I purchased this theme and its looking great, the scalability works well too except for one flaw. The logo placeholder floats above the middle content so when you zoom in far enough the logo actually wraps/falls over the middle column… how can i make the logo static or fall behind the column if it does have to zoom in that way. i’m looking at the code now but thought i would ask you since you wrote it!

Hi, first off, beautiful theme
I was just wondering if the flexslider can be configurated with some max limits. Many images I’ll use in my portfolio wont look great on very big screens if the flexslider scales them up too much.
Especially vertical images where the width should not take up the whole width of the page, because you’d have to scroll to see the whole image (fullscreen themes usually look at the height, so you dont have to scroll on non-horizontal type images).
With simple css fix it’s possible. We’ll help you with that over at support forums after the purchase.
Another question (more urgent)..
I dont get the posts page as homepage, even though I selected that both in the theme optionspage and the setting>reading settings.
What am I doing wrong?..

By default it’s always fullscreen. But it can be overridden with small css snippet (right from theme options panel). We will help you with that after the purchase at support forums.

To remove comments from pages you should do this. While creating/editing page, scroll down to the “Discussion” section and uncheck “Allow discussion” check box. If you can’t locate “Discussion” section, then make sure it’s selected in the “Screen Options” (top right corner).
To remove comments from multiple pages at once. Go to the “Pages” and select what pages should be altered, then from “Bulk Actions” drop down menu, select “Edit” and in the new promt window, uncheck “Allow comments” and hit update.

“Right panel” is widgetsied sidebar, so its content you can control in Appearance->Widgets

You have placed image gallery to your page and most likely you didn’t enter image size and template is using default (thumbnail) size and in your case this is to small. Try this: Edit your page and click pencil icon for your gallery content block and in “Image size” input field, enter different image size. It can be a preset like medium, large, original or custom size eg. 500×500

When you create portfolio post (Portfolio->Add new), scroll down to the “Options settings” section and click “Add images” button (to add images to the portfolio post). This selected images will be rotated in the slider.

Create empty static page (Pages->Add new), Name it as a Blog and then in Settings->Reading, select this page as a container for Posts.
Then add Blog page to your menu structure in Appearance->Menu

I can’t test the demo on a super-high-res screen because I don’t own one, but I tried to zoom-out my browser and it looks like the portfolio view maxes out at 4 colums. Is this actually true on large displays or just a quirk from zooming the browser?
I would want love it to display 5 or 6 etc columns as necessary, if possible.

Out of the box template has a maximum of 4 items per row. But with small adjustment, you can increase that value. At support forums we have a very nice moderator Philip, who can do this thing for you on a freelance basis.

Please make sure your are using latest WP version. Some functions were depreciated by WP core team and this is why you are seeing this message.

Another quick question! If the number of portfolio items is less than what it shows in your demo, does the page end up looking empty, or do the images for each portfolio item automatically resize? I am just starting out this year, and don’t have a huge portfolio!
Not sure what you mean… In my personal experience it’s better to have at least 10 portfolio entries, to make your page “pop”.
But you can be here creative. Eg. post actual portfolio entries (client by client) and then create your “sets” of favorites of grouped by thematic.
What I meant was, say I had fewer than 12 portfolio entries (like on the demo) then, would the preview images stay the same size and look tiny and empty, or would they automatically resize to fit the entire portfolio “thumnail” area? Although those are bigger than thumbs..
Thumbnails will remain the same size.
