There is not Featured slider on this theme.

Small updates have done for this this theme:

1) Featured slider added. 2) Logo style changed.

Update file on the Q and will be updated soon.

What size should I make the images for the custom field “Image”? I am not able to get the image to display on the home page. I used the complete absolute path to it, is that needed?

Try after you make the bellow.

*you need to CHMOD the ‘cache’ folder (scripts\cache) to 777 to work the (slider/featured) images properly.

If you still get the same, then feel free to send us your wp admin access.

Just purchased the theme, looks great. Can you explain what you mean by “you need to CHMOD the ‘cache’ folder’? I don’t understand, and right now, my home page looks like this: www.mariomedina.com

I have updated the theme with slider, if you would like to add slider on the homepage you can get the latest files.

From FTP , connect your server and access the theme folder and find the cache folder in script folder and make cache folder writable it means, right click on the cache folder and type 777.

I hope it will help a bit.

Pleased with this purchase. The only complaint I have thus far is the readme could be a bit more organized (although it explains everything you need to know to get going). Also, in my opinion, the default speed of the slider is way too fast by default and the readme doesn’t explain how to slow it down. For anyone else interested in slowing it down, open sliderstyle.js (in the “js” folder) and adjust where it says “auto” (lines 8 and 18) to something higher—an increase of 1,000 is equal to one second.

I’d like to make the featured images in the slider a little wider (so they line up with the images bellow them)

Is there a simple way of doing this? I can’t see where the current (400px) measurement is set in the either.css file or the .js
