I’m having some issues with the portfolio slider in Internet Explorer 9. The site i’m working on is: http://www.marketingklussen.nl.

The first problem is that sometimes in ie9 the portfolio image in the slider doesn’t center. (http://marketingklussen.nl/screenshots/screenshot_1.png). When I press Ctrl+ and Ctrl- (zoom in and out in ie) the image does center and the problem is gone.

The second problem is that sometimes in IE9 the icons on the homepage appear as squares. This seems to be a font problem. (http://marketingklussen.nl/screenshots/screenshot_2.jpeg)

The third problem is that sometimes, in most browsers i’ve testes in, the slider on the homepages appears out of alignment: (http://marketingklussen.nl/screenshots/screenshot_3.png)

I do have a question for you. My client is hoping to put a search box in the header of the theme- visible on all pages. Typically I can do this by inserting the code for the Search Box in the header.php file. Will I be able to do this with the Powerful theme?

If we wanted to use the different slider on multiple pages does the theme allow this or is it setup for only using a slider on the home page.

Wanting to do a portfolio site by using multiple slideshows rather than galleries or inline images.

I’m having trouble with shortcode blocks floating and clearing properly. I have a series of blocks that I’ve put into two columns. As I have the sidebar turned on, I need to use the [one_third] column blocks.

The blocks on the left use the [one_third_first] tag and the ones on the right use the [one_third_last] tag. However, when a [one_third_last] block on the right is not as high as it’s partnered [one_third_first] block on the left, any blocks below the pair will move up and wrap to the right of the [one_third_first] block.

Am I using the tags correctly? If I am, how do I make it so each pair of blocks exists on its own row?

I am considering purchasing this template for my organization. However, I was wondering if there was a gallery capability? I noticed that under the “Portfolio” tab, the thumbnails are arranged as if in a gallery. However, when you click on a thumbnail, it redirects to the item details. Is there a way to have the image popup in a lightbox?

Is there anyway I can get the header notice to remain on the homepage after every refresh even if the user had clicked the X on their last visit?

I sent in an e-mail a few days ago with a question (that e-mail contained my purchase code) but haven’t heard back, so I’m posting a comment here:

I believe I am experiencing the bug where portfolio slider images do not save. The changelog states this was fixed in version 1.2 and WordPress is telling me I am running version 1.2 but I am still having issues.

First, I am not sure if I am even able to upload images here, as seen by this image: http://i.imgur.com/dNc6FCG.png . It doesn’t look like there is any functionality supporting images here.

So what I did was, upload images elsewhere, set the “big image” and then copy the ID# for the big image into the slide numbers and then save. A grey box is displayed where I expect the images to be displayed and there is no “next” or “prev” image arrows, ie. there is no slider at all and no image either. However, if I set “slides” to “0” then the big_image works properly, so I know the ID# is correct.

Any help?

Hello, I have an issue with the slider—transparent PNG and GIF images are not showing the transparency, just a grey background where the transparency is supposed to occur. So when they layer over each other you only see the topmost layer with a grey BG.
