We don’t currently have any plans to do so, but I’ll look at adding it to the roadmap (since it’s such a quick upgrade). Also, there are a number of plugins that you could use to add social shortcodes.

Thanks! We haven’t tested pax with UberMenu, but I’ll be sure to update this thread when we do. You could include a full-screen background video, but there isn’t a theme option for it, so you’d have to do some custom coding.

The uSlider plugin lets you choose whether to have the slider autoadvance or not. For the preview site, we decided to enable it in the fullsize slider but not in the mobile slider. Enabling autoadvance in the mobile slider would just be a matter of changing one option.

Thanks for taking a look at Pax! To answer your questions:

1. To install non-Google custom fonts, you’d have to add the font imports yourself. This would consist of using the Font Squirrel @fontface generator, copying the resulting files into Pax, and adding the generated code to the header.php file.

2. You can use any colors you want—both Pax and Jigsaw have theme options that let you modify the theme’s skins.

3. Removing the rollover glow on the thumbnails would require (some simply) Custom CSS.

4. You can change the order of items on the homepage. All the example pages are constructed with shortcodes, so it’s easy to change content/layout.

• I am debating between the 2 themes. I prefer the style of ‘Jigsaw’ but Pax appears to have more options. Am I correct?
• Is it easy to modify the icon that appears top left of portfolio items in PAX? I much prefer the jigsaw one
• what would you say were the main differences between the 2 themes?

1. Pax does indeed have more options and is the more fully featured. 2. This would require custom CSS but would be relatively easy to accomplish. 3. We’ve recently discontinued sales of Jigsaw, so I would encourage you to purchase Pax—it has better responsiveness, comes with an advanced slider plugin, and has many more shortcodes and features.

Well, that’s a shame ! Doing this manually is not particularly ergonomic. With such a functionnality, the theme would perfectly suit for a magazine website. Thanks for the answer anyway, the theme is beautiful.
