Peano Creative - Wordpress Portfolio & Blog Theme

Wonderful theme as everyone seems to agree..

Excuse me if I am being simple, but I cannot find how to change the welcome text to something I want.

I’m talking about the: “Hi! My name is Peano. I’m a minimalistic but effective Wordpress theme. You can change my colors and fonts easily per your choice. Do you wanna play with me?”

How do I change, or even remove it??

I need your help with your beautiful template. I just installed the theme but all I get is the basic wordpress page with the “Hello World” article ecc. I can’t find the galleries and the others items I see in your demo configuration. Am I missing something?

I baught your wonderful template design and i really love it, but i don’t understand how i can create a drop down menu (i have already read your help file). When i create a menu by menu appearance and i place the pages in the menu and i drag them in order they just jump bag to the left when i want to save the menu.

Could you help me and explain me what i am doing wrong.

I just bought your theme. I am wondering if your theme lets me change/customise the portfolio filer categories? By default, they come with ‘Graphic, illustration, web design’. I’d like to be able to change this..Please help. Thank you.

I still have a couple of questions:

1st: Is it possible to rotate the portfolio slider-images? I tried to change the code in the slider.js and it didn’t work.

2nd: I am not able to get my Twitter feed to work. I keep getting the “no public twitter messages” even after reinstalling the widget.

I’m thinking of buying your great theme, however I have a large number of images to showcase in many different widths and heights in portrait and landscape, is this possible?

If not is it possible to us a different gallery viewer plugin instead of the one built in?

I am trying to set up custom thumbnails for the “gallery” and it looks like it is saving in the image edit window, but it is not translating live. Is is possible to set custom thumbnails in the gallery or just in the portfolio?

Hy I need your help for the template peano-creative that I just purchased 2 weeks ago. It says at the bottom page for the theme : broken theme “Thèmes endommagés Les thèmes suivants sont installés, mais incomplets. Les thèmes doivent avoir au moins une feuille de style et un modèle. Nom Description peano-wp La feuille de style manque.” And I can’t find a way to change : “Hi! My name is Peano. I’m a minimalistic but effective Wordpress theme. Do you wanna play with me?” I check “Custom Fields”, I go in post, create a new one, then custom field, but I can’t find the intro and the text. Thanks for your help

I have a question. I don’t know whether it is ok to ask you here. I am developing a site using your theme ( http://174.37.136.188/~paacqua/ ). I would like to have TWO WHITE STRIP at the left and right wrapper (as shown here http://www.begbicycles.com/ ).

I have tried to modify the script but no success so far. Could you please help me?

Hello, We’ve finished our PEANO -themed blog and we think it’s looking great apart from the content on the left (posted by/comments/permalink etc) which we would really like to move to the bottom of each post (or at least some of these items). We were searching through past comments on this page and found a link to a blog that managed to do it and it looks fantastic. I need help with the homepage, I want to automate the slides just under the “Hi! My name is Peano” text.

I see there are navigation buttons just below on the right, but I’d like the slides to change automatically.

I’ve tried updating the style/js/slider.js, but this doesn’t seem to effect the homepage.

Please can you advise.

Hi,

I have done this, but it makes no difference at all, the homepage remains fixed on the first portfolio item without changing.

I’ve noted from the source that the large sliders get rendered with a class of “large-slider”, where as the homepage slider gets rendered with a class of “e-showcase-target”.

Hi, thanks for your efforts so far, but I think we are looking at the wrong thing.

After a bit more digging, I think we should be looking at the style/js/showcase-1.1.js file as this seems to drive the navigation buttons for the section I need to automate the transitions for.
