Awesome theme! How can I disable comments on one page only that uses the default template?
Hey Joey,
In the Edit Page screen, check for a Discussion box. Make sure your settings are just like here: http://d.pr/i/8oLZ
Regards.
Thank you so much! I guess I should’ve known that. One other question, is there a way to put the social icons (e.g., Facebook and Twitter) to the right of the submit button in the Newsletter?
Hey Joey,
Unfortunately, this can’t be done without some custom work. Please kindly check http://icypixels.com/customization/ or get in touch with other freelancers through http://freelanceswitch.com/
Best of wishes.
Hi,
I have installed the theme and enabled featured slider from the theme options. However, I dont see the featured slider on home page. Also, when I add widgets to the widget area, they dont reflect on home page.. Can you please tell me how to enable them ?
Hey there,
Did you use a Home page template as specified in the documentation?
Thanks for the purchase!
Is there a way to put social media icons to the right of the Submit button in the Newsletter widget?
Hi - Great template. Totally loving it. I’d like to include an image slider within a blog post as the live preview shows. How do I do that? e
Hello there Emilie,
When in the New Post page, set a Gallery Post format, and using the Gallery Settings box, upload your desired images. If you stumble, here’s a short video I made for my new theme, which uses the same system: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDwPMIMJsLA&t=19m
Hello,
I have recently purchased your theme and I didn’t notice it at the time but the recent posts widget is not displaying properly on your demo site or on my own. You will see the post content overlays and creates problems with the title of the second post.
How can we resolve this?
Thanks, Chris
Hey Chris,
Firstly, let me thank you for the purchase and for choosing one of my products! I really appreciate it!
I’m going to try and iron this bug out and release an update. Also, do the following in your TF Downloads tab: http://envato.homac.at/a2gn2564042.jpg
If I can be of any further assistance, or if you have any more questions, please let me know. Have a great day!

Thank you for the quick response. The issue I mentioned above really makes my site look sloppy. Any ideas when an update will be ready?
Also is there any way to remove the timestamp/no comments part to the right?
Hey there Chris,
The update should be available some time this week. I’m pretty busy with school, but I’ll try my best
Unfortunately, it’s not possible without modifying the source code files.
Regards.
Hello and thanks for the great theme! I’m having a little difficulty setting up the Buddypress registration page. Every time, in my settings, that I designate a certain page (even a new one) as the registration page, I click save, and when I try to view it, it just take me back to the home page! It’s very odd. The activation page designation seems to work fine…but the registration page is a no go. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hey Todd,
Did you enable registration on your website? Also, are you signed out of your account when testing things out? You’ll need to be signed out, otherwise, the registration page has no point when you’re already signed in.
Regards.
Err mah gerrrd…I didn’t think of that. Thanks for the quick reply!! Done and working!
You’re welcome Todd!
Hey Icy… Another quick question…but I think this is a legit question – I need to add 2 more slides to my home page. How do I do that, since you only allow 5 in the options? And also, when I turn it on and put more than one slide in, none of the slides are showing up. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks! It’s for www.thethreadpleasureisland.com. Thanks bud!
Hey Todd,
No image is appearing on your website slideshow, because there are JS errors caused by other plugins you have installed. As an example, your jquery.dimensions.js file loaded by a plugin, has an error. I’m not loading this file anywhere in the theme. Also, regarding the 7 slides, you can easily submit a customization form on my website here: http://icypixels.com/customization/
Regards.
Thanks again for the quick response. Figured it out on both ends. Thanks for the notice on the conflict.
In the politic theme latest post widget section, there is a messed up with the inner post listings.,so it’s not showing properly while displaying the content in home page widgets.,so take a look on to it, once you fixed that issue let me know or send your suggestions for that. Please refer the following location : http://themeforest.net/item/politic-campaign-political-wp-buddypress-theme/full_screen_preview/2564042
In the above preview URL you can see the bug in latest post widgets section, the contents are messed up with one another.
Hey John,
Thanks for noticing. I’m going to fix it and release an update.
If I can be of any further assistance, or if you have any more questions, please let me know. Have a great day!

Thank you, You too have a nice day
Hey Icy!
1. How do I change the title of the “Blog” page. I tried to create a new page “Latest” and set the blog to show up there but the title is still showing up as “Blog”.
2. How do I change the logo for the login page? I replaced the image via FTP but it has different dimensions and than the “custom login logo” and squashed it.
3. Is there a way to put a title on the search results page (this is ideal)? If not is there a way to remove it from the top location? It jumps to the bottom of the navigation on the search results page since there is no title in place.
Appreciate any help you can lend. Thanks, Will
Also does anyone know how to edit the META widget? I want to remove the “Entire RSS, Comments RSS, and WordPress.org” links.
Thanks for any help!!
Hello Thomas,
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. This doesn’t fall under theme support and you’re trying to modify core WordPress functions.

Did you by chance see my previous comment about a couple other things. Really appreciate your reply and help!
Hey Thomas,
I will take a look on it next thing tomorrow
Hope you don’t mind
I’m trying to set up a website for a friend who is running for county judge. I’ve tried to activate things, and place the widgets into the boxes, but it looks like this: www.cassidyforudge.com. Can you help me?
Thanks!
Hey there,
Firstly, let me thank you for the purchase and for choosing one of my products! I really appreciate it!
Of course, there’s no problem. You’ll need to use the “Home” page template in order to use widgets on the homepage. After creating a page with the “home” page template, simply place in widgets there, in the widget zones, so you can easily have your layout constructed easily.
Also, I highly recommend using the demo import .xml file I provided, to get you a head start onto things. You’ll also learn how to make different things by having them already made, and study further on them
If I can be of any further assistance, or if you have any more questions, please let me know. Have a great day!

I do I import that .xml file/where to?
Thanks for the help, and sorry for the inexperienced questions. If I can make this theme looking anything like it looks in the screenshot, I’ll be thrilled.
M
Here are some easy steps.
1. Install WordPress 2. Install the theme. 3. Go to Tools > Import . Select the .xml file and upload it. 4. Go to Settings > Reading and set your homepage and blog page. 5. Go to Appearance > Widgets to set up your homepage using Widgets.
Regards.
Thanks! That worked. Hopefully this will be my last question: is there a way to remove the white bar for the logo while still maintaining the ability to put a logo there?
If I remember correctly out of the top of my head, you would need the following Custom CSS:
.header-background { background-image: none; }
Last question—what should the height of a logo be?
Hello Gwen,
I’m sorry but you don’t seem to have a purchased badge, yet you are asking questions like you already have the theme.
Kind regards.
Are you available to make minor tweaks/changes to elements in the theme? I will gladly pay an hourly rate or come to some sort of an agreement for compensation.
I have installed this theme but I’m having difficulty adjusting the margins. On each individual page the text seems to run all the way to the end. Is this a known issue? What can I do to fix it?
Hey there,
Try using the columns shortcodes, as it will help you organize your text and content.
Paul
support spanish?
Yes, the theme comes with .po/.mo localization files, which will enable you to translate the theme into spanish.
