I’m thinking of purchasing this theme and have a couple quick questions.

Can you share any examples of live websites using the theme?

With language customization, we want to do English and Chinese. Will this be easy to do? (i.e. adding an icon for Chinese) I didn’t see language options in the demo control panel. I take it that product pages and other content areas will have dual input areas for Language 1 and Language 2, correct?

Sincere thanks for your help.

Hi batboy111,

The sample stores using our theme:
http://highermindsheadshop.co.uk/
http://beachhousedesigns.net/
http://fasterway.com.br/loja/
http://wazabiz.fr/
http://yogashmoga.co.za/
http://bmjrmodels.com/
http://anideato.com/
http://stenska-nalepka.si/

The theme admin panel has support for multilanguage. Just add your language ( http://docs.opencart.com/display/opencart/Localisation+%3A%3A+Language ) and will appear in the theme admin panel.

Best Regards

I do apologise if this is an idiot question i’m new to all this good stuff!

I’m struggling to get the revolution slider to work, I have edited the OXY Custom Content Manager as it says in the documentation and I’ve uploaded the slider but nothings coming up for me, I looked into the documentation for the rev slider itself and my brain went numb as none of it made much sense to me, I’m guessing I’ve done something very stupid and easily fixed but for the life of me I can’t see what it is.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is there a blog tab provided for the theme ? if no can i add any blog extension to the theme ?

Thanks

321cart

Hi vks_agra, OXY theme includes support for the Blog Manager extension. At the moment, this is the most popular and the best blog extension for OpenCart. See demo: http://321cart.com/oxy/index.php?route=blog/category&category_id=3 . Best Regards

And how can i integrate it? will I have to purchase it separately or it comes with the theme?

The Blog Manager extension is not included with OXY. You can buy this extension here: http://www.echothemes.com/extensions/blog-manager.html

Great Theme! – When a product is added to the cart a popup box appears saying “Success: You have added…”

1. Is it possible to not show this box or 2. Can the box disappear are a period of time – at moment the customer must click the X to make the box go away.

Thanks

Hi shafiqphp, Looks like your theme installed fine. You just need to follow the documentation to set image sizes, module positions and configure your theme options. You will find most of the theme options and settings in:

modules/OXY Theme Control Panel

If you follow the documentation, you can set it up in 10 minutes…

I need to use this theme on a multi-store (2 stores actually). This means I want to have different customization for each store. Is that possible? Again, I noticed that I have no way to permanently save the changes I made to the theme. While experimenting, I found that if I load a different preset theme I lose all my previous changes. How do I prevent that? Thanks.

321cart

Hello Purpletriangle, 1. You can use the multistore feature, but with the same theme settings for each store. 2. Unfortunately, you can’t prevent it. If you load and save the settings of the selected skin, the previous settings will be overwritten. Best Regards

Good morning,

I saw in the details that Oxy is built on Zurb’s Foundation framework.

I’m wondering which version of Foundation you are referring to and if you are also using SASS or just regular CSS.

Best regards,

Joost

Good morning, Joost. OXY is built on Foundation 3 (regular CSS). Best Regards

Hello,

I am working on a store front for my job and we bought this theme and love it. We would like for the price to automatically/live update after a customer has chosen different options. We bought an extension that works with qvmod but I cant get it to work. Is there a workaround for this? Is there a way to make the extension work within the theme or a line of code I can insert somewhere?

Dear Sir,

I would like your OXY theme of opencart. In your demo, the main page slider have some layers for words and images. But in your admin demo, I cannot find how to control words and images layer in slider. Would you mind tell me can it support slider layer for adding images and words?

2. I want to remove cart, QTY, compare and wishlist in frontend. How can we remove these function? But I want keep the price

Best Regard Kitty

321cart

Hello Kitty, 1. In the documentation (the Revolution Slider Documentation folder), you will find instructions to create your own slides. Also, in the theme documentation, you will find the code of our main slider. 2. Unfortunately, it’s not possible via the theme admin panel. The best way is to look for a suitable extension on the OpenCart extensions page. Best Regards

Good afternoon,

I’ve just purchased your theme and have just installed it. When checking the sizes of the files, I noticed that /catalog/view/theme/oxy/image is really big.

Everytime I make a backup of the opencart folders, also all the images included in this folders are backupped. Especially the /help and /patterns folder are using a lot of space.

Can you tell me which folders I can delete from my installation to reduce the total file size?

My other question is about the Foundation framework. In Foundation 3 all .css files are put in the head and .js is put near the body closing tag.

In the Oxy theme a lot of .js are however put in the head. This is generally bad for performance reasons. Also a lot of css-code is in the html document itself. What is the reason this is done?

Good day. I bought this theme recently and would like to know how to add more custom payment images at the bottom. At the moment I think it only allows one custom image, in addition to the built-in ones (Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, etc). I would like to add the images of my local banks to the bottom of the page.

no probs, i did send another 2 but did it via the ticket system instead. Thanks for your help – A+ Theme

I purchased Oxy theme a while ago and it’s was quite easy to customize it, though I had to make some edits in CSS and HTML to better suit my needs. In general I would say the theme worth it’s money, but IMO some improvements need to be done in respect to UX and conversion. For example Add to cart buttons in compare page don’t have “exclusive” CSS class, etc.

Also, I found an important “bug” – Compare (oxy/index.php?route=product/compare) page is not responsive even with default limitation of 4 products. Hope 321cart will fix this quite soon. It would be great if they would make responsive design without limitation to number of products, to make the theme compatible with many good modules that make it possible to add to comparison more then 4 products.

In general, I would still recommend using Oxy theme!

P.S. Can you please suggest me some good responsive blog module that would integrate easily with Oxy theme?

321cart

Hello Nikita_S, Thank you for your comment. OXY theme includes support for the Blog Manager extension. At the moment, this is the most popular and the best blog extension for OpenCart. The compare page in OpenCart is built on an advanced table and unfortunately can’t be responsive, since the tables don’t behave in the same way as other elements on a page. For example, they will require a minimum width, depending on their content. Best Regards

Default-user

Thank you! It would be nice to see a list of modules (at least most popular ones) compatible with Oxy theme “out of the box” on description page (may be it would even increase sales :)).

Talking about compare page, I do understand that it’s because of the standard HTML “table”, but I saw it done in some OpenCart theme. Probably it can be done with divs. When the page was viewed on small sreen table collapsed to show a list in a way:
Product 1
Product 2
Product 3
Attribute 1 Name
Attribute 1 value for Product 1
Attribute 1 value for Product 2
Attribute 1 value for Product 3
Attribute 2 Name
Attribute 2 value for Product 1
Attribute 2 value for Product 2
Attribute 2 value for Product 3
etc…

Also possible solution is to display standard HTML table in frame, so that page would fit the screen well and only compare table would have scroll bar.
