I like this theme alot. Can I substitute a video and text for where the main pic slide is? Would this be hard to do?

Also, can I adjust the height of the header area? and insert a banner across possibly?

I have bought this theme and have worked exhaustively on it since then, so I will be the first to give a proper review on it:

Pros:

- Well designed, clean, havnt had any problems as far as Wordpress implementation is concerned.

- Excellent Documentation in the form of short videos with no audio. Clearly shows how to get each section running. Invaluable for people looking to fire up this theme quickly.

- Excellent custom admin panel. Lots of options easily laid out.

- Nice set of custom short codes which work as advertised without any problems.

Cons:

- Timthumb.php is used extensively in this theme and its a real shame. This plugin should be banned from Wordpress forever, and many other theme developers have wisely stopped using it. Timethumb.php strips images of its color profile, resulting in images that when uploaded look unsaturated and with muted colors. There is no real work around to this. Please don’t use it for future themes.

- Pages created for other sections don’t have the ability to feature an image on top – just a headline. There should be an option to include an image, since the a headline-only top looks a bit empty and breaks the nice design.

- Recent news widget does not omit slider category properly.

- Clicking on the logo does not always return you to home as expected. Instead it returns you to whatever page you are currently in, which is redundant.

- There should be an option to take off the “Pretty Picture” functionality. Most clients who click on an image want to go to the post associated with it, not a bigger image.

This is all for now. Despite its drawbacks the theme is still solid because the design is well thought out and original for a wordpress theme. A fix on these issues would sky rocket the sales of this theme. (hint, hint)

The most critical update is to add the ability to put an image on top in other pages, just like the home page. ( A slider isn’t even necessary, just a single image, same dimensions like the slider).

quick question, there is no way of editing the testimonials once submitted right?, except delete and resubmit…

Plus a comment which is just something you forgot, I set a custom prefix for my wordpress installation, but the theme (testimonials for example) is using the default prefix:

“( ‘SELECT * from wp_’.THEME_NAME.’_testimonials’);”

I also bought this theme. Its excellent with good documentation via video tutorials. I do agree with Valor, The page headline area is prime real estate on the theme and we must be able to not only add images but embed video as well. In addition I would like to have the option of not using the slider on the front page but to use text, images and video like the other pages.

Flexibility in these areas will only increase sales for sure!

I purchased this theme instantly because I already had purchased the psd and I loved the design, Unfortunately I regret it ever since, The theme isn’t really flexible.

- Once a testimonial is submitted there is no way of editing it (without direct mysql) - The theme isnt compatible with other plugins like Contact Form 7. - You are required to choose a pattern, you cannot select ‘none’. - The default contact form requires users to enter a website, but in my experience not everybody wants this or has a website (yet). - The normal h-tags do not work, so the only way is to use the themeskingdom H2(with subtitle) tag, but if you have a longer piece of text only 1 tag is …. not ideal.

At this time I rated the theme simply 1 star, because it is unusable for me. Waiting and hoping for updates….

You Need to clean up the theme header and enqueue scripts properly 3.3 update broke the slider.

My ISP provider restricts large file downloads and I’ve been unable to access the single zipped file since purchase despite several attempts. Is there a way I can get the individual files inside the theme zip folder? Tried Envato Support but no response.

How do you add some text in the area below the header on the page template as in the preview demo?

And the contact form submit button ain’t working for me! How do you activate the form?

But I would particularly ask you to address the page headline issue as am already using a different contact plugin for the contact page.

On the page headline, worked around it and it now works, but I didn’t realize there had to be a headline link for it to go active. More documentation on this would be appropriate!

What is the font used for the logo?

Hi I purchased the html version. Do you have a solution for the layout errors caused by the lines in the header and text area in ie7?
