1. nice theme, i’ll purchase it :) 2. i found a bug (?): if you are on the “blog” page, the columns (middle and right sidebar) don’t adjust to the browser width as they do on the other pages. it seems that due to that the sidebar stays with a fixed with on browser widths 1280px plus and just drops into another line when you make the window smaller. it’s the same on FF and on IE9 . 3. if you click on a portfolio item, you get to the particular details page. following what criteria are the other items displayed underneath? same category/tag/...? thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the nice comment!

2. Majority of user prefer blog section to be fixed. So this was done on purpose (fixed width ~500-600px wide is easier to read, like a book…)

3. You can set how other projects are ordered (Title, Random, Date).

Looking forward!

hi- is there any way to make the display size of the images in the portfolio view smaller? they show up HUGE and i just want to know if there is an option anywhere to reduce this size.

wpbakery

Top image slider is scaled to fill all available space… If you want to change that, place this css code in the custom css section in theme options page:

#wrap .wpb_top_slider { width: 600px; }

I like it !!! ... Three questions:

- Is it possible to make the order of the Portfolio-Pictures by random? (They are in order by date)

- In the Portfolio-Item-Page I do not need the “Featured-Picutes” of the alternative portfolio items. What do you think: Is there a possibility (CCS Code) to show a Portfolio-Item-Page without these Pictures?

- On the Porfolio-Side Users may click on the “CATEGORIES-Link” below the “Artikel-Headline”. Then they are lost in Navigation ;-) May I can disable they “link”-function?

Excuse my english.

Hi,

I’m passing this to dev, to include in the next update. Meanwhile, you can open page-portfolio.php file and edit $args to look like this:
$args = array(
    'orderby' => 'rand',
    'post_type' => 'portfolio',
    'paged' => ( get_query_var('paged') > 0 ) ? get_query_var('paged') : get_query_var('page'),
    'posts_per_page' => $posts_per_page
);

The template is excellent. I liked since I saw and now I’m editing it but I still like it. Is practical, easy and simple to load the data. I’m really happy with our purchase. It was the first time to a purchase like this, and really had my doubts from the beginning, but turned out to be a satisfactory purchase. I also raised some doubts after installing the template and the support I was able to understand and solve the problem quickly. THANK YOU AGAIN !! :D Paul :D:D:D

Beautiful template. Have any idea if it will play nicely with an ecommerce plugin like cart66? I’d like to leverage my clients’ great pictures but create ecommerce functionality. Thanks

Shouldn’t be a problem at all!

Hi there,

great theme and I got right into some customization.

One question ref YouTube videos. How can I achieve settings like rel=0 or autoplay=1 for the YouTube videos?

To simply add it to the video url does not work.

And I like to know how to add a line or a paragraph of text at the top of the portfolio pages (and the portfolio categories). To use the editor or visual composer doesn’t do the trick.

Thank you

wpbakery

Hi,

Video embedding is handled by WordPress native [embed] shortcode and I can’t find info how to do what you are asking for. If you’ll find, please share results here or over support forums.

P.S. Thank you for the great feedback!

Hey Mixey,

Great theme you have there! I’m impressed!

Before I make the decision to buy, I’d like to know how will your theme look if most of my photos are in portrait mode.

Thanks, Melvin Neo

Hi and thank you for the compliments! For Portfolio thumbnails 400×300 images are used (it takes your uploaded image, then resize and crops it to be exact size). If you widh, you can tweak this size in template files.

For portfolio single page, template takes “large” image size and then it’s resized with css proportionally (image occupies all available width and height is proportionally scaled).

Hello … great theme! Is it available as an HTML site template? or only for WP? Thanks!

wpbakery

Thank you for the compliments!

I’m afraid but WP only…

Hi Does this nice template support multisite?

wpbakery

Thanks for the kind words!

This template works perfect with multisite (over here). But I believe you should obtain an Extended license to use it on the multisite.

Just quickly stopping by to give some feedback to this template which I bought recently. I’ve bought other templates here before from other authors and my experience with all developers I bought from so far is that they are all highly professional and doing fantastic work (otherwise I wouldn’t be bere). But with this one I’d say there is an extra +1 level of ease of use and design sophistication here that I didn’t experience in my previous purchases.

Not only did I have it up and running within minutes, but getting it to look similar to the preview version with my own content was a lot easier than I’ve experienced with other templates. I think I opened the help file once (which is nicely formatted, btw, making it easy to find stuff), versus having to open it at least ten, twenty times with other templates while learning the sometimes cumbersome particulars of filling and maintaining that templates. Here, there was no learning curve to speak of.

Being a designer at heart, I often feel the urge to tweak headline sizes and colors ever just so lightly to give it an extra edge in a particular style. But with this one, I didn’t get that urge. The design is solid. Point sizes and colors are spot on. I think I changed the background color of the margins once to white, but then realized the original gray is better, and switched it back. That was all. (Now that’s an all time first)

For me easily within the top 5 of all site templates on this site, possibly top 3. Sure it could have some of those nifty extras on the gallery page, like filter buttons or search, but actually I’m glad it doesn’t clutter the clean interface concept with these. I’d say it makes the concept stronger not to have them on the front page.

So all in all a solid template inside and out. All the right choices in all areas, which is in incredibly hard to do. 5 stars from me.

wpbakery

Thank you!!!! This is on of the best comments I’ve received so far! Much-much-much appreciated!

P.S. I’m really glad that you find my template good and useful to you.

hi,

i love this theme !.. portfolio interface is very good. but the picture is too large in portfolio detail page. this is not useful for me. Do you think the lightbox option for portfolio page?

best regards.

wpbakery

Open lightbox right from the archive page? without a single portfolio page view?

Default-user

Clicked portfolio image—> open larger image with lightBox.

wpbakery

I can help you with that, after the purchase, over the support forums.

Hey

I am having problems with the portfolio.
I have made The portfolio Categories as products and put a featured image in and put an image in the post.
The products pictures shows up on the home page, but when i go into the page it gives me an error:
404 – That’s an error.

It seem the page you were looking for has moved or is no longer there. Or maybe you just mistyped something. It happens.

How can i fix the problem??

p.s my boss bought the theme and i am working with it.

Hi I have some doubts prior to purchase. Related to portfolio:

"For portfolio single page, template takes “large” image size and then it’s resized with css proportionally (image occupies all available width and height is proportionally scaled)": can the slider on that portfolio single page be removed?

Thanks

wpbakery

Yes, sure! Attaching images to portfolio isn’t mandority, so if you’ll skip that, slider will not show up.

Looking forward

after browsing themes for hours, i must say this theme is not only beautiful and stylish but also cuts out the usual portfolio related feature-garbage. it is nice to see that some designers are not ego-driven (not trying to cram as much stuff into a theme as possible, thinking that it adds value)

2 questions to see if i will buy this theme:

1. does the portfolio page have pagination? (i will need to upload several hundred images). f it is not built in, can it be added manually?

2. if the portfolio image on the individual portfolio page is resized using CSS – as mentioned in an earlier comment – will the portfolio pages remain responsive and get resized for all browser sizes, even for iPhone resolution?

thank you and much success with the theme!

wpbakery

Hi,

First of all thank you for complimenting and “understanding” :)) I truly believe that making all-in-one themes isn’t a good way…

Answering your questions: yes & yes :)

Nice theme, can it be used for CSV upload for a larger number of pictures and text?

wpbakery

Hi,

Theme itself doesn’t have any special tools to do that. I’m not familiar with csv, but if you know 3rd party plugin that can do that, then they should work just fine with this theme (theme is coding following WordPress coding standards).

Hi Mixey,

I Was working on my template, I just noticed that when you display a image to see the info and the big images on each project, the image looks pixelated, what is the right size for the big ones?

I see the thumbs are 400×300, but not sure about the big size photos dimensions.

Thanks

wpbakery

When you upload images for your portfolio, WordPress resizes them automatically. And then, template takes “large” image for portfolio single view carousel. Large image size, you can define in Settings->Media section. After that new images will be resized based on your new settings. To regenerate previously uploaded images, try using Thumbnail regenerator plugin.
