field, save.

Hi, when you are in post editor, you can see a custom write panel named ‘HEADLINE IMAGE IN FRONT PAGE ’. There, you can insert the image url but you need to make sure it is bigger than 600px X 300px.
If you do not insert anything, you can set the featured image ( can be found on the same page, on the right of the page ). Or, if you do not set it. The first image of the post will be used. But still, the size have to be bigger than 600px X 300px so it will not look blur.

Kailoon it is me again! by mistake i upgrade my wordpress to 3.01, and everything broken now. is there anyway you can help me?

It shouldn’t have any problem to upgrade your WordPress to the latest version. Because even the live preview is running on the latest version of WordPress.
May I know what is the error?
based on the info given by BlueHost support it is due to one of the Clear Cache plugins. I enable it for auto clear cache. When i did that, WP did not allow me to create new post.
We found out about this after they told me that our magazine theme is not compatible for WP 3 .01.
Now the theme is broken, i did not know what happened. I actually give them the password and user id for my wordpress. and they help me fix the problem inside my WP.
this is the current message from WP error:
Name Description documentation Stylesheet is missing. Fashion Peal Stylesheet is missing. Licensing Stylesheet is missing. PSD Stylesheet is missing. __MACOSX Stylesheet is missing.
Obviously those errors are not come from my theme… Because those are not my files…
And I have to say, this theme is compatible with WordPress 3.01. Because I just did the upgrade few days ago via the normal WordPress auto upgrade.

I suggest you try to re-install the wordpress and upload the theme again.

The previos version is good with WP 3 .0.
The new version has a lot of changes in the core functions and the entire framework ( which I will be using for long term ). Even the file structures has been changed. But if you do not modify much of the functions, it should be OK.
Try to download it and test it, make sure you backup your current theme.

I had a quick question about posting videos for the main display page.
I notice in the demo when you post in the video category, you are able to include text in the post and avoid this text from being displayed on the video widget of the index page.

You create a video post, just like a normal post. But the video embed code, you need to inset into the “VIDEO POST ” in the post edit page, below the post edit area.
The video will automatically resized and loaded infront page and single post page.

I’m having a hard time getting the main page navigation to work as a drop down menu and a little confused as to whether or not the default design you have created allows it. (The design is great, BTW ).
I am using “Our Magazine 3.0”. I am running on WP v 3.0.
I have defined parent and child categories through the normal WP dashboard when creating the pages and tried to use the custom menu option, expecting to see a place to create the drop down menu but wasn’t able to find it. That’s if the theme is supposed to facilitate a drop down.
I have done some alterations to the CSS , using negative margins and negative z-index. But it has not worked for me even before I started styling the aesthetics of your design.

Right column? You mean in the sidebar? It use the same video code. To make it appear in sidebar, simply check the option in theme settings > Video > Enable Video Section ( Sidebar )
