I’ve updated my twitter name (and twitter URL ) in the theme options panel, but I’m still showing a tweet from envato on the home page. How can I fix this?
If you see there are Theme Options is the common options of the whole theme. Each page have same settings which override Theme Options. Please read manual to learn more.

Fixed on my site. I’d love to see this sitewide when a change is made in the global theme options.
On the portfolio index page, it says “All works” on the top right (where you click to sort). What file do I need to access to change the wording for this?

I apologize for so many question in a row. I figure you guys are asleep right now, so I want to have as many answers as possible tomorrow when I wake up (EST) and get back to work on the site.
How do you disable thumbnails on the individual portfolio item pages? It seems like there should be an option in the theme options panel (under View -> Portfolio -> Content), but there are no options at all under that portion of the theme options panel.
Not sure I understand you. You are able to add or not to add thumbnails, right?

I am able to add thumbnails to blog posts and portfolio posts. In the theme options panel, I can disable thumbnails being shown on single blog posts. The same option to hide them does not seem to be there for portfolio posts.
Add, and then hide it? No such feature is not available.
I’ve definitely used Wordpress. This is probably the 50-60th Wordpress project I’ve launched. I’m just not a developer/designer, which is why I buy themes here on ThemeForest instead of designing them from scratch.
Is this something you’ll consider adding in an update? It’d be great to see some sort of extra field added (similar to excerpts or custom fields on blog posts).
Also, this might be the answer: Are there supposed to be options under Theme Options -> Portfolio -> Content? That section is blank on my admin panel, even though there is a link to get to it in the Poise theme options.
No, we don’t plan to add custom title and description for portfolio posts because all users use WP titles and beginning of the content. Why you want to override title? I’d never heard about it earlier

I was able to change this, but I think it would be helpful to buyers if the process were outlined in the documentation. Maybe I’m just missing it.
We don’t describe third-party plugins in our docs. You can read Theme Key Features on item’s description page.
When you get around to making video work in lightbox, can you set it up so that you can have a custom thumbnail on the video, but have it only show in the thumbnail grid. Once you click the magnifying glass the video pops up lightbox, and if you click the details button then on detail page show only video, no thumbnail.
Thanks. It would also be awesome if we could have multiple videos per portfolio item. I suppose it would be possible anyway, but being able to have thumbnails for a few videos rotate on the grid would be awesome. Oh and being able to scroll through all videos of that item in lightbox would be even more awesome.
I know, some wild ones there, I would be happy with just the first part, the rest would make you a star

Evgeny, how about them comments on portfolio items? If you just give me a hint I’ll try to figure it out. I’m still trying to figure out how all the pieces are assembled in your code.
jprood, its not the logo that you need to make bigger, its the description on the right that needs to be smaller, use firebug in firefox you’ll see the exact class you need to modify. I believe its div.description in style.css.

You can add you widgets in custom sidebar only in footer. Blog has sidebar only. Sidebars in portfolio are very rarely.

I just want to make sure i’m not clogging up comments when i’m supposed to be submitting requests some other way.
That’s unfortunate about the sidebar and comments in the portfolio. I’ll still try to make it work, just going to get lots more dirty doing it.

Hi there,
I have installed and am currently trying to configure Poise for a client, but am having trouble customizing the style options.
I have made some adjustments to the body colour and background pattern, for example, via Theme Options > Style; however, the changes are having no effect. I’ve pressed “Save All Changes”, and my changes persist in the back end UI, but are not reflected on the live blog after a refresh.
What’s going wrong?

1) Sure you didn’t upload the whole archive downloaded from TF. Upload only theme folder or find install ready theme in Zipped folder.
2) You need to check read/write privileges for theme’s folder and all files inside. Set 755.

Thanks for the reply. I have verified that all permissions are 755 and user-owned (they were before).
I installed fresh WP and poise on my test server, for comparison, and everything works fine there. For some reason the behaviour is different on my client’s server.
In comparing the output of both, it appears that the <style> element that should exist near the end of the <head> (prior to the <script> that links the fonts) is not being included.
Where else can I look?

Hi, after deleting a media from media library, if you push new media it give a “invalid post error”. But the worst thing is that i can’t upload any media in the slider,becouse when i push “get image” the button duplicate itself every click on it and nothing else happens. What’s wrong with installation?

Also, when you’ll be making video-popout functionality, can you allow any embed code to be in the popout? I mean, don’t limit the functionality to vimeo and youtube, please.

Hi, two questions. 1. i can find where to change out the footer side bar in the portfolio page for a new one that ive created and used on all the other pages footers.
2. Firefox throws the right side bar underneath the portfolio post instead of keeping it on the right side where it should be. everywhere else its fine just on the portfoilio posts.

But you are able to use sidebar widgets in footer only with portfolio template. Portfolio has fixed width and 2-3-4-... column portfolio do not have sidebar as a rule.
