Hello, I can not translate your theme Pixellin, I have created the file fr_FR.po and fr_FR.mo that I added to the root of the theme and language is well defined in the file wp-config.php.

I’ve emailed the translation files three days ago.

Could you tell me if I’m doing something wrong and how to translate the theme in French?

Hi, Great theme! How do i update the theme without losing all the change/updates I did to the site? If i overwrite the theme file all my CSS will go back to your theme standard? There are no instructions on upgrading the theme core in your documentation. Please help:)

I am making a site with 3 different sections that all need different header menus. Can you please tell me how to do this? Does the template support this type of build?

Ex… Corporate menu, residential menu, commercial menu.

Each of these menus need to display as the header menu.

Yes, if a user chooses Corporate they would go to a page that has a menu specific to Commercial Services. If they choose Residential they go to a page with a menu specific to Residential Services. If they choose Franchises they go to a page with a menu that tells how to buy a franchise.

Hey Guys, I’m setting up a site for a friend and I love the theme!

One issue I’m running into is when I try to embed a video in flex slider using youtube embed code I get a ‘page not found’ in it’s spot. What am I doing wrong here?

When I put the youtube link I get just a blank slider page.

Just wanted to says thanks again for a wonderful theme, I’ve launched the site for my client and they are thrilled!

One small issue I thought I would inform you of though

The theme is incompatible with the very popular SEO plugin called “Headspace 2”. I use it on over 30 sites and have never had a problem.

The way the template files call the page’s title with this command: <?php wp_title($sep = ’’); ?> causes the meta title of the page, not the title of the page in Wordpress to be displayed in the sub header of every page.

So, instead, I changed all the instances of the above code in all places to <?php echo $post->post_title; ?>

And then the plugin works like on every other site. Thought you might want to know as I’m sure you can easily fix it Thanks again!

We are using Wordpress SEO by Yoast. When we add an SEO title, it is overriding our page title. Do you know how we could fix this problem?

I thought this might be helpful… could this be causing my issue? Just to clarify, when I add an SEO title in Yoast the SEO title does show in the title bar of the browser. The problem is that it is overwriting my actual page name / title which is being inserted as an H1 tag just below the main navigation. The SEO title is not a very pretty title for an H1 tag in the main section of the page…

Note: The wp_title() function should not be used by a theme in conjunction with other strings or functions (like concocting with bloginfo(‘name’) ) to set the title because it will render plugins unable to rewrite page titles correctly. The best practice is to use the wp_title filter with a callback function. This method is now a requirement for themes.
