hello, I’about to get this template, but before i would like to know; when you call it Photolio-Facebook it does not mean that you can only use it on Facebook?? what I understand it’s that this template have a Facebook site look, i’m ok?? sorry about such a basic question but I’m a basic user. Thanks for your interest. Yes, you’re right. This template for use in the Facebook. But you’re wrong about ‘Facebook site look’. Please, try to google about FB templates before buying. In the demo you can see how it looks in the Facebook (i.e final result).

You need to upload this template to your server, then go to FB and install IFrame app (for example: http://apps.facebook.com/iframehost/ ). Then follow the instructions. I hope it will help.

Haven’t checked the app you’ve directed me to – Facebook doesn’t give us a testing environment, so I’m still developing locally – but your answer sure put me on the right track.
One question though: I want to use the video type of work in the portfolio, but the demo doesn’t show videos – only images. What should I do if I want the lightbox to actually show & play a YouTube vid?

OK, solved it easily – just paste the youtube URL itself – works like a charm.
It’s now on Facebook – and looks amazing
BTW – using the app you directed me to, at no stage was I required to supply an SSL. I did purchase & installed it, but all the links are plain HTTP – so I doubt if the SSL was required at all.
As SSL doesn’t come cheap, especially with the unique IP I had to purchase – I suggest you look into it, as not all users have the right knowledge or the cash to buy them – possibly hurting your sales.
