Hi, I have set up my mailchimp account and successfully configured the mailchimp widget in Wordpress but I cannot figure out how to format the Mailchimp form action URL that will be used when people enter their email address into the subscribe form. Could you please help ?
Thanks Max
Hi Max,
Thanks for the purchase, and sure – I’ll happily help
What you want to do is login to your mailchimp account, and then follow these instructions:
> Lists
> Create Forms
> Share It
> Create HTML Code For A Small Subscribe Form
> Check the HTML code for the link within the form action attribute
Hope that helps, will add it to the FAQ
- Ed
Hi Ed, It works ! Thank you. One more question. I would like the user to click on subscribe, from the pinpoint theme, enter his email address, and then be redirected to the full subscribe form instead of the small one. I have notice I can do this by using the main subscribe form URL.
What I would like to happen if possible is to have the email address the user entered in the pinpoint theme page to be automatically filled in when the main subscribe form appears. Can I do that ?
Thank you
Max
Hi there,
Not sure how that would work, unless it’s something that mailchimp supports?
- Ed
An alternative could be to eliminate the email address pop-up field from the theme and go straight to the subscribe form when the user clicks on ‘SUBSCIRBE’. Can I do this somehow ?
Thank you !
Max
I don’t think that’s used for dynamic fields. It’s made for pre-selecting or pre-filling forms with pre-defined content – not with an email that a user has just entered.
- Ed
Really amazing theme!
Question – would it possible in the configuration options to mimic the color (and perhaps also the speed) of this theme’s menus/sub-menus?
Thanks Brian!
Yes, easy to mimic the color, and I could provide you with some code to speed it up
- Ed
Awesome, you sold me! We’ll be in touch!
Sure, shout whenever you need anything
- Ed
Hi how difficult is it to add a custom font into the template? Like for the menu.
Would just be adding the font in the required places (custom css box for e.g.) then manually stating the font-family for:
Hope that helps!

I am using buddypress and the theme footer is not fitting the buddypress layout and I cant figure out how to fix it: http://norge.salon.no/brukergrupper/

Hi there,
Looks like the buddypress implementation is overwriting some of the key structure to the theme. Can you please log a support ticket at http://support.swiftpsd.com so we can take a look?
Thanks,

Hello Ed,
Two questions: 1- How can I change the color of the active tab within the Tab Element? It keeps the blue by default but I need to change it (here at the bottom for reference: http://www.voalabs.org/wordpress/?page_id=445)
2- I can’t see any SEO options, do I need to install an extra plugin?
That’s it! Thanks in advance, Perla
Hi Perla,
1 – Use the following css:
.ui-state-active a, .ui-state-active a:link { color: #222!important; }2 – Yes, you can install any plugin you like
Hope that helps.
- Ed
Thanks a lot, yes it helped
Could you donate this theme to “Floarea de foc” romanian NGO? Thanks!
Hi there!
Sorry, but not sure what you mean?
- Ed
I purchased this theme, you have done a great job, congratulations. It is the best buy!!
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated!
- Ed
Hi, can set non-responsive?
Yes, there is an option in the theme options to easily enable/disable the responsiveness.
- Ed
Hi, how can i increase the size of the font inside the post ?
Thank you
We’re including options for this in v1.2, but for now:
body, p { font-size: 12px; }- Ed
This theme is one of the best I’ve seen so far, all the features are incredible and the support is very professional. Really recommend it!!!
Thank you very much for the feedback, it’s greatly appreciated
- Ed
Guys, you’ve got an awesome theme here….and what really makes you stand out is your support, absolutely first class!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you’re happy

Hi, I have a pretty long main menu and on iPad in portrait position it slips down in a second row. I think there are other people out there with the same trouble. For a better usability, what do you think to change it in a dropdown menu in the next upgrade, like in the smartphone screen? Is it a customization that I can do now?
Sure! Just use the following custom css:
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 959px) { #main-navigation { display: none; } #mobile-navigation { width: 300px; margin: 5px 203px 5px 30px; } }Hope that helps!
- Ed
Unfortunately it doesn’t work: the search/mail/login icons have shifted to the left and the main menu is not showing now
Sorry, missed one line!
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 959px) { #main-navigation { display: none; } #mobile-navigation { display: block; width: 300px; margin: 5px 203px 5px 30px; } }- Ed
almost done
the menu is showing, the icons shift down under it and both move to the left. It could be better if:
a) the icons float right on the same row of the menu
or
b) the icons still under the drop down menu but both centered in the container
Hmm, it’s showing fine for me.
Try reducing the 203px margin value to 200?
- Ed
anyway, a <170px value seems to work fine on my iPad, I don’t know on the others…
Just had a quick look on your site, this should be your final code to make it look perfect:
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 959px) { #main-navigation { display: none; } #mobile-navigation { display: block; width: 300px; margin: 10px 200px 10px 0px; } }- Ed
here we are
it looks really perfect know, thanks for your great support
You’re welcome
- Ed
I am considering purchasing your theme but have a couple questions.
1. Can you change the size of the image on the front page?
2. Can you make the image static for a given page? Can this image be different for subpages but remain static and not sliding?
3. Is the built in contact form usable or do you have to use some other plugin (I see a lot of mailchimp comments but won’t need anything other than basic email contact info which appears to be built in)?
Thank you!
Hey there!
1 – Yes, this is powered by the Revolution Slider that’s included. You can choose the height of each slider individually.
2 – Each page is unique, so you could use a slider, or just a static image if you like.
3 – The theme doesn’t come pre-packaged with a contact form, so that you can use your own plugin, or Contact Form 7 (which we recommend). It makes it incredibly easy to make basic contact forms which you can embed anywhere you like.
Hope that helps!
- Ed
Hi, how to make a “Learn more >” – animated link?
Thx.
Hi there!
You’ll want to use the following html:
I have posted several times in the support forum… Please could someone explain why the Swift Page builder has disappeared.
Thanks.
Hi Trine,
I checked last night and it was working fine, and you just sent a screenshot showing the button available to click to switch to the Page Builder view??
- Ed
Hi,
Great theme. Just bought it and learning.
I have one question. Is it possible that the page asset Blog displays something different than plain text excerpt? I would like to display Wordpress code for Soundcloud for example or embed YouTube. Otherwise users need to go to single posts pages to see the media content.
Thanks.
You can embed a YouTube video in the thumbnail if you select the video option from the thumbnail options. Unfortunately no support for soundcloud.

Hello! I am looking to have my homepage slider resized to be behind the header and menu bar. Please advise on how to do so. Thank you!
Hi there,
Please can you clarify what you mean by behind the header and menu bar?
- Ed
Thank you for the promt response. I am looking to have my header and menu bar transparent and I would like for the slider to lay behind it. Click here to see an example for what I mean http://pinterest.com/pin/198791771023148080/
Just checked out that site, and it’s an image? You would be better off using an image and the logo full option. Otherwise it would require a lot of customisation to make the header/nav etc transparent?
- Ed
Ok thanks. Where can I find the dimensions of the header/slideshow?
You can set the height in the Rev Slider plugin, and the width is 1000px when set to full width within the boxed layout.
Hope that helps.
