Hi, how do you get the nice custom login popup that is shown on the demo site?
If you haven’t done so already please submit your support questions at http://ghostpool.ticksy.com where I will answer them shortly.
Sorry for the inconvenience but we do point this out in the help file, item page and your theme options page.
Hi, does this theme has to be active on the main site?
or can I have all features of showing network wide posts etc
if I use in on a sub site?
The theme needs to be installed on the main site in order to use these features. If you want a different look on the main site, use a child theme that overwrites the styling of Plexus.
Can I make Left Side/Content/Right Side layout with this template?. I would like to use in home page but I can not see it in demo page layouts.
The theme does not come with a 3 column page template. However you can use the 3 column element that comes the Visual Composer page builder to add a sidebar either side of central content.
I want to build a buddypress multisite network with your plexus theme and have some questions:
1. I want to display advertisements in theme sidebar. It is possible to create a global sidebar or widget on all blog sites, so I can display global advertisements?
2. Can I denied user access to my wordpress backend and user can make blog posts on front end?
Thanks and best regards,
1) The theme does not support global sidebars, this is quite difficult to do because it’s something I wanted to include. I suggest looking for a plugin that offers this functionality, otherwise you will need to add your widgets directly to the sidebar.php.
2) This is certainly possible but the theme does not have this functionality. You’ll probably need to use the Capability Manager and Gravity Forms plugins to achieve this.
thanks for your answer. So I understand the following: It is possible to make global sidebar or widgets, but I must work intern with php?
It is possible to create a global sidebar or widget and multisite blog users can not edit this? I think this is a important feature for the network, so I have full controll.
Yes, you will need to use PHP to edit the files, unless you can find a plugin that offers this functionality.
As I say I wanted to include this, but I’ve not found a way to do it.
The category images on our installed Plexus theme are not showing. We did use a child theme to customise it but have not made any functional changes.
Anyone had that problem before? If so what was your solution? If not, what is the solution? I’m stumped on this. Thanks.

I’d appreciate a reply as soon as humanly possible. Thank you for your support, advice and help in advance.
I’m deciding between Plexus and Buddy.
1. From the point of view of a web purely for social network, which of the two themes would you recommend?
2. Which of the two themes is more advanced in terms of programming is concerned?
1) A social network is a very broad term so without knowing specific I would say Buddy. Both themes work with BuddyPress, but Plexus has additional multisite features you probably won’t need for a social networking site.
2) Again, programming is a very broad term. If you mean which theme has the most advanced features and/or coding, then Plexus is a little better in this department since it’s a newer theme. However Buddy isn’t far behind and is always updated to include important advances in my framework.
Does the theme come with a child theme?
Yes it does.
Hi there, I’d installed the theme 3 times, but still can’t get the layout and dont know how to set up to get this Live demo, pls advise how I can make it.
Besides, the menu is not display normally, nothing there even I’d created one with other names, I can only preview it from the Appearance -> Customize page, but can’t see the menu at the Live site, pls advise also.
It looks like there are some issues on this page (in chrome) – http://demoblog6.plexus.wpengine.com/ or most subpages :
Also do you offer paid installation option with bbpress and multsite? If so, how much?
Thanks for making me aware of this. This issue bug has now been fixed.
I do not provide paid installation. I provide free support with helping you set up the theme and this does include basic help with multisite and bbPress.
I was looking for something on your theme and couldn’t find it.
For example 5 different users create blogs, all are in 1 category. Can I dispaly those 5 blog posts in that 1 category?
I don’t see a general “blog” page on your site that showcases all the combined posts from other authors
Yes absolutely. You can this on the homepage demo site already. Scroll down to the Sitewide Categories section and you’ll see posts from different blogs under the same categories. Below this is the Sitewide Posts section where you have a list of posts across the whole network also.
How come images are not showing up on those sitewide category pages
This is an oversight. So to confirm currently the posts imported from other blogs do not display their post thumbnails on the main site categories. However you can set up your own category pages using the Sitewide Categories widget that will display thumbnails.
I will work on a fix so that categories will display post thumbnails.
A little confused by your last statement but it seems like you will fix this. Please reply here when it is fixed and I will buy. Also is it possible to use subfolders instead of subdomains for members?
Basically you can achieve categories with images using the Sitewide Categories widget until I fix the normal categories.
I will let you know when this is fixed.
You can use subdirectories for blogs if that is what you mean?
This has now been fixed.
I’ve already bought and installed the theme. How can I update it?
For information on how to receive update notifications and update the theme please see http://ghostpool.com/help/vivacity/help.html#theme-updates
My programmer is saying there is some plexus plugin he needs that was not included in the zip?
How to edit the content on the page – /site-tracking/create/
Sorry to enter this here but when I go to your support page my browser is reporting an error, so cannot post a support query.
What error is your browser reporting? I’m not able to replicate any error when accessing the support site.
I will say your question is asking how to edit a page generated by the BuddyPress plugin, this has nothing to do with the theme really. I suggest directing your question to BuddyPress support at http://buddypress.org/support where they will be able to give you a better answer.
This is the message I get in Chrome:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to ghostpool.ticksy.com
Did you mean: ticksy.com
I tried in Firefox and the browser just keeps trying to connect to the site. Been doing this for days. Cannot connect to the site
This is message in Firefox:

Thanks man thought I was being picked on!!
Not at all. Looks like Ticksy is now working again.
Can I use this theme with MarketPress plugin to build multishop? Thanks!
The theme has not been tested with MarketPress, however I don’t see any reason why it would not work.
this template with shortcodes?
The theme comes with shortcodes, but instead of inserting the shortcodes into your page, you can use the Visual Composer page builder to insert them. Visual Composer comes fully integrated with the theme and allows you to build layout such as inserting columns, buttons, posts visually without seeing the shortcodes.
I am wanting to make a blogging network, and hoping to make the registering, blog creation and blog editing, all front-end. I read in a previous comment that this could be possible with Capability Manager and Gravity Forms. Is this possible and how would I go about doing it?
To confirm, you can create blogs from the front-end with Plexus (using BuddyPress plugin). You cannot create blog posts from the front-end by default, however as I suggested to the other person who asked this, you can use the Capability Manager and Gravity Forms plugins. Capability Manager allows you to give users permissions to make/edit blog posts and the Gravity Forms plugin allows you to create a form on the front-end that can be used to make blog posts.
I have been having some trouble getting posts from other blogs in my multisite to appear. As you can see on gedb.org, the ‘Sitewide Categories’ widget is at the top and it only shows posts and categories from my main site. I have a couple other sub-sites (gedb.org/reviews and gedb.org/news) that have a lot of posts in them. I’ve set up the ‘Sitewide Tags’ option on my multisite but posts still don’t appear. Any idea?
I’d like to be able to edit the users name in the right nav area. How can I edit this pls?
Just a question before purchasing: is Plexus compatible with Cube Points? Does it work fine with it? Many thanks.
I have not tested the theme with Cube Points so I cannot say for sure but I don’t see any reason why it would not work with the theme.
before Buy i have query
Maxmium number of blog it can handle if each blog have at least 100 post?
Please note that WordPress Multisite handles all the blogs, not the theme itself. According to Multisite there is no limit to how many blogs or posts per blog.
