Hello, thank you for this template. I´d like to know how to add another parallax section. Or, for example, put a background to the about section, with the same effects of the one in the contact section. Thank you.

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

A parallax section needs to have this layout:

<section class="parallax-section" id="sectionid">
    <div class="darker-overlay">
        <section class="centered-wrapper">
            here comes the content
        </section>
    </div>
</section>

You need to add to it an ID. Then, in style.css, add a background image to the ID:

#sectionid {
    background:url(images/new-parallax-bg.jpg) 50% 0 repeat-y fixed;
}

That`s it.

Thank you!

Hi, thanks for your quick answer! I was doing it right, i think i´m having some problem with chrome, because on safari works fine. I have another question: i want to add the fields “country” and “phone number” to my contact form. how do i make them work on the php document? Thanks again!

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

Adding extra fields to the contact form is very tricky, because you not only need to add them to the index.html file, but also you need to match the new fields in “js/jquery.contact.js” and also to add the new fields in “php/contact.php”. This sounds more like custom work. If you need some, just go ahead and try http://www.microlancer.com/

Thank you!

This Patti template still does not seem to work with ie8. The internet explorer 8 simulator that you use must not be working correctly. In fact your theme does not work either when viewing in ie8. None of the paragraph text shows up for me or the contact form or the image gallery still.

I replaced the current “js/modernizr.js” and “js/custom.js” with the new files from a newly downloaded package as instructed but the site still does not work in ie8. Let me know if there is any other update I would need that would help remedy this problem I would appreciate it.

Here are some pics of how your template shows up on ie8 browser: some_textie8 incompatible example 1 some_textie8 incompatible example 2 some_textie8 incompatible example 3

Hi,

Thanks for all the screenshots. Ok, please try to remove the current classes of the divs which send to animations. For example, from this bunch of code, remove box fadeInDown>

<div class="percent-one-third box fadeInDown">
    <h2 class="bold-style">WE DELIVER.</h2>
    <p>Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo inventore.</p>
</div>

Let me know if this changes something.

Thank you!

Pre-purchase question. Are the social sharing buttons on posts only available in the WordPress version? Or do they work in the html theme as well?

Cheers, Brian

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in my item. They`re currently implemented only in the WordPress version. If you want to take advantage of the whole blogging experience that my item has to offer, WordPress is the right way. The layouts in HTML version are just for showcasing what the template can do, but the functionality like comments can`t be possible without a database in the back-end, which is available via WordPress.

Thank you!

Hello! I noticed when looking at this website on an iphone the navigation menu is not scrolling to reveal the additional links. Is there a fix for this?

http://jaysullivan.net/web/move/

Thank you!

DeliciousThemes

The issue can be fixed with a bit of css:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px)
ul#mainnav li a {
    float: left;
}
}

Let me know if it works!

Thanks!

Don`t mention it! :)

I just wanted to comment on the fast replies from Delicious Themes. The support has been outstanding for any issue that has come up for me. I would recommend Delicious Themes to anyone!! Thank you so much!

Thank you, thank you! I really appreciate it! :)

Hi, This template is exactly what I am looking for, and I am going to buy it for my own webpage! I have only one (two) question: I have looked through all comments (amazing response!), and if I got it right, there are some small bug fix that you are going to make for the next update. Is this correct, and if so, when will the update be published?

Got it, really good documentation and clean code :) Can´t wait until my site is up…

I`m glad to hear that! :) If you ever have questions/issues related to my item, don`t hesitate to contact me!

Hi. Great theme. QQ. How do I apply the same transition applied to the menu items to the logo (ie. so it acts the same as #hello menu item with the initial class assigned). I’ve got it so that it navigates inline but it doesn’t scroll through all the sections as the other menu items do, it just pops immediately to the top).

Default-user

Here is a link to my site http://www.amidewar.com/ (sorry work in progress) I’ve kinda hacked it to make it work – not sure it was the most straight forward way so I’m open to any suggestions. It seems that 1. you need to have a menu item pointing to #hello in order for the one page menu to work? I put it in there and then hid it. As soon as I removed it in lieu of the logo I got odd behavior 2. to make the logo get the smooth upward scrolling I had to piggy back onto the “totop” jquery function. Was there another way to do this?

DeliciousThemes

Wow, what a dramatic change! I like what I see. Good job!

So, the thing with the menu is like this: in order to have a menu item to slide back to the top of the page, you need to link it to #hello. The “hello” id was especially created for that. It`s an ID, placed above all of the content, including the slider.

As for the logo, your solution is the best you could find.

Thanks!

Great. Thanks.

Great template and customer support is fantastic. Asked two questions and received very quick responses each time.

DeliciousThemes

Thank you for your very positive feedback! :) I appreciate it!

Hi, I’ve noticed one small bug. When you enter external page, for example: EXTRA > ELEMENTS and then click CONTACT. You’re going back to main page but on the blog section. Is there a fix for that? Thank you.

DeliciousThemes

You need to change the twitter username from js/custom.js from mine, to yours. Look for “deliciousthemes” inside the file.

Thank you!

Default-user

:) of course. Bad memory. Thank you.

Any luck finding the FF bug mentioned above?

DeliciousThemes

I think that Firefox has a problem regarding the timing of my script`s load. Firefox loads the page after the script, creating section inconsistencies on the website.

Hi there, I am using Google Chrome for Mac, version 33.0.1750.152 and running running OSX 10.9.2

I cannot get any of the animations to work. This is both with my modified index file, as well as the pre-installed version that came with the template. Yet when I run the page on Safari it works.

Would you mind taking a look at the index template and seeing if you can get it to run animations?

Thanks in advance.

Please contact me via my profile contact form so we can speak more about your issue.

Thank you!

I’m purchasing this theme. I noticed your support to your customers is top-notch. And that is the main reason besides it being a beautiful theme.

I`m glad to hear that! :) I appreciate it!

Hi there,

First of all: I am loving your theme! This is what I have made from it: http://www.smaac.nl/clients/KPMG/

Second thing, I have got some questions:

1. I don’t want the caption of the full screen banner to be centered, but a little bit higher, this is what I have made from it now: <li data-transition="fade" data-slotamount="15" data-masterspeed="300"> <img src="images/slide444.jpg" alt="" /> <!-- THE CAPTIONS IN THIS SLIDE --> <div class="caption tp-resizeme big-text lft ltt" data-x="center" data-y="top" data-speed="300" data-start="500" data-easing="easeOutExpo"> <h1>Prinsjesdagontbijt 2014</h1> <div class="fancy-caption" style="width: 350px"> <div class="fancy-slider-info">17 September 2014</div> </div> <br /> <div class="fancy-slider-caption">Met een krul van de meester</div> </div> </li> But I still want the caption a little higher, can u help me out?

2. How can I set the quotes and the twitter feed section to loop automatically?

3. In the Twitterfeed; when u clicking on #PDONTBIJT (the second slide on my twitter feed) u see the following error:

The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.

How to fix this?

Thanks in advance

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

Thank you for using my template for your project. I like what you did with it!

Regarding your questions:

1. I already saw that you used the data-x and data-y attributes for the caption. This is how you can move it around the slide.

2. You can make those sliders to loop automatically in js/custom.js, by adding a new parameter to the functions called “autoPlay”. Something like so:

    $("#owl-testimonials").owlCarousel({
        autoHeight : true,
        singleItem : true,
        autoPlay: 5000,
        navigation:true,
        slideSpeed : 1000
    });

Specify the value in milliseconds.

3. Try this hack: open “twitter/lib/tmhUtilities.php” and locate:

case 'hashtags':
  $href = "<a href="\"https://twitter.com/search?q=%23{$value['text']}\"{$target}">#{$value['text']}</a>";
break;

Replace “https://twitter.com/search” with “https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json” .

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you!

RuudBergen

Thanks!! The first & second problems are solved now! Thanks :)

The third problem with the hashtags is still there… This is what i made from it:

switch ($type) {
          case 'hashtags':
            $href = "<a href="\"https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json?q=%23{$value['text']}\"{$target}">#{$value['text']}</a>";
            break;
This was the original code:
        switch ($type) {
          case 'hashtags':
            $href = "<a href="\"https://twitter.com/search?q=%23{$value['text']}\"{$target}">#{$value['text']}</a>";
            break;

Can u help me out?

Grtz

DeliciousThemes

Please replace your current “twitter/jquery.tweet.min.js” file content with this new one: http://pastebin.com/EVzrj7x5

I tested it and it works fine. My initial fix was half correct. There were needed another change in the js file.

Let me know if it works!

Thank you!

Thanks for the theme, nice work. It may not be exactly the theme question, but when using the tabs (from elements.html) is it possible to display three divs located in different places of the page by clicking on a tab. Thanks..

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

The tabs don`t have a memory, so I don`t think that you can link content from one tab to another tab.

Default-user

hi, I don’t think i explained myself very well. Please go to http://boils.ca/29/index.html#work, you’ll see the first tab (CANADA 1) open, and there is a link there: TEST LINK TO TAB 2. I’m using <a href="#tab2"></a> for that link, simply trying to go to tab 2 (CANADA 2), but nothing happens.

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

Tabs are controlled by a function, named pattitabs() located in js/custom.js.

In order to make an external link to jump from a tab to another needs extra functionality added inside the tabs function or separately, in another function. That`s how I see things.

Thank you!

If this is simple and I missed it, I apologize, but I am trying to figure out if it is possible to have two “boxes” right next to each other. For example, the div class=”percent-one-third box” but instead of one-third only having one-half. I would like to have two h2 + text elements side by side on the theme, but it seems to not work unless you use one-third. Am I missing something?

By the way, great theme!

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

You have to use the “column-last” too for the last column in order to have the last column without right margin. So, the class should be “percent-one-third column-last”.

Thank you!

Thanks for the help, great customer support!

Hi,

Huge work with this theme ! I have a question about the header : I just want to totally remove it (so no menu, just the background in fullscreen). I have succeeded in remove the menu and logo from the theme, but there is a white bar that persists at the top of the screen, and no way to remove it, even looking in the source code.

Could you help me please ? Thank you !

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

You can use the no-header mode for the header. Instead of:

<header id="header" class="solid-header">

Use:

<header id="header" class="no-header">

Second option is to remove the whole header, if you wish. This is the code you need to remove: http://pastebin.com/0N6vnaA2

Thank you!

Default-user

Yesss ! Thank you so much :)

DeliciousThemes

You`re welcome! :)

Hello

My website is coming along great, the customizable options are fantastic and I love the responsive design.

How ever, my custom.js doesn’t seem to load (inspect element shows that only style.css is sourced!), and because of this, my skill bars and other animations do not work.

How can I fix this? Thank you

Default-user

Also, when I click a location “ABOUT ME” or “WORK” in my header navigation, instead of the page sliding down, it kind of just POPS into the ABOUT section. (No slide down!)

Default-user

Weird, it worked when I added the “google maps” part BACK into my footer. I guess I’ll keep it there!

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

If you remove the map HTML code, you`ll generate a series of JavaScript errors. Make sure that after you remove the HTML code, you remove the 2 lines from the bottom of the html file which load the google map scripts:

<!-- GOOGLE MAPS -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/custom-map.js"></script>

Afterwards, you shouldn`t have any problem.

Thank you!

Hi there,

A pre purchase question. I have seen there is a wordpress template available, does it mean this one is a joomla 3.x compatible version?.

Thanks.

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

“Patti – Parallax One Page HTML Template” is an HTML template. It`s not Joomla compatible, it`s just a simple HTML template.

Thank you!

Wonderful Theme! I’m having a great time making it our new website.

Quick question – I’d like the photos for the backgrounds of the parallax section to automatically scale to the width of the window- is this a simple code snippet you can share with me?

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

For best visual performances, background images need to be 1920×1080px at least, so it can cover all screen sizes. To make a background image scale to the width of the window, add background-size: cover; CSS property to the parallax section id:

#quote {
    background: url(images/parallax-quote.jpg) 50% 0 repeat-y fixed;
    background-size: cover;
}

Thank you!

Default-user

Thank you very much DT!

My homepage looks great! Very happy with this theme, but as I begin to write blog posts, I notice that italics, bold and other features not working. I tried to add bullet points as well and they weren’t taking either.

I can usually make it work with some added code in the text editor, but that’s a bit of a pain. Any easier way to make those functions work properly?

Massbro

Thanks, but got major problems now with your update! I cant work on my page without accepting your update and each time I do, it really messes things up. This is a huge problem. Is there a bug with the update? It’s adding duplicate sections and images and some really strange elements. Please address as soon as you can.

DeliciousThemes

Hi,

Can you please share with me a screenshot with your problem or something?

Thanks!

Massbro

Well, I got it fixed by closing it all down and restarting again, but still having problems updating to the new version. Every time I update my homepage, I am required to convert to the new version.
