Since I updated to the newest version of WP, I can’t change the existing pages through visual composer. The things keep loading. Can I change something that it’s going to work again? I’d also like to know how to safely update the photik theme without losing one of the existing preferences.

Hi Andreas, you should update your theme too. Updating theme files shouldn’t affect any of your site’s content. But having a backup is a good call.

I have a pre sales question – why are the blog pages not scaling to full width like the other pages? This looks a bit strange. Will this change in an upcoming update? Thanks for your time.
Blog page is fixed because long blog posts is easier to read when text isn’t spread to the whole page width. We don’t plan to change that in the updates. But it can be changed per your request via support forums. This should be just a small css fix.

No in the single portfolio view images are scaled proportionally, so nothing will be cropped.

This is a pre-sales question. I like the Photik template and the Visual Composer looks amazing. Questions -
1) what if I have only 6 of those visual blocks on the right? How are they configured? (centered?) 2) can I add a Twitter stream and a photo in the left navigation with Visual Composer? 3) when I click on a visual block on the right, it takes me to a post with a very large image. Can I control the size of that image? Does it have to always include Client, Date, Project? Or is all of this customizable in Visual Composer?

Hi,
1. Template has its own login when placing thumbnails to the frontpage grid so it always looks good.
2. No there’s no such option out of the box. But you can place custom link in the menu which will point to your twitter account or separate page with twitter feed.
3. Out of the box it isn’t possible, but at our Community Forums this was explained few times already, so you should be able to find required bits of css code to place in theme options page.

after over a year with this theme on my portfolio site I still get allaround excellent feedback on the design. Consider me a happy customer. So today I thought I’d update it to the latest version, but there is this one thing I don’t get: there are now two Theme Option links on the left sidebar of Wordpress. One time a dark header reads “Version 2.0.16”, the second version has no header or number and the design is different. Smaller. In both I can set theme options like color, typography etc. What does that mean? Which one is the right one?
Oh, and could you send me a login for the userforum? I tried several times to register with different email addresses but I’m not getting a password email.
