Hi, quick question. I just purchased your theme and I am having an issue getting the learn more button to show up on the 3 columns on the homepage. I got the queries displaying the titles and body of the message ok but no Learn More Button shows up. Any ideas why or how to troubleshoot?

Try to add more content to the post. Sometimes the Learn More button won’t show if the posts is less than 50 words.

Hello,

installed the new update, now my theme settings have been reset and i cannot seem to save any changes in the theme settings. Any idea why? I upload a custom background for example, and click save, it says “changes saved” but bg has disappeared, not saved..

same with any settings, if i set the slide effect to “random” instead of “fade”, and hit save, it defaults back to fade.

Bought this theme a view days ago and did some heavy CSS modifications, is there a way to have a child theme option available?

What did change in the new version?

I’m running the 1.12 version now.

No, what I mean is a Child version of the Peekaboo theme, when I modify the style.css file in the Child theme then this css file would overrule the main css file of the main theme.

This way I don’t need to change the css file every time it get’s updated.

Most theme have child-themes at the moment.

I have this theme. In the welcome message I am trying to make something possessive (’s) but the apostrophe gets edited out in the front end view, although it is written in the theme options text area.

How can I fix it to stop removing my apostraphes

You authors on Themeforest get on my nerves because you reply so swiftly here on themeforest, but without answers (i guess because you don’t want people who got your theme without paying for it to be able to google solutions to their problems). Your actual support forums take forever to get access, take forever to get a response, and we get mad because you could of just simply replied on here!! If my issue was some detailed modification that would only pertain to me and my site, I would of wasted 2 weeks trying to get access to your support forum. But my question was a simple little fix that you’re too prideful of your product to answer publically. Apple, Adobe, Sony and many other companies put their support, manuals, guides, troubleshooting, etc for the public and most of their products are bootlegged, cracked or gotten in some other illegal way for free.

face it: people bootleg theme’s all the time and the same way they figured out how to get your theme free the same way they will figure out how to fix an issue on it. When you see someone like me who’s title on themeforest clearly says “PURCHASED” I think you should answer my question! Its common courtesy with customer service! It would probably make your job so much easier too as instead of people asking the same question 20 million times. All they would have to do is google – “peekabook” “children theme” [their generalized issue here] – and that would take some work load off of you guys.

I figured out it. I will put the answer out there for everyone: CHANGE THE FONT. The Cufon font removes apostrophes! ...now was it that hard to answer?

I mean this with all due respect, but this stuff is just getting really annoying because a lot of our jobs are time sensitive, but it takes us days or weeks to get a reply or access to a support forum, but your tech team is always responding on themeforest.

What line do I edit to change the content body’s background color in the css file? I do not want to edit the wrong part and mess up the site completely. I already know to find the “background color: #whatever;” part but not sure which one to edit.

This theme doesn’t have add to cart functionality. You’ll need a plugin for that, for example WooCommerce plugin.

I don’t know exactly why you don’t have access to the forum. The forum automatically approves users with the correct the purchase code. As for today, I don’t see any pending users.

It does not automatically approve people. You know that’s untrue. We have to fill out the form and wait. I have since been approved. I found the answer to my question within two minutes of being approved…which means I wish I was approved immediately, instead of sitting idle for two days. Your apology is accepted, but please try to get this right for people in the future.

I am working on a time sensitive project and I need an answer only the developer can give me.

Background Issue

1. I might have overlooked it, but I did not see a background image for the WordPress version. I had to upload the background image from the HTML version (bg1.jpg).

2. Anybody else have trouble getting the background image to show on the live site? I have tried to upload the image, but I only see the white backgound

Any help is appreciated!
