Is there a way to change the font on the light box? I tried to edit the CSS file
font: 10px Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
The font seams to be “stubborn” and it won’t change. It keeps showing as Times Roman.
Is there a way to tweak things?
I really love the template but never liked Times Roman fonts. I would really appreciate if you could help me to have Arial or Verdana on the light box.

The template breaks in Firefox 2. It opens a new gallery for each category and leaves the previous as continually loading. I have purchased this and would appreciate a fix asap…many thanks.

Oh i see. Sorry for that, must be the latest changes I did to the script without testing it in FF2 . I will fix the the problem, upload here the fixed theme and send you an email with the new files.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

This looks like the perfect theme for my needs.
I would like to use this theme as my photo-gallery as a separate page on my main blog.
I have a few questions:
Is it easy to replace the Pic Press logo on left with a panoramic photo at the top?
How many categories can you have across the top and so that form rows if more?
Thanks
Niels
mustardamussays
It’s not a big hassle to replace the logo with a panoramic photo. And the number of categories depends on the width. If we remove the logo we can get more categories in one line (also by changing spaces and whatnot). And if there are more categories than fitting in one line it breaks smooth into a new line aligned to the right.
Fell free to contact me at contact@mustardamus.com so I can help you.

I loaded the theme fine and even added a few pictures.
When I initialized Pcipress if gives me the blog, but there is no place to login in and add more photos.
Am I doing something wrong?
How do I edit it in the future without re-installing?
This happen both in FF and IE.
Thanks
Niels

You login in you Wordpress and writing new Posts as described here: http://picpress.mustardamus.com/category/post-a-picture/
Note that the admin theme of my wordpress is this: http://deanjrobinson.com/projects/fluency-admin/ So it look different from original wordpress admin backend.

I did fallow your instuctiosn to the letter for setting up this theme.
When theme initialized and then view page, there is no place to login to get to admin. (see)

Are you saying that I should load this admin plugin so I can access my pcipress theme?
Does it give me an address to login into or is there a login link on main page like normal blogs.
OR should I add a login script on one of my pages.
thanks again.
Niels

Your wordpress login is always located at http://nielsp.ca/cameraworldphoto/wp-admin . You may want to set yourself a bookmark or add a link in the footer.
You don’t need fluency admin plugin, it’s just my choice over the default admin theme

Thanks for that tip and all your help.
I will try that pluign but sometimes being such a newbie, means it will take me longer to figure out the simple things.

Any idea on when? It’s been a couple of weeks and I would really like to get started on this. If it’s a quick fix I’d be happy to do it myself so I can get moving forward.
Many thanks!

Awesome theme, just have a couple of questions:
1.) Has this been tested with wordpress 2.7? any reason why it wouldn’t work with 2.7?
2.) When the site first loads it displays the category WOOD . Is it possible to have it display a normal page as the home page? i.e. ABOUT PICPRESS and have the “Pages” menu open rather than the CATEGORIES menu?
Thanks
Pedro

Mustardamus,
On the About page in the demo for PicPress the text hyperlinks don’t work (I tried Safari and Firefox).
This is also the case in the version of PicPress I just purchased and installed, text links don’t work.
How can I get text hyperlinks to work normally, so I can link to other sites?
Apart from this issue I’m having, I love the theme, thanks.

Mustardamus,
I recently purchased your PicPress theme for Wordpress. I’m very happy with the theme, and the quality is excellent.
There is however one issue. When I click an image to see the full size version, no image is displayed. The black box with the loading symbol appears and the rest of the screen darkens as it is supposed to, but the image itself never displays, it just loads constantly.
I have no idea what would cause this issue, is there is a way to fix it?
Thanks,

Hello Mustardamus,
I love the theme also but am having the same problem as BlogStew with the perpetual loader and the images not appearing in full size. Will you be posting an answer here? If not, you can contact me at nikta@netidea.com.
Thanks!
