Hello. We are once again trying to make the video bar on the sidebar of the 1st page appear. We have received your note & checked that, yes, this enable video selection is checked. In fact , the video bar appears on the sidebar in the other pages of the website except the 1st page.

Ok, when I am building this theme. I think I should take care of the SEO too where I try to minimize duplicate content, especially on front page. So, since there is a video section on front page, I am not going to have the same video in sidebar again. I think this make sense, no?

I, havving some problems dealing with the tabs sections. Is there any tutorial of this theme in order to configure the right way this tabs and other secctions like the video slider?.

Can you disable all plugins first, seems like your plugins had overwrite some codes.
Hi Kalioon, all the plugins are disable and still display incorrect, its got to be configuration problem that I’m doing wrong. Do you have some screen shot of the configuration from the themeforest preview layout, the one that you see here to buy the theme. That is exactly what I need. Thanks
As I can see, you only have 1 post so far, you need to create more posts and assign to different categories to have a better look of the theme since this is a content rich theme.
As for the tabs, I think there is a js conflict. You are using my latest theme version, right?
You can email the wp admin access to me, I need to take a look. I think it is not the configuration problem because the settings is very straight forward and easy

- Can de sidebar middle Ads be located differently, like not exactly under the 300 px one, for ex. in this order:
- 300 px Ad - Search Bar - Twitter feed - 125 px Ads
- Is there a way to open up new advertising spaces? like at the top and then at the middle of the center column? any plug-in recomended?

1) to change the order of the sidebar, it is easy. Since the twitter and flickr is widget, what can be done is to move the 125ad below the widget area.
2) If you want, I can do it for you. So far, I don’t know there is any plugin allow you to add ad space in anywhere you want in a theme.
Again, if you need me to make the changes for you, try to contact my via my profile page. It is just a simple change.

Try to de-active all those plugins first before you activate the new theme.
Ok I can’t access the back office at all, I just remove the “all in one seo” plugin that was also giving some errors, but the other one is a little bit more complicate it. Is there any other way to access the back office. All I got is a blank page with the errors.
Other thing is that I just only update manually the files that were updated, not all the theme’s files.
Do you have your prev theme backup? If you did, you can try to upload the new theme, fresh. And see whether you still getting the error. Because I’ve test it with the plugins you are using, I don’t get any error.
If you don’t have the backup, don’t panic, send me your url and wp access. Let me have a look. I think you did some modification of the theme, right?
Nope I just upload the file of the theme that were updated and that’s it I loaded tne page next and then the white page came up.
Since you didn’t modify the theme, can you upload the new theme? And see whether it is working? Then I can check the problem, ok?
Thanks, I sent already you login info just search you email with my name and it should be there. I deactivate the wp-mingle plungin and everything went back to normal. I guess that they haven’t update the plugin to WP 3 .04 yet. But check it out anyways maybe you can find something that I can’t see at this moment.

So means that this theme is working fine but just that the plugin is not compatible with the latest version of wp.

We just purchased this theme but we’re having trouble getting it to install. We can run through the install via Install Themes > Upload just fine, but as soon as we activate the theme all admin functionality is white screened. I suspect the problem is that we’re not being shown the theme options page, as suggested in your documentation. Rather than being redirected, we’re shown a page with the following:
Installing Theme from uploaded file: magazine.zip Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… Theme installed successfully. Actions: Preview | Activate | Return to Themes pageOnce we activate, I can see the user-facing (non-admin) version of the site and it is in the expected Our Magazine theme, but with no content. This is when the whole admin side of things refuses to render.
I also tried installing manually by copying the theme folder directly into wp-content/themes, but encountered the same exact issues.
Any suggestions? I poked back through a couple pages of comments but didn’t see anything that looks like this issue. Thanks in advance for any pointers…

In case anyone else is having a similar issue, this has nothing to do with kailoon’s theme. Rather, it was a 500 error related to curl being unavailable. It wasn’t totally obvious that’s what was happening as the error wasn’t getting dumped to the Apache logs. Things were great as soon as curl was installed.
Yeah, I was surprised things didn’t work… This is the first theme I’ve had this sort of trouble with.

This theme is conflicting with the Firefox version 3.6. If you preview it in firefox, everything is appearing in boldface. Can you fix this?

Nevermind, I fixed it. Just had to change the text attributes.
I just installed Wordpress 3.2.1 and the Magazine Theme. But there is a bug in a function called curl_init() which stalls everything. I need quick support on this please.
Actually, that’s not a bug. It is used to display the RSS counter, sometimes, it is disabled by your web hosting, but in order to utilize the RSS counter in text feature, you can ask your service provider to enable it.

Hi Kailoon, first, thanks for creating this theme. I just purchased it and am in the process of setting it up. Before I turn on the Timthumb feature, I wanted to ask you if it’s the latest version. In checking with Bluehost to see if I can use it, I found this documentation that recommended the latest version be used as “versions 1.10 – 1.34 contain an error that allows an attacker to insert PHP code into the site where it is running”. I’d advice not to use the timthumb script even though it is the latest version. Further, this theme fully utilize the wordpress featured image option. So, you will not have problem to resize images automatically.
But if you need to use the timthumb script, you can simply upload the latest version and replace it. I forgot to update the script last time because not many users (of this theme) is using the timthumb script.
