To have an instagram option is a good idea, @Tatum21.
A flickr like widget area with preview images from an instagram account. But it is not very useful to link the user directly to the instagram account via clicking on the photo.
Is it possible to cache the images or something like that and to present them into a lightbox first? So the user is not redirecting to instagram in the first step.
And as a feedback: The option for adding the three individual icons to a post for selling things is really great.

Unfortunately Tumblr doesn’t have a thumbnail option, so this is mostly a workaround. I’m currently working on an update that will be released next week and hopefully it will improve the thumbnails.
However, you can try to see how it looks like if you turn off the ‘tiling thumbnails’ option that is currently available.

it works, it’s not tiling the images anymore.still , the images that would have been tiled before now appear blurry.its much better anyway ,but is there any way to get hold of that update when it comes out? thank you for your answers ,honey, and great work ! <3

Is it possible to have tiled image for the background? Is there any way to work around so that spacing can be used for the custom and top tags? Apparently only letters and numbers work for the custom and top tags. I tried using % but it didn’t work.
May I suggest you have a separate option to customize the colors for the custom and top tags instead of sharing Accent 1 to 3 only, so that the colors do not clash with the mouse-over of the thumbnails.

Here are my answers:
1. In update 1.9 it will be possible to have a tiled image in the background.
2. Will check the spacing issue in a next update (not the current one and I’m wrapping it up for launch this week). But you can’t use symbols as these words are also used in CSS code and won’t work.

Hi Misspato, After buying the theme (which I ADORE ) and installing it, I find that the photoset option, pretty much takes care of everything I’d asked for. That said, I need to know a few things: 1. I cannot rearrange my pages. They rearrange in the customisation sidebar, but go back to the original order. What do you suggest? 2. Can I remove the ‘Send me an email’ button from the posts? I am not using it as a shop, so I’d like it really minimal.

1. After rearranging the pages in the customization area, you need to hit the SAVE button on the top of this sidebar. If this doesn’t work, try it in a different browser just to see if it’s a Tumblr bug.
2. To remove the button, please find this bit of code:

Hi Misspato, I tried another browser. Only works sometimes, and when I rearrange, I find it far better to just recreate the pages (which is more messy) as a workaround. The removal of the contact button worked.
Just a question, I have been using 2 scripts to alter the way I post, one allows me to put in a custom code so I can alter the layout of the posts and the second allows me to get an upload photo button on all kinds of posts. Is there any way you can incorporate that in?

Using image as background, you actually also need to add an option to have a background color for the contents. If not the words can’t be seen clearly on background image full of patterns. I edited myself on version 1.8 and everything was fine. But in version 1.9, the alignments are a bit messy at the #permalinkpage, due to your codings for different screen size.
I am not a web programmer, just self study and edit here and there. I need your help to fix this problem: http://sianzlist.tumblr.com/post/37063578302/squats-do-squats-everyday-for-the-month-of I added a padding for the #permalinkpage but the “postinfo” has absolute position that float top-right. If i remove the absolute position, it will go to next line below the “maincontent”. I don’t know how to adjust the width so that the “postinfo” stays on the right side while the padding can be seen.And also as you can see in that post, I had a breakline(hr). When seen at the index page if thumbnail text is enabled, the mouseover actually goes out of shape because the text is too long. I fixed it by reducing the line height for the thumbnail text, but still, I can’t fix for the videos. You can check out my index page.
By the way, you forgot to add a line of code to remove thumbnail text for overlay2. =)

I have plans in the next update to have that background issue improved: you will be able to independently choose a color for the content and another for the rest of the page background.
For a quick fix on the video thumbnail, please add this code on the custom css field:

I kind of fix everything to the way I want from the tips you gave. Thank you! But it’s a pity that the thumbnail text must be displayed with {Plaintext} to work properly. If not displayed in {Plaintext}, and if there’s hyperlink in the post content, the thumbnail caption will be haywire. lol… If you ever find a way to fix this, do include in your future updates!

The problem is if the thumbnail text is not {Plaintext} it will behave strangely. I used that in the previous version and when the post was a reblog the output was really messy :-/
However, you can costumize it so it’s not {Plaintext} for you. You just need to remove the ‘Plaintext’ in the tag – instead of {PlaintextCaption} use just {Caption}.

How can i add bubble tags (buy, soon etc..), since i dont see option how to or where to add it ?

To add the bubble tags to the Pop Gallery Tumblr Theme you just need to do 2 things:
1. Go to your Customise panel > Appearance and then choose the words you want to show on the bubble tags where it says ‘BubbleTag 1’, ‘BubbleTag 2’ and ‘BubbleTag 3’. Please note that you should only use one word (or if two, use an hyphen ’-’).
Since version 1.9 you can now personalize one color per bubble tag. You can find those also in the Appearance panel, in the colors area in the ‘BubbleTag 1’, ‘BubbleTag 2’ and ‘BubbleTag 3’ colors.

2. Then when creating a post you need to add the same word as a tag. Just one per post.

Hello. I am using a MAC to download the file, but I cannot get the appropriate HTML code in order for the theme to work properly. I am using “Text Edit” to open the file, but it has a whole bunch of “block” commands in it. Can you help with this?

You need to do 2 things first to Text Edit in order for it to open the file as text:
1 – Go to Preferences / New Document > Format > Plain Text 2 – Go to Preferences / Open and Save > Check ‘Display HTML files as HTML code…’
Then open the file. It should start with <!doctype html>
I hope this works
