very nice, good job.
Thank you
Looks great!
As a matter of interest, can the padding top and bottom of the 3d slider be reduced? I’m trying to see css elements with Firebug, but it looks like the very large gulf top and bottom are part of the flash element. Can the padding be tightened to the same height as the fading slider?
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks
Yes, it can. There is a div with ID piecemaked_slider and you can adjust the margins there.
Thanks for the prompt reply
Not only a great template, but one of best documented I have come across. Thanks for all your hard work.
Hi,
Thank you for the nice words, I’m glad you like it
Thanks I look forward to working on this. Cheers
I love it. I’m still browsing through the templates, but I’ll favorite this.
I only miss the design for Comments from visitors in this template.
Good work, keep it up.
Hi,
Thanks, I’m glad you like it
I haven’t designed comments, because this is an HTML template, but I’m planning to create a WordPress version and I will update the HTML version when the design of the comments will be ready.
Hi pexeto,
You’re welcome.
I’m still looking for a HTML /CSS template for a new site I’m working on, but I just can’t decide. This template is one of my favorites so far however.
The reason why I need a design for Comments is because I’m having a guestbook on the website. I think I can manage the comments design on my own, but it would be great to see a version of this template with comments/reactions of visitors.
I’ll wait for the next version then.
Thanks.

I’ve almost fully completed/customized my template and it’s looking fantastic. Again, great job with the documentation.
I am using the fader.js for the home page, which I know you have stated has an optimal size. Unfortunately, it’s just a little too wide to completely fit in a 1024×768 screen config (the fader only, not the rest of the site).
I have taken it apart and I think I understand how all of the elements work together, but is there any way I could get a little more documentation on which CSS element does what for the fader? The real trouble comes with the left margin of the fader area. During window resize it hits a certain point and won’t budge. I’m sure this is just a CSS alignment issue, I’m just slightly confused.
If you need clarification on my question, please let me know.
Thanks again! Great template.
Hi,
I really don’t see this issue. However, you can control the positioning of the fader by changing the values in the sections .slider_center and #fader. I think that by reducing the width in .slider_center you can control the left margin of the fader area.
Thank you very much. I found that by changing the .slider_center margin from 1100px to 1024px it fits perfectly in a 1024×768 browser window.
I need your help. I have the following error:
“Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2124: Loaded file is an unknown type.” FROM A FLASH 10 DIALOG BOX .
Also, I selected the “Dark Blue” style and adjusted the Logo size to accomodate a larger Logo, but now I have a green border accross the top; how do I get rid of the green border on the top of every page?
Thanks
Hi,
This is very strange…never happened to me before. I think it is not caused by the this template, I think the problem is somewhere else. Is the site hosted on a server so you can provide a link?
How can I replace the pop-up sections in the Portfolio page to show Adobe “pdf” files instead of graphic images?
Hi,
The lightbox plugin used in this template is called PrettyPhoto and I don’t think it supports PDF files. One solution for this is to make screenshots of those files and insert them as images.
I love this theme, there is just one feature that I am always looking for: a contact form at the bottom of each page.
would this be possible?
thanks alot!
Hi,
Thanks, I’m glad you like it
Yes, you can very easily add the contact form on the bottom of each page just by copying the form code from the contact page.
hi, I think this template is great..i´m really happy with it. But i´m having a little problem with the image fader in home page. The fader doesn´t seem to work properly with the tags. ¿can i use a diferent link for each picture? ( I´ve tried but it doesn´t work)
Thanks
Hi,
First of all- glad you like it
Can I have a link to your site so I can have a look?
Great template, I’m just having a couple of problems with a few of the functions. First, I can’t seem to get the contact page to work. I changed the php code to use my email but I don’t seem to be getting any emails. Also how do I get the pop up viewers to show video? I tried directing one of the links to a vimeo url but it doesn’t load. Thanks.
Hi,
Can you please provide a link to your site to have a look?
MY site is www.zapmedia.biz I managed to make youtube videos pop up, but I still can’t make vimeo videos appear. But for now I’m mainly concerned with the contact page. Thanks for taking a look
Regarding the contact form- I can see that you have edited its code, you just have to remove the
action="sendEmail.php"attribute of the form tag and I think it will work.Regarding the vimeo content- I am not sure what might be the reason for this. However, here is a link to the lightbox plugin I use (PrettyPhoto), you might find your answer there:

Hi Pexeto I really like this template, it’s in my shortlist. Could you just confirm if it is possible to include URL links in the Portfolio Gallery? I need to link the images to the actual life-sites.
I would also like to know if the preview size is fixed, or if it can be increased (two columns)
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for the interest
What you need can be very easily accomplished with some small code changes- I can tell you how to do it.
Regarding the preview image- its size is not fixed, you can use images with different size.
Excellent, thank you for your kind offer.
One more thing (this might be more complicated?): I need to create the site in 2 languages, with a language selection menu (dropdown or simple hyperlinks). I don’t want to use Wordpress (language switcher) if possible, I’d prefer to adapt the site layout in Dreamweaver. I’ve got all the text, so it’s not a case of translating the site.
Would you recommend a simple link to “www.mysite.com/en” (english) and “www.mysite.com/es” (spanish) for example, with duplicated content?
I’d appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks
It depends on the content- if you don’t change it very often then it’s fine to use it in two directories and I think this is the easiest way to accomplish this.
Hi, I received a new reply from you by mail but can’t find it here:
I don’t think using duplicated content is a good solution. I haven’t worked on a multi-language site so far, but I know there are some plugins that can do this for you.
Do you refer to Wordpress plugins (language switcher), or something I can run through Dreamweaver? My Hosting service is 1&1, and I heard that many people find it difficult to run WordPress though them. That’s why i was going to use the site template without any CMS system, but maybe that’s not a good idea.
Any idea what that plugin is called?
Thanks!
I haven’t worked on a multi-language site so far, so I can’t tell you about the plugins, but I am sure that if you google it a bit you will find the right one. Regarding whether to use an HTML template or WordPress theme- it really depends on how often the content will be changed. If it is going to be changed very often then WordPress theme will be more suitable. If not- I think it will be much easier for you to use the HTML template.
pexeto Hello, excuse me one question, very good the template… =P is there any chance that the titles of the pages and modules supporting accents (á é í ó ú and ñ)? I have not managed to do not delete them.
Hi,
I don’t think the font used supports these characters. If you need to use some special characters you need to disable the Cufon font replacement and use the default font. In order to do this you have to delete the following lines from the script.js file (within the script folder):
Cufon.replace('h1'); Cufon.replace('h2'); Cufon.replace('h3'); Cufon.replace('h4'); Cufon.replace('h5'); Cufon.replace('h6');Hi! Great purchase, Thanks! Been looking everywhere & read the help index files, but “how do I switch between sliders? Its originally on 3D rotator, but I simply want to implement the fader instead… how?”
Hi,
I’m glad you like it
In the documentation in each section’s description there is an explanation about how to do this- if you would like to change the slider for the blog (index) page, then you can do this in the Perception Options page in the section “Posts page settings” (in the Slider on blog/posts page). If you would like to change the slider on a non-blog page, you can do this in the Slider field below the main content area of the page.
Hi again,
Just noticed that this comment was posted on the HTML version, not the WordPress one (as I thought), so please dismiss the comement above.
In your download folder you should have 3 index files- index.html, index2.html and index3.html- each containing a different slider and you were supposed to edit the one with the slider you like. As you are seeing the 3D slider, I guess you have made some changes to the index.html, so you would like not to start editing the content again. The easiest way to get the slider is to replace all your content below the div with id slider_container in the index3.html and actually use this file.
