Personal landing page WP single page theme

Hey how are you, purchased this template for my friend. It’s a noob question, but I got a quick question. My first time using WP = )

“name” => “Portfolio category”, <— has to be the same as the tittle in the add comment section, right?

This is what I have right now, if you look at the page same info shows in teh services also. I know this is a user error.

I just purchased the theme (my version of WP is 3.2.1) but when I try to activate it nothing works and the page shows an error message “This webpage has a redirect loop error”.

What should I do?

Hey, im currently in between two themes i would like to buy – and as i am a student i cannot go spend money on something that wont work for me.

So i got a few questions i was hoping you could answer for me. The quicker you answer the quicker you’ll get it sold

1# Is it possible to remove overflow (scrolling) so its only possible to get from section to sections by links? Will it function?

2# Does it work with 3.2? (Above person has problems with it )

3# How hard is it (Is it possible) to change background and main logo into something that is different dimensions ( higher than width )

I had the same redirect error. Mixey said he would look into it and them went quiet.

In the end i deleted the wordpress installation and reinstalled – now the theme works for me.

The total lack of documentation is a let down and the misspelling of “Adress” does not inspire too much confidence – but it appears to work so far

@MagnusK I have it installed and working so far on WP 3 .2.1

changing the logo is as easy as redirecting it to your own Logo image.

Changing the background I have not managed so far. It’s not documented at all that I can find.

I was also disappointed that to change the Section names (about me, portfolio,etc) you have to edit the php files – this should also be included in the options.

I made sure the About me page is ordered as #2, however, anything I post in the Services page still shows up in About me. Additionally, I get a redirect error when selecting the ‘static page’ option in the reading settings. The site is cliffsurges.com.

Any quick tips?

I need to translate the “Side and close” and “Do you want to know me better?”. I have found them in home.php – but they still appear in English and I can’t find these sentences in the theme’s files. Any idea where I should look to translate these lines?

I would like have different backgrounds for each menu item (full-width stretched).

I’ve been coding websites for 6 years so if you give me the code and tell me where to place it, there wont be any problems.

I’ve created a post for the portfolio section and made sure the CHMOD permissions are set to 777. Thumbnails are still not showing up and when I click on the link the entire site opens in the pop-up window rather than the image. The site is marilyngross-art.com.

I have a wordpress theme (humanitcafe.com), and we are opening a new 2nd location for our cafe. So I’d like to have a landing page that shows two options (1 for each location), and then users can click on either location and get to a different website.

Is this something I can do with these theme?

I’ve been able to stretch this theme to do a lot for small company I work with. We all really love it – thanks for being so awesome!

My issue: The contact form seems to have stopped working recently. Sending a message no longer produces the “Thank you” text, and it sends blank emails. Not sure how to diagnose the trouble, and any help would be much appreciated!

I’m late to the aprty, but I had the same issue as MikePaulus above; the form stopped working. Happened a couple of months ago (or more), not sure when exactly. Maybe tied t the WP 3 .3 release?? Had to replace the form with a Gravity Form. Maybe worth looking into by you, mixey? Also, note that the site with the theme was a subsite in a multisite install (with domain mapping); maybe that’s what caused the issue? However, it used to work before, so who knows…

This is my first time using WP so I have some questions and I hope you can help me.

1. When I create text under ‘Services’ it writes the same text in the ‘About Us’. 2. The text from ‘Services’ and ‘About Us’ are at the same time in the Portfolio.

Me again. Just had an issue pop up today on my installation of this theme at http://nextstepenergy.com/

The “Services” area (relabeled “Products” on my site) stopped pulling posts into it, so now it’s just blank. All appears well in the theme options. I did not run any updates or install anything new. Last night, I added a linked image to the Footer.php file, but removing it did not fix the trouble.

Any ideas?

Can the services page be changed to a different type of page? I would rather post a page of my social media accounts… Can the name of the portfolio page be changed?
