Dear Pirenko, I have problems with the vertical menu. my question is how you can incorporate other scripts.

we need to incorporate a js but the template is broken and js is this: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4/jquery.min.js
That certainly breaks the template… That’s a really old version of jQuery and will conflict with the theme native functions.

Digging the theme, getting my head round it and will post URL to show it off soon.
However, ran in to an issue. Want to embed youtube videos as the featured image. Youtube has a requirement that the video height be no less than 200px. It will not play if it is any smaller.
The problem arises in most wide screen formats.
This video requires 356px width by 200px height. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m89pFYHHuUAClearly 356px is outside the container width of the featured image.
Any suggestions?

The videos plays fine here on any screen size. Can you tell me what browser you are using and on what resolution do you have issues?

I’m on Firefox 17.0 on MACOSX 10 .6.8 and this does not happen. Can you test on a machine similar to yours?
Just tested on another windows machine with firefox, updated both to 17. Still no joy.
What I find strange is that I can view your embedded videos set as featured image on your example page. Wonder if I am missing a plugin or changing a setting perhaps?

In the theme settings: Force images to have the same height? This feature applies only for the Classic Blog Style
Seeing as I have it set to masonry, the blog, I didn’t think this would matter. But I set it to NO and it now works correctly.
Not sure if this was intended.

just purchased and downloaded this file… went to install theme on WordPress install failed. due to file missing style.css unzipped to look around on desktop. file is definitely there. so is this wp problem?

Currently you can only use 10 images. To change that option some files need to be changed and I can only implement it as a paid customization. You can upload multiple images at the same time, but you have to assign one by one to each specific position.

I wonder how you do that menu below the portfolio. The time that I click on portfolio opens all clientes.E if I want to enter into some categora I click on it and appears only those customers that particular category., How do I do that?

For the parent menu button you should use a Custom Link and for the URL use #
For the children buttons just drag the Skills to somewhere under that parent menu button.

I check the Qtranslate and WPML Multilingual CMS and the best is the second one. it’s more flexible and you got more the control of the languages. Have a little problems because it can’t translate the skills and alos the porfolio works it just translate the contents of the blog. and the menu. You can implement this problems? Best regard!
The theme allows translation using the provided .pot, .mo and .po files. If you are not familiarized with the process just google for wordpress translation ready and you can see how it’s done.

1) When I resize the browser the image on the slider jumps. is there anyway of fixing this, so the image doesn’t move?
2) Also is it possible to get rid of the read more button on a post excerpt
3) When you hover over the portfolio pictures, the picture goes darker, is there anyway to make this a little bit lighter so it isn’t as dark. Additionally I would like to use the portfolio categories but I don’t want these to appear over the images – is this possible
4) I am having some trouble using a widget on pages plugin. The post/page is striping out additional HTML tags. The HTML tags produced by the widgets on pages plugin and the ones produced by the twitter widget are all stripped out… this has the impact that the JS isn’t run and instead the code is just output as plain text.
Do you know how I can modify the theme to make this work?

Here are my comments:
1 – The image has to move and resize so that it adjusts to the screen size. That’s the whole idea of a responsive theme. We resize the screen to see what happens, but most of the visitors don’t need to resize it.
2 – Use post excerpts in addition to your content. If you make these excerpts small enough in terms of character length the button won’t be displayed.
3 – You can adjust the opacity by opening the main.js file and searching for “grid_colored_block”. Adjust the opacity value for the hover event. To hide the skills add this custom CSS code:
.inner_skills,.divider_grid {display:none;}4 – This seems to be a plugin issue, because other plugins work perfectly.

In terms of number 4 – Something is also happening where all of the formatting is striped from the post when it is just an excerpt/preview of the post. If you could let me know how to fix this asap that would be wonderful

As for this open the custom.php and remove the lines of code that have this text “strip_tags”.

Unfortunately I have not managed to remove read more. The excerpts are short enough that it shouldn’t appear. Yet they are still there. And removing the lines of code that contained strip_tags didn’t help sadly.
If you have any other suggestions or can help at all I would be really grateful.

In installed your theme update and noticed a better performance with the soundcloud widget….anyway I have to signal a new issue which occurs on Chrome (as seen on my mac): when there is a fullscreen image page background the soundcloud widget (HTML5) hets duplicated. Do you think there is a possible fix?
