Perpetual: Premium Portfolio WordPress Theme

I purchased this theme and for some reason, no matter what box I check… the place where people can leave comments is not showing up on the site. Can someone please help, I’ve exhausted every possibility I know of. PLEASE HELP !!!

I would like my logo to have more prominence and I am unable to due to design restrictions.

How can I increase my logo size without it being cropped?

when i attempt to add a gallery under step 2 after creating a page I do not have Template > Gallery View as an option. Only default blog and portfolio views. I am trying to get my galleries up and running but cant because it wont let me configure it as described in the tutorial. please help, I love the theme but am stuck. Thanks

Hello, i’m having some trouble with the slider in the frontpage. Whenever i install some calendar plugin it shrinks to half and its does work. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Hi. I have some trouble setting the button colours in Contact Form 7 plugin. The “Send” button appears to be ok, but the “Reset” and “Add File” buttons are still grey. It seems the contact form takes coulors from the theme, but I don’t know where to add the information about Reset and Add File buttons? Thanks.

Hi there. Love the theme, but I’m getting conflicts once I install WP e-commerce on my site sunmullet.com. Here’s the support I received from WPE :

“Hey, yeah your right that its most likely a jQuery conflict. Um so the Nivo slider came with the theme? There also seems to be a twitter widget causing problems as well, did that come with the theme.

Its seems the problem is that these widgets are using jQuery that uses the $ symbol. WordPress does not like that. instead replace the $ symbol with the word jQuery. I would ask the theme authors if they have a update to this theme where they have 1.) used the jQuery word instead of the $ symbol for all there jquery. 2.) All scripts are properly enquired rather than hard coded in the theme.

Most theme authors know about this stuff now so I’m surprised by this.”

I appreciate you looking into it. I just tried a different plugin: the Shortcodes Ultimate and it also broke the slider in the exact same way. Eagerly awaiting your update.

Hi, this is my first go at wordpress and I am struggling a bit getting to grips with this theme, and customising it to my design. I think I would find it easier if I had the Perpetual theme to install as a demo site. that way I could see and understand what I am editing. (I have been told that other themes do this).

This may be part of what I have downloaded, and I have just missed it (so apologies if this is the case) but any chance of a little nudge in the right direction please?

Hi there, Love the theme! ...Except I have one problem, I would like to change the background of the sidebar (the sidebar with the logo) to another colour? There must be somewhere in the editor where I can do this? -How do I do it?

Additionally, is it also possible to change the background (to a colour) of the content area- where all the page text and Header tagline is etc?

Love the theme so far. thank you! i am having trouble with the blog layout.. i want it to look like yours does in the theme example but my image is not showing up in the top of the post like yours is (cropped until you click on the post and then it shows full size) it is just showing full size… is there a setting i need to change so my blog lay out looks like yours.. its prob really simple but i’ve looked and looked and cant figure it out! thanks for your help

I bought this theme and i like it very much, but i’ve some problems about widget and the main problem is that i wrote to the author two times and i had no answer. I don’t like if they dont give me any support or they give me a contact to someone who can help me (of course i pay for that). Regards gilbert

I posted a couple of questions on the new support site more than a month ago and no one has replied thus far.

For anyone looking to buy this theme, expect zero support. I check back every so often to see if anyone has replied to my questions and there is never anything. All I ever see is more people asking questions with no responses.

For the designers of this theme, the concept is brilliant; however there are a few things, such as the slider, that are just not working for me. You need to provide more thorough, step-by-step documentation and better support. Without that, your theme is kind of useless.

I was really excited when I purchased this theme. Now I’m regretting the waste of $35.

Just purchased this theme but when I click on the “activate” button – this pops up:
