Really great Joomla theme and really worth the price. Good luck with sales.

Thank you :)

really nice, an html version perhaps?

marbol2

Thanks,

I don’t know I’m really busy now.

An HTML version would be extremely nice :)

You may want to check your IE6 detection script, it displays the message in IE8 too.

marbol2

Hello,

I checked this and all of my templates in IE8 , IE7 and IE6 . Warring message displays only in IE6 .

Great template! I would like to remove the grey circles that show the number of slides at the bottom of coin slider. Where is the code to remove these? In the javascript? Thanks.

marbol2

Hello,

You may disable gallery navigation in admin panel. Look here: http://phoenicis.xtreemhost.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8&Itemid=105

If you want edit code, open template.css file (path: yourSiteName.com/templates/phoenicis/css/template.css) and go to 1236 line.

I can’t see the demo page!

wow… cool

Can we easily change the menu sliding background colour by a colour of our choice?

marbol2

Hi,

thanks.

If you have change the color of menu you need edit the css file. You may cretae a new color panels in photoshop (use panels.psd file) save this panels in image directory of phoenicis template and next create new coror css file based on some css file in “colors” directory (path: css/colors/).

Or choose some color from 38 variations :)

Great Template! Any way that I could move the Menu to the top of the layout? (Above the Logo)

Thanks!

marbol2

Hi,

Go to yourSiteName.com/templates/phoenicis/layouts there you can find layouts php files:

  • default.php
  • content+right.php
  • left+content.php
  • left+content+right.php
  • left+right+content.php

Open these files and move the fallowing code before header:

<!-- MAIN NAVIGATION -->
<?php $this?>loadBlock('mainnav') ?>
<!-- //MAIN NAVIGATION -->

Repeat this operation for all of layouts file. It’s done!

Marbol2 thanks for the awesome template.

The main navigation automatically uses the Main Menu, is it possible to have a different menu (ie User Menu) display when the user logs in?

My original template used modules to display the main navigation, so I could easily swap in between menus. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi! Great work. One question, is there a way to change the default menu type from “mega” to “css” for the whole site?

Thanks!

Hi, It is possible to use iframes in this template and what about to translate to spanish, special characters etc…? Thanks and good luck

marbol2

Hi Claudia,

Yes, You may use iframes in Phoenicis template, look here. It’s a “wrapper” type menu. You may choose this type from all of types menu of joomla such as: article layout, category blog, category list and so on… You may also create new module “Custom HTML ” and paste into content of the modue your iframes code, like here (Google Map). Before you need disable content editor, go to: Site – Global Configuration (Content Editor=No editor).

To translate to Spanish you need create language files. Unzip phoenicis_tpl.zip file and open en-GB.tpl_phoenicis.ini file, edit it like you want and save as: es-ES.tpl_phoenicis.ini and than upload this file to your server (Path: yourSiteName.com/language/es-ES/). Next open en-GB.tpl_phoenicis.ini located in phoenicis_tpl.zip in “admin” directory. Edit and save this file as: es-ES.tpl_phoenicis.ini and upload to your server (Path: yourSiteName.com/administrator/language/es-ES/). It’s done!

Good luck!

hello, can you tell me how can I change the cufon font? Thanks

marbol2

Hi,

It’s easy. Upload your js font file to “fonts” directory (Ptah: yourSiteName/templates/phoenicis/libs/cufon/fonts/).

Next open head.php file (located: yourSiteName/templates/phoenicis/layouts/blocks/head.php) and edit path to font js file and also font-family.

Hi, I just install into GoDaddy Joomla 1.6 server today. From time to time I am getting an “Internal Server Error”. I have reported this error to GoDaddy. Also your package had a ”.htaccess file”, but it was packaged as “htaccess.txt”. I rename the file, but still getting the error. Any ideas? Thanks

marbol2

Hi,

Go to Site – Global Configuration and choose “Yes” for all of “SEO Setings” options. Next change name from htaccess.txt to .htaccess

Mariusz

Is this based on JA T3 Framework 2.0 or the first version?

Is there a way to modify the colours from the admin panel or do we need to edit the CSS files?

marbol2

Hi,

Phoenicis based on T3 framework first version.

You need edit css files.

Good day, I am new at this so what do I need to install on Godaddy so that I can manage your template like it is a Joomla app? Now the only way I can manage is via file manager.
