..when I put the set_id value on the portfolio shortcode it says “Empty portfolio item. Please make sure you have created it or check the short code.” ...need help!

I tested the site in IE10 and its messed up….is this theme not compatible with IE10?

I have problem with shortcode. When I add shortcode the formatting of the page text crashes.

Is there any way of sorting the order of the slides? When i add a new slide it becomes the first slide to load, however i would prefer it to be the 3rd slide

Never mind – i found this addon re-ordered the slides and other things too http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-types-order/

The slide re-order page in the admin area does not work properly – so I cannot re-order the homepage slider.

I have tried on all major browsers.

I’ve just downloaded this again to try and get the fix you talk about above but the latest date of the included files is 25/01/2013. Also having issues with the skins function being empty in the theme options.

Skins not showing in options. Works on local WAMP server, doesn’t work on live server. What permissions do we need to set? Can’t give you the FTP.

Still trying to get the skins issued fixed. If I install theme on a new Wordpress install then in OK but if I move this install using backupbuddy, backupcreator, or some other plugin then the skins no longer work. I really need to find out what the issue is and get this fixed.

Hmm, not sure how that would be the case (the javascript conflict mentioned) – perhaps the theme developer could expand upon that suggestion a little more?

But in any case, in our experience there are generally two causes for problems like this – a theme/plugin may store information in a file and the location of that file is is recorded somewhere so when the site is moved to another location and the theme/plugin goes looking for the file where it thinks it should be it can’t find it; or the theme/plugin stores data in the database in a non-standard was that is incompatible with WordPress best practices and means that information cannot be reliably migrated to another server.

If your theme developer can check that out and let you know then that might help us progress this for you.

Alternatively most themes would provide a means of exporting/importing settings so you could check with the theme developer about exporting your settings for this information from the “working” site and then importing them to the migrated site. Alternatively check with the theme developer about a recommendation for migrating the theme data from one server to another.

I have tried: portfolio1 set_id=”43” title=”About Us” items=”3” pause_time=”15”

Neither work. “attorneys” doesnt have any effect. It simply lists all the portfolios. when I set the ID to 43 (which is double checked to make sure it is the right ID) I get the error about an empty portfoilio item.

Please help. Love your theme.

Hi, I have a problem with the translation of the slide, I use WPML plugin. The problem is that, slides shows for all languages, ??regardless of the language. Anyone having problems with skins this seems to be related to this being hardcoded rather than using the database. Additionally it seems the developer is assuming that the database prefix is the default wp_ which normally I would never use. If I stick with that then I don’t get issues.
