Hi I’m thinking of buying this item for an image gallery. I have more than 50 images to display as thumbs Do you think this will be possible with your theme, especially pagination.

you can check some comments here to see websites of other buyers, where they sometimes use a lot of photos. I don’t think it will be problem, but 50 photos in one post in my opinion is a lot, and they will take some time to load.

Is it possible (if yes, where) to display an equal number of thumbs on te homepage?
For instance, at this moment, I’ve set a 3 column display, and it shows a total of 10 thumbs (portfolio’s). However,I want it to be 12 thumbs (portfolio’s). See: www.martijnsmouter.nl Where can I change this?

You can control number of displayed posts by setting it in wp-admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Blog pages show at most XX posts

It works even in IE8 and no one reported that kind of bug earlier, so I don’t know what could be wrong.. You’re running on Win7?

I’ve actually figured most of it out the more I’ve played around with it tonight. Just took me some time. Only real question I have now is if I have the ability to have a header at the top to position social media icons, etc or does this them only have the ability for a footer. A sidebar would be nice to as well if that would work. Thanks in advance.
I did forget one more thing. My new theme is still showing post from my old theme below it even though the old one is deactivated. Do I need to delete this to get it to go away? I tried a new post in the new theme and it still does the same thing.
Theme and posts are independent things. If you’re changing theme you’re just changing how your website looks, it’s not related with posts which are your website content. If you don’t want older post you need to delete them.
As for social icons, there is widget you can put in footer, (Apperance -> Widgets). This theme doesn’t have sidebar.
I understand that changing themes is just going to change the appearance of the site. However, when I look at older post and even if I make a new post in the new theme it displays the post as both themes. I’m just trying to get it to post as it should with this theme only and not sure how. Take a look at my link and you’ll see. Just pull up one of the post and you’ll see it displayed at the top as the larger pics and the smaller icon pics below them (how this theme shows it should view). Then scroll down and you’ll see the exact same post as if it was posted using my older theme from ProPhoto. http://www.bradlovellphotography.com/blog I just don’t want the same post displayed twice on the page.
You just need to edit each post and remove [gallery] shortcode from content.
Is there a way to highlight the current page? I’ve tried the traditional Wordpress approach but to no avail…

Still loving your theme! One question though.
I want to link (excisting) images from the library to multiple photoposts. I can’t get it to work this way, only when I upload new images it works. There are some images I want to show in different posts. I do not want to upload them again, so I have the same image twice in the library. Any thougths? Tnx!

Unfortunately now it’s the only way to upload files again. It would require some heavy changes to the functions made for this theme. I could try to do it but it would be custom modification. You can contact my via email to discuss details if you’re interested.

If I understand your problem correctly, post thumbnails can appear only on index/category or archive pages. You should put you galleries in posts to be able to browse them in that way, not in Pages.

ad1. try to use plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to generate new thumbnails,
ad2. Go to Settings – Reading – Blog pages show at most 6.

ok i just made a dumb mistake…through my wordpress dashboard>general: i change my website address to another address…which is now a disaster. i can’t login again, cause it keeps redirecting me to a wrong address…

hi, in FAQ “change thumbnails size”
First. Open index.php and look for line with “h=280&w=280&zc=1” These are parametrs for timThumb script, to resize images. As you probably guess, h is for height, w is for width. Just change it to your values.
why i don’t see any line with “h=280&w=280&zc=1” in my index.php?

but in the option panel, i can only type in the “height” of my thumbnail and the width is already fixed at “280” for 3 columns.
and i want to change the setting so the thumbnails is not too far from each other.. is it padding?

body.thin.col3 .thumb:nth-child(3n+2) { margin: 16px 25px; }by changing 25px value to something lower you will make the gap smaller, but it might broke layout sometimes.

2. can i change the thumbnail width? because in the option setting, thumbnail width is fixed depends on how many columns we chose
