hi, how do you get the favicon to work? I added the url in the admin panel and it is not working. I tried the full url and also just /favicon.ico and it is still not working. I did upload the favicon file to the root of the site.
Am i missing something?
That should do the trick – have you tried a gif instead? Send me your site URL if that doesn’t work and I can check it out

Just finished answering well over 100 questions yesterday, but there’s always a chance that some of them fall through the cracks. 
Title Cutoff.
I am having a bit of a problem with the title cutting off on the post. I have looked around but not been able to determine what to adjust for this.
Can someone assist with how to have the entire post title display. Much appreciated in advance.

Thank you so much for this great theme and your quick, efficient responses to everyone. Your theme is working so well for our purposes, but I have ran into a little issue.
After many different tries, I cannot get my images to load in the scroller correctly. First they were too big, but after I scaled them down, they are off center in the box. It just looks a little funky. I’ve tried duplicating the code, but inserting the right URLs and I’ve tried just uploading from the media library. I think the issue is the small image URL that is supposed to go in the img src tag, but I don’t know how that URL is different from the original image URL .
Sorry if these questions sound silly. I’m looking forward to getting past this part quickly enough. Thank you!!!

This is a follow up to the Title being cut off. I know I’m not the only person experiencing this and hoping to have some assistance. Anyone?
The of a post if it is to long gets Cutoff. I would like to switch this to display two lines if necessary for the title. Can someone assist with how to have the entire post title display.
For those of you who are having trouble with your ADS ? Like WP!@% not working properly, use the ‘Ad Squares’ plug-in. It works perfectly and I like it much better than the others.

Hi Straydog – this might not be possible since most of the updates actually have to do with the core structure and styles… I’d recommend making a backup of your existing theme folder, then do an overwrite with the new one – that way you can always revert it you need to.

I figured out the issue with the update – the drop-down items are not working. Basically the submenu appears as plain text blow the nav bar and pushes the slider off to the right.
The drop down for SUBSCRIBE works….funny enough but all others don’t.

As for 3.0 – it’s tough to say – I’m running 3.0 right now and the site’s working fine for me, so it might have something to do with the modifications that you’ve made. I’m pretty sure Wordpress has an option to downgrade to 2.9.2 though, so I’d look into that

Thanks Brandon, It was simple, just modified the comment_date() and comment_time() on comments.php by comments_date(‘j F, Y’) and comments_time(‘G:i’)... Although I think Wordpress should do this automatically, isn’t it?

I’m also wondering whether this theme uses WP’s thumbnail feature. I’d like to display thumbnails on the front page and full-sized images on single post pages.

Yes, the images in the lightbox can be linked to a specific post – it’s all just plain HTML links, so you can pretty much link to whatever you want.
The answer for the WP thumbnails is no at the moment – but I’ll be glad to refer you to a tutorial that would help you figure this out (It’s actually quite easy).
