I now have the Photorific theme uploaded to my WordPress site. However, there are still some problems I can’t figure out. In the first place, my default background image shows up on every page except my landing page, which has a white screen. Why won’t my default background image show on my landing page? My landing page is abeachweddingmaui.com. I created an empty “Home” page with no content, and the background image appears on that, but the fact is, if the landing page is blank, no one is actually going to think to click on “Home”.
Also, I can’t figure out how to actually make the default background image into a slideshow.
What do I need to do to correct the problem?

How to set up a slide gallery preview? In my case the photos are not in the same ligthbox so it is impossible to slide through it when clicking the thumbnails.

Hello, I have installed the theme and now having problem with gallery,. I have already changed in taxonomy-gallery_category.php. from “rel=”prettyPhoto” to “rel=”prettyPhoto[gal]”
Everything is working fine, just the galleries are not showing the images. Caden can you please help or some who had the same problem. Thanks

Does this theme work on mobile platforms including iPhone? My tests on iPhone show the menu is missing?

You could maybe use WP Touch plugin as an alternative. It’s a plugin that whenever people visit on their phone it makes it easier to use.
I have used WP Touch plugin before, but my experience has been that if there is a code weakness in the theme it will still not translate well for iPhone or Tablets.
Can you confirm WP Touch works for your theme before purchase?
As you know by 2013, web access via Smartphones / Tablets will overtake laptop/desktops. This means its critical the theme work on phones.
Can you get back asap on this point?

I checked on my iPhone and the theme works fine just normally and while using WP Touch.

For me on my iPhone, the theme works fine normally and when using WP Touch plugin. I can’t really say about the iPad as I do not have one to test with myself.
I am working with Photorific today and see that the preview page and the support forums are no longer live. Is this permanent or can we expect these sites to go online again?
I also emailed Caden and haven’t heard back in about a month (give or take)

This theme does not come with any translation files, sorry.
Anyway to make a video play in the background of the homepage slider?
Sorry, but there is no option to play videos as backgrounds. I’m sure you could find a developer in the ThemeForest forums or other Web design forums that could integrate this feature for pretty cheap. I would recommend doing that if you want video backgrounds or doing it yourself.

hi i’ve installed the theme on WP and just get the white screen of death? i know its the theme cause when i remove it this problem goes away. any help?
What are the steps you took to install it? Sometimes if it’s installed incorrectly that can happen.

downloaded the files, uploaded them to my hosting account in the wp themes folder. it appeared in wordpress and i clicked activate
also just tried uploading it straight from the zip file and its says missing the style.css sheet, even though it is there
