At default, the width of the navigation is set to 80px with padding.

Find this line in style.css:


.sf-menu li{float:left; position:relative; padding:14px 20px 13px 10px; margin:0px; width:80px; text-align:center; font:14px 'Trebuchet MS',Trebuchet; border-right: 1px solid #b5b5b5; }

Then change the width parameter to something larger.

Another question. At my site http://flash-candy.com the post pictures are part of the flash folder. Looks good on the post, but how can I get a picture to show in the small preview of the post. Or should I just remove the picture part? I would rather a thumbnail show up, but I don’t want to put a picture above the flash movie.

You should attach(upload) images to your posts so that the thumbnail feature works.

To remove the thumbnail view, You can edit the index.php file. On line 17, remove the following line:

<img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/timthumb.php?src=<?php bdw_get_images($postId); ?>&h=90&w=130&zc=1" alt="<?php the_title(); ?>" />

Ok, I’ll try to make this the last question. on the site http://flash-candy.com I removed the picture thumbnail from the post as instructed. My problem is that the ratings and comments icons on the bottom cut off the text from the preview post. I tried removing the ratings plugin but the comments and ratings star at the bottom remained. Any fix?

Try disabling the plugin before activating the theme. The theme includes the plugin in itself, therefore using the plugin with the theme does not work.

You need to upload an image to your post. The theme will automatically detect it
