For those of us who have purchased this theme, we have no idea what these recent updates include.

No, not sure exactly how or what to do with a child theme but the CSS I edited was within the settings tab in the Spuropress settings.

WORST service, support and bugs I’ve purchased on this site. Theme updater doesn’t work through Admin (have to download again and reinstall, which broke my logo… always storage bugs with every update). Promises support on the page, which takes you to another page, which takes you to another page with a ticketing system you’ll never have answered. 1/5 stars… STAY AWAY FROM THIS “ELITE” AUTHOR’S WORK!

Remove it meanwhile the update is approved..

has anybody uploaded the new updates? Does it mess up the theme anymore? I will keep theme as is for now and purchase a new one – but, don’t want to update if it’s going to crash.

I cannot change the Porto logo… When I load the page it flips back from my logo to yours!

Also the skin color, changing it has no effect!!

Hi there! How to I edit the dimensions for the logo in the header? Your default size is too small for us and I don’t see a way to edit. I’ve submitted a support ticket a couple of days ago, but haven’t heard back.

We have upgraded the Porto to Bootstrap 3. Bootstrap 3 is a major overhaul, and there are a lot of changes from Bootstrap 2.x. So, after upgrading Porto users are facing issues.

We have created a migration plugin install it and click migrate to migrate your old pages from Bootstrap 2 to Bootstrap 3.

You CAN’T update it from the Admin panel! Stop saying this as you’re driving everyone crazy and it makes you look like an idiot who hasn’t even checked the advice you’re handing out copy/paste style. And the logo size is still screwed up and small, and you need to manually fix it. Your updates aren’t dong anyone any favors, and you’re completely ignoring the issues that have multiple posts about them here!

In case you missed it the first time: FIX THE TINY LOGO PROBLEM! YOUR UPDATES HAVE NOT ADDRESSED IT. Stop copying/pasting the same reply that doesn’t fix jack with the logo size issue!

Hello SpyroPress, great theme! Man, i see that a lot of your customers (like me) are having problem with the size of the logo.

The big problem is that the property styles(and that includes sizes[height and weight]) was written inside the header.php.

Couldn’t you just modify that? It’s so simple… As i’m sure you already know, you just have to create a class rule for the logo and put the property styles inside style.css on that rule, instead of putting directly the property styles in html code inside header.php.

The problem is two:

1)A lot of people doesnt know how to modify header.php

2) If we modify the header.php to change the size of the logo, we will not be able to receive news updates in header.php (because if we do updates, the size change will go back to the original)

If you do that… garanteed five stars will raise! (that will include my vote, because you have a very nice theme here!)

i’m trying to import revolution-slider sample data but i am not having sucess.

I imported the demo data from spyropress -> theme options -> import/export. But the revolution slider does not upload with this demo data….

What should i do? Please if you could, tell me step by step. There is no instructions in documentation about that.

@MikoM Anyway, thanks for the help! hehehe ^^ the problem was that the images wasnt appearing in the slides, even when i imported the revslider sample-data.txt. But i did a research and i found out that we must have to upload manually the images (and all the folders linked to them), inside the folder wp-content/uploads/

Hi paulolpd,

Thought I’d jump in and let you know as I’ve just figured it out myself.

Just login to your admin panel and go to > “Revolution Slider”

When in there simply select the “Import Slider” option and upload the slider you want from the “Sample Data” folder in the downloaded package.

Do this for each slider and you got yourself all you need :)

It pretty much the same for other themes Ive purchased.

@paulolpd, I simply uploaded the home1.zip, home2.zip files etc as they already contain the images within. This seemed to do the trick for me without the need to manually upload the images.

The Rich Text module doesn’t seem to be working. When you try to save anything just stays in the state of saving.
