Is there a way to manually change the order of the portfolio through the WP admin page and have the order reflect on the site? I just want to change the order of the portfolio items.

This seems like a basic feature to include.

Now I understand, yes you can do this, you simply change the date of publication (Publish Date) of project. As it does with blog post, very simple and basic.

Thank you for the reply. This is actually a good work-around! Not as easy as drag-drop but I can Quick Edit and do it pretty quickly. Worked for me.

Is there a way to directly link to a portfolio item (for example for posting direct links to social media) ??

I see that the slug in the portfolio item is, for example, hxxp://www.sitename.com/portfolio/whatever, but going to that URL just shows the large image on a blank page.

Hi I have a problem with comments. When I set up a new page I get automaticly a comment or message option for visitors. I don’t whant this to appear. Can you tell me how I can do this? Or how I can enable comments on my website on every page?

Hi, what kind of message? Can you please sent to me your website url? Thanks

For anybody who wishes to order the pages in the single-page layout by their ‘order’ instead of by their id, you should change this line (#52) in page-template-home.php:
query_posts( array( 'post_type' => 'page', 'post__in' => $include, 'posts_per_page' => count($include), 'orderby' => 'post__in' ) );
to:
query_posts( array( 'post_type' => 'page', 'post__in' => $include, 'posts_per_page' => count($include), 'orderby' => 'menu_order', 'order' => 'ASC' ) );

Potassium team, please update your theme accordingly. Otherwise, posts are displayed in the order in which they were created.
