Hi, i’m using your wonderful theme at my blog http://plexique.de
But i have two problems:
1) I’m on the main page and want to see older entries. But i always see the articles from the first page. At the browser i see the url for second page, but content is from first page.
It seems to be an error in loop.php, but i’m not quite sure.
2) In your options, i choose “Show related post below Post content?”, but i can’t see any related content.
E.g.: http://www.plexique.de/mueang-boran-ancient-city-%E2%80%93-part-ii
I think i should see related posts/articles to the keyword “thailand”, but there is nothing.

as for the 1st problem, did you change anything in code or using some plugins which may have effect on loop? I’ll try to help you but I’d need login and password to your wp-admin (you can create temporary admin account for me, just send info via contact form on my profile page)
as for the 2nd problem, it should display similar posts based on Tags, but if it doesn’t work it migh be related to the cause of 1st problem.

I got the slider working, but for some reason the thumbnails do not match the full size images.

http://www.dolsphoto.comThat’s strange, it must be something with setting in gallery box in post editor. There are two select boxes “Gallery order photos ” and “Gallery order ASC /DESC ”. What you have selected there? Try to change it and see if it makes any better. That’s the only place which is responsible for sorting photos, and it’s the same code for both thumbnails and big photos, so it should be okey. Let me know what was the effect of this, if it won’t help will try to find some solution. Cheers

I just purchased the theme yesterday, and I noticed that when I create a custom menu with a “category” page in it such as this one in your demo environment: http://www.demo.purethemes.net/photopurepress/category/portraits/
I end up with all the category listed, not only the one requested, have a look at my page: http://www.maxduval.com/?cat=5 (accessible from “summery stuff” menu)
Only one category should show up since I have only one post associated with the summery stuff category (Summer 2011), yet they are all displayed.
I have noticed your URLs are formatted differently, is there a specific URL format I should use for it to work ?

Found a strange one on my site – is there some sort of limitation to how many photos can be in one gallery? – I put just over 200 in a family gallery and it does not show the photo only the thumbnail – any ideas?
Hi, 200 photos is way to many, before they all get loaded the script won’t count total width of all images which is needed to display slider correctly. Total width of photos shouldn’t be more than 60000 pixels, and assuming each photo in your case is 800px wide, it’s more than 160000px. My advice is to split it to more posts, and group them for example by category
Hi, I just purchased and installed this theme for a friend on my WPMU install. I have the following plugins enabled on his site: Extended Super Admin, Faster Image Insert, Google Analytics, WordPress MU Domain Mapping and TimThumb Vulnerability Scanner. As soon as enabling this theme the admin section of the blog gets horribly slow. I’ve changed the permissions to 777 for the cache folder, deleted and reinstalled the theme but with no change… as soon as i enabled a different theme the admin pages go back to being normal and fast… any thoughts?

to be honest I haven’t tested it with WPMU , but I’ll try to check it. BTW , you should know that using WordPress theme for WPMU install requires Extended Licence and I can see that you bought regular license.

well at this point the theme is not even useable let alone upgrading the license…
I’ve installed it on WP Multiuser (however it’s on localhost) and there were no errors, no difference in performence and theme works just fine. If you can give me access to your installation I could try to check what’s wrong and fix it.

I’ve used the theme for a wedding photography blog I did for a friend of mine: www.velinpetkov.com/blog/
However, the slider doesn’t behave properly, especially in Chrome, doesn’t show the images horizontally, only vertically. In other browsers a refresh is needed so that they can be displayed correctly.

Hi. I used this theme since juni ‘11. But still I have some problems with it.
1) If i took over 10 photos in one photopost, the animation to next photo works wrong. So the previous photo is still there, an the new one is cutted down. Do you know what i mean?
2) I bought your other theme too. Is there a posibhilty to bring the new sliders in a photo post into this theme?

Maybe a stupid question: can PhotoPurePress only be used on sites made with WordPress or can I integraate it on self-coded sites?
It’s just a WordPress theme, you can convert it to anything you want, but it depends on your skill with PHP , HTML and CSS
I love the template, however, I have checked it on a PC, Mac, iphone, and android phone. It shows up on all but the android based phone. the only thing that shows up is the left arrow. no navigation, no header, and no images.
Is there a fix for this?

did you made any changes in theme? It’s strange that your front side is cut off on the left and right side, slider should be fullscreen. I’ll check it on android and try to fix it.
If i did make any changes they were unintentional. Can you assist me in correcting it?

Hello, recently purchased this awesome theme but having a minor issue…
If I change ANY of the Photopure options from the control panel it throws the home page display off. It causes me to have to reset the settings to get back to normal. Even changing something as simply as the color changes the display!

Love the Theme! I encouraged my friend to purchase it and I’m now helping him to set it all up. (So I have not purchased it, but my friend has!)
I’m trying to control the crop on the post thumbnails. On a photographers’ site random crops of peoples’ faces in thumbnails looks unprofessional.
I have installed regenerate plugin. I have also found an excellent plugin called ‘Post Thumbnail Editor’ ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-thumbnail-editor/ ) It is SO quick and easy to use…. but the thumbnails on the site don’t change after I have altered their crop with this plugin! I think it’s because they’re generated and cached in Timthumb….? I think this ‘Post Thumbnail Editor’ plug-in needs to be working with WP thumbnails. (I am guessing)
Can I change the Photopurepress theme to make it work with the ‘Post Thumbnail Editor’ plugin? Maybe use WP thumbnail generator instaed of Timthumb?
Or can you think of another easy way to correct the random crops that Timthumb does on my post thumbnails?

Hi, First of I love your theme. Been using it for sometime now. http://michaelkalbo.com/ But now I’ve decided to make a small change which is to only have 3-4 (post) sets on my page.
My question is, how can I place these sets on the middle of the page (versus the default of being on the top side of the page).

if I understand correctly, after you change number of displayed posts to 4, add in style.css (at the end)#posts { margin: 130px auto; }it will create space under and over posts container.If you’d like to change it in a way where it would be always in the center of web browser window – no matter what size it is, it’s a little bit more tricky and would require bigger changes. Rzepak, Thanks for the quick response. I got it to my liking as of now. Though I have another problem. The version I’ve been using is rather old, so I download the newest version on my test site to configure it to my liking.

you’ve probably used Automatic slider, and there’s option “Remove double posts” so post in slider won’t display also as thumbnails. If it’s set to “yes”, just disable it. You probably have only one category and that’s why there’s nothing to show.

I think the best way would be using text widget and adding it in footer. But if you want to make changes in code, you’ll need to edit footer.php in theme folder. You can contact me via my profile page if you’ll need more help with it.

PS : I found a bug : if you look galleries, you reduce windows and open Gallerie disappear… :/
Easy way to add Facebook and Twitter links can would be using some plugin for that, I’m sure there are plenty of them. If not, you need to edit single.php to put FB code there

I purchased this theme a week ago and have been looking through all of the documentation to help me develop the site that I’m hoping for. However, i’m still having a few problems. For example, the logo doesn’t seem to be loading. When i upload the logo and set the image size, nothing displays. I’ve tried multiple times, shrinking the logo each time to check whether it’s too large. It’s now 45px square but still nothing. Is there anything else that i should try?
