I have the following problem: In “Theme Options”> “View”> Portfolio “Content”, I can see the editing options. Only appears blank. Any suggestions?

This is because I wanted to edit the main category of the portfolio. When I go to a portfolio entry (Example: http://dantesagripanti.com.ar/a/portfolio/cerraduras-bisagras-retenedores/), I get at the top of the page: Home / Oil Service / Cerraduras – Bisagras – Retenedores and I dont want to see Oil Service there, the correct one is: Trabajos especiales.

What can I do?

You need to double check that you didn’t upload the whole archive with docs, screenshots, etc. on your ftp. FAQs page.

This is simple column shortcodes. Also you can use demo xml file to figure out how it was did. Note, you need to use demo file ONLY with test EMPTY database.

Hi! Sorry, when I installed the theme, I upload to FTP the entire folder called “Poise”. This is fine? Would have to remove anything? Please help!

Hey – thanks for this – was a bit tricky to set up but got there in the end!

I have a question about the slider. Obviously we have Image / Button / Custom HTML …

Can we not have an image as a link? For example if you had various slider items sliding in, could we target one or more of these with a link?

I think it may causes some discrepancies with php scripts. If you really need this, you can try to replace nivo slider script, then place it back if have some troubles.

so far yes.. i tried it in safari for pc, chrome for both and ie.. i haven’t tried it on an updated safari for mac, but will do that shortly.. im hoping its a device issue and not a compiling / processing one.. Im going to do some more testing. Thanks for the response!

Hello,
Theme css: poise/css/style.css. But I suggest you to past your styles after ”*/” in the root style.css (or WP editor) and you will not loose your changes when update theme.

Hi, First of all, thanks a lot for your work, the theme is quite great ! I’ve just bought it and its very efficient. On Poise, the way you make appears all info from portfolio pleased me, this is one of the reason I bought it.

However, I build my website only on articles and all my posts work like reports with many pictures and texts by posts.. I made many work on categories before, and I do not want to do it again.

How can I modify the template to get the same presentation of the blog section as portfolio’s section (to get the possibility to publish articles and photos, but not only photos) ?

Hello! Much thanks for your review!
It’s not easy to do, as it seems at first glance. You need to replace all structure, functions, etc. Believe me, a lot easier to copy the content from the posts than to remake the entire page.

1. Download the final zip file from your downloads page.
2. Unzip the final zip file; you should now have a final download folder.
3. Do NOT upload the final download folder. Open up the final download folder.
4. Browse the contents and find the actual theme folder (poise). If you look inside the theme folder, you will see a “style.css” file. This is how you know you have found the theme folder.
5. Upload ONLY the theme folder to your “wp-content/themes” folder.
6. Login to your WordPress admin panel and activate the theme.

Hi I just purchased this and it say install theme failed. That it was missing the style.css stylesheet. I tried redownloading it and reinstalling and the same message.

Thank you it worked perfectly. Everything looks great and the only thing I cant figure out how to change is the flickr feed/widget on the footer. I would like to place my instagram widget there, but I can’t seem to find out where to change it.

Flickr plugin is built-in. You need to use Instagram wordpress plugin. Try this for example http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-instagram/ Note, if it does not fit our design, then you need to add your own styles.

When you get in the website www.elpostreweb.com the first time on a computer the text showed in the extra content are on top of the extra content below.
