Ah and one more thing – would this theme support Revolution Slider? I see the possibility of using Nivo slider in the pages if wanted – so could this work?
I haven’t tested this plugin with the theme, as it is a premium one, but generally the theme is built according to the best plugin compatibility practices, so it should be okay with implementing the ones you like.
hi, quick question before i purchase…
my logo is a suare with text inside… and i am affraid that if i make it so small in height the letters will not be readable… so my question is, is it possible to move the logo to left side and make it bigger so i floats over the menu bar ?
i guess the theme option dont give me this option, would i get support on this ? i can make a printscreen of your demo and add my logo in photoshop to show you what i mean if needed
Best regards, waiting your reply to continue with the purchase
By default the theme provides an option to set a custom logo size, so you can insert a bigger logo without making any modifications – you can insert whatever size of logo you like.
I really like your theme. I have few questions for you. Depends on the answers i decide if this theme will suite my needs or not.
Could you tell me if you have an option to put music and password protected gallery? These are very important to have on my web.
Also, I see that you have on home page not just images but different galleries. These galleries have to be the same as on menu? I am going to have only about 4 galleries and I do not want to have any empty space on home page.
The last question
I cannot preview Light Skin-is it just not working or you do not have this option?
Thanks a lot for your time and consideration in advance.
I would appreciate if you send me e-mail as well at: email@example.com
You can have a password protected quick gallery – you can see an example here (use “pexeto” as password). You can have this gallery in a sidebar and full-width (no sidebar) layout. Regarding playing music – by default the theme doesn’t support such kind of option, but there are lots of music player plugins that you can use. Regarding the galleries – you can create whatever galleries you like, they don’t have to be in the same way as on the demo and whether there will be empty space depends on the number of items you have in there – if you have enough items to fill the page, there won’t be an empty space below them. Regarding the skin changing – we had to temporary load another demo site (because of our server maintenance), now the default demo site is back and you can see the skin changing functionality here.
Every time I try to upload this Theme to my wordpress, this comes up…
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
What am I doing wrong???

I have for several WEEKS now been trying to decide between this one and your Expression theme.. The thing is that neither have exactly what i am after, but both are close.. So I am wondering about the possibility of combining functionality.
Basically, I am very happy with the expression theme, in all but one way. I need the Slider Grid Gallery functionality from this theme for my portfolio.. Is it possible to get this gallery for that theme?
Alternatively, I would be happy to buy this Photolux theme, if I could alter the css to look like the Expression theme..
Is there a way to solve this at all?
And lastly.. are either of these possible to get to work with a masonry style blog overview?
Thanks for your help!
Can I have two categories or pages or something and have one of them use the dark template and the other use the light template? I would really like to differentiate between my two types of photography. Please let me know if this is possible so I can move ahead and purchase your theme!
By default there is an option to apply a skin globally for the whole theme, but not different skins for different pages. If you have some basic PHP coding knowledge – implementing this would require just checking the IDs of the pages you want to apply the skin to when the theme loads the CSS for the skin. Or alternatively you can set a multisite WordPress installation and create two different sites (within the same domain) for the different skins you would like to apply.

Im very pleased with the look of this template and thinking about purchasing it. I only got one simple question before I decide to do so: is it possible to add for example 100 photos at once into a gallery without having to resize them, or is it only possible to add one photo at a time. Because i got a lot of pictures to upload and add and if i need to do this all by hand itll take me months to get ready.. I hope the question is clear enough..
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme
When creating a gallery, there is an option to upload the images within the slider in bulk (at once), however the images in there are displayed in their real size, so if your images are too big, you would still have to resize them. Regarding the single items in the gallery – they are added one by one and they have automatic image resizing enabled for their thumbnails. If you want you can watch this video to see how the gallery page and its items are created.
I update the logo, but nothing happens. I have tried several logos but the default logi remains. What to do?
P.S. When posting please provide a link to your site so we can have a look.
I am new to Wordpress… I love your theme and would like to purchase it.
My question is : do I need to have photoshop to install this theme?
I’m glad you like the theme
You don’t need PhotoShop to install the theme, you only need a WordPress installation and you can install and use the theme right away.
Thank you for fast reply! I was confused by the info that some files are in PSD… as my Mac after I instal Snow lepard doesn open PSD files.. its really confusing… I can install the theme on pc but all my photos are on Mac… I already have Wordpress installed in the scripst on my host site, thank you for mentioning that!
I managed to upload my logo manually via ftp.
But the upload function doesnt work and I cant change bg colors or anything.
Please contact me and help me with this problem.

I have already posted a reply to the ticket you have opened on our support site – you can check it in there.
it was no help
and there is not much info on the support page.videos and documents are way out dated
As I already posted on your support ticket, we always try to keep everything up to date – for example with the last WordPress update we have recorded a new video for creating a grid gallery and released a theme update with updated instructions in the documentation. However sometimes with so many different resources of information that we have released, it is possible to miss something and if you have found something that is misleading in our instructions, you can let us know about it on our support site and we will get it fixed.

I have a website currently with hosting running, but I want to change to a theme from Themeforest. So my question is – is it possible for me to buy and download the theme and get it ready on my computer without going live with it. Or do I need hosting to be able to edit and manage the site?
You can create a local installation and then export the data from it to the real installation, but I think that WordPress can’t import the images from a localhost installation, so you may have to reupload the images or if you already have them already uploaded, just apply them to the posts and pages. Another option would be just to set an example installation on your localhost, just to see how the theme works and how to get what you need and then quickly apply the modifications on your existing installation.
I’ve could prove that the charge of this theme is very slow, so I have a question. What could I do to improve the time to charge if I would decide to buy it?
The gallery itself is very lightweight and the whole loading depends on the images added. The gallery slider can be optimized further by activating its partial loading functionality (which is not activated on the demo), which will display the slider as soon as the first image is loaded and in the same time will load the other images in background – this makes it really fast even with big amounts of images.
I would like to center all of my images in a grid gallery.. Is this possible?
I have purchased this theme for my WordPress site but am not sure if it is even possible to upload??
Word Press Support says:
“Because of the way WordPress.com’s technical infrastructure is designed, we are not able to support uploading of custom WordPress themes, even if you purchased an upgrade”.
Is it possible to use this theme now that I’ve purchased it? and how do I implement it into my Word Press please?
The blogs hosted on WordPress.com support only their own themes, they don’t allow uploading custom themes. If you want to upload your own custom theme, you need to have a standard WordPress installation installed on your own hosting. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here.
thank you for great helps, patience and fast support…

Hi, How Can I Show more 10 items on home page portfolio? Thanks
P.S. You can set this in the “Number of portfolio items to show per load/page” field of the gallery page.
